Definitions
- the present invention relates to a railway sleeper made of concrete the preamble of claim 1.
- the present invention therefore aims to overcome these disadvantages of remedy known thresholds and a new type of threshold with one Propose enveloping rubber shoe that is also on the open track can be used, and the bad weather, in particular the rain, without impairment of function or damage from wear and tear defies.
- the threshold should be designed in such a way that any ingress of water and contaminants from the top Edge of the shoe made of rubber is prevented.
- the drip tray of the concrete body must be in accordance with the present invention are provided with an upturned groove, into which the upper edge of the rubber lining shoe goes extends.
- This groove which is not just a kind of labyrinth seal between the Shoe made of rubber and the concrete body of the threshold forms, but also nestled the upper edge of the rubber shoe against the concrete body holds and presses to a certain extent, even if according to the invention it is provided that between the outside of the groove and the upper edge of the rubber lining shoe a small space remains, which prevents vertical vibration and movement of the concrete body, which inevitably occur when a train passes through, without cushioning directly over the rubber lining shoe onto the base be transmitted.
- Fig. 1 the embodiment of a threshold with a lining shoe made of rubber which is closest to that of the present invention represents prior art and the already published EP-97810597.1 of the same applicant, with 1 the concrete body Threshold referred to that in a cross section at right angles to the rail 2 is shown.
- the rail 2 is by means of conventional mounting bracket 4th attached to the upper horizontal surface 3 of the concrete body 1.
- the upper horizontal surface of the concrete body 1 does not necessarily have to consist of a single horizontal plane: This can, as in the Fig. 1 is shown, in one direction or the other suitable grooves laterally have next to the rail 2.
- the definition of an upper horizontal Surface 3 is therefore to be understood in a wider sense, i.e. generally as the upper surface on which the rail 2 is attached.
- the concrete body 1 has a lower horizontal Has surface 5 and a lining shoe 6 made of rubber, the an enveloping vessel with side walls 7, which forms the entire concrete body surrounded in its central area, and provided with an edge 8 is, the reinforcement 9 extends outward as a thickening.
- the walls 12 and 13 and the two walls not visible in FIG. 1 in turn run in two levels 12 ', 12 ", or 13', 13", which differ from the horizontal surfaces 3 or 5 downwards (surfaces 12 'and 13') or upwards (surfaces 12 "and 13") up to about the middle area of the concrete body 1 extend.
- the two longitudinal planes 12 ', 12 ", or 13', 13" and the end planes, which are not visible in FIG. 1, run vertically or slightly inclined outwards, both those from the upper surface 3 goes out as well as those that start from the lower surface 5. It is to specify that when talking about levels, not necessarily one flat surface is meant in the geometric sense, but also a surface, which is partly (i.e.
- FIG. 2 shows the details of an area shown enlarged in cross section, in which the two named levels 13 ', 13 "come together, the inventive feature of the present invention based on a first Form of training shown.
- the drip tray 14 of the concrete body 1 here is provided with an upwardly facing groove 15 into which the upper edge 8 of the rubber lining shoe 6 extends with a gap 16 remains free against the outside of the groove 15.
- the gap has 16 the function, the transmission of vertical displacements of the concrete body 1 over the edge 8 to prevent rubber that is made of quite hard rubber there is vibration and thus noise from the concrete body 1 could be transferred directly to the substructure, the function of Vibration damping could be lost, which is the main purpose of the lining shoe made of rubber. So that a lateral clamping of the edge 8th the rubber lining shoe 6 is prevented in the groove 15, is sufficient lateral play of a few tenths of a millimeter, as it is primarily vertical Movements of the concrete body.
- the shape of the groove base of the groove 15 according to the invention can be as desired can be selected, it being sufficient that this groove, as shown in FIG. 2 is turned upwards, i.e. that they are in the edge of the drip tray 14 extends from the bottom up.
- FIG. 2 A special shape of the groove 15 is shown in FIG. 2.
- the groove points 15 diverging side walls 17, 18, which is a V-shaped, itself form a groove that opens downwards.
- This shape of the groove 15 points accordingly the rubber lining shoe 6 has an upper edge 8 with walls 19, 20 on, which form a V-shaped thickening with angles that with those of the groove 15th to match.
- the upper edge 8 projects over a distance t into the concrete body 1 the threshold, which is at least as large as the thickness z of the edge 8 at the point at which the edge 8 in the lining shoe 6 transforms.
- the advantage of the solution according to FIG. 2 is that an edge 8 arises, which has a large thickness and therefore great flexural rigidity. This provides the best sealing properties between the lining shoe 6 and the Concrete body 1 safely.
- parallel grooves 21 can also be seen, which are on the inside of the lining shoe 6 made of rubber, which have the function to give elasticity to the rubber body, but within the scope of the present Invention play no role.
- FIG. 3 shows another one in a manner very similar to that in FIG. 2 Embodiment of the present invention shown.
- the same reference numerals used and indexed where necessary.
- Fig. 3 it is shown that the groove 15 'with each other has parallel walls 22, 23 (or at right angles to the surface of the concrete substructure 11 in which the threshold is cemented).
- the Liner shoe 6 accordingly has an upper edge 8 'that with walls 24, 25 which run parallel to one another and which are located in the groove 15 'in the concrete body 1 of the threshold extends over a distance t which is at least as large as the thickness z of the edge 8 'of the lining shoe 6.
- This solution offers the advantage that it is very deep in a groove 15 'of great depth penetrating edges 8 of the lining shoe 6 can be used in such that the edge's effect as a labyrinth seal is enhanced without the risk that the edge 8 'of the lining shoe 6 jammed in the groove 15 'with parallel walls.
- edge 8 'of the Liner shoes made of rubber an outward reinforcing thickening 26 can penetrate any shape, its mechanical flexural strength improved.
- This represents another characteristic represents, according to the invention to all embodiments of the present invention can be applied regardless of the form of the corresponding in Grooves in the concrete body extending edge, and which the sealing effect between the edge 8, 8 'of the lining shoe 6 made of rubber and reinforced the concrete body 1.
- the drip tray shows 14 except for the upward-facing groove 15 'and the parallel ones Walls 22, 23 have an inward groove 27 into which a nose-shaped protruding bump of the upper edge 8 'of the lining shoe 6 penetrates from rubber, with a space 28 upwards and a space 28 'remain free against the bottom of the groove 27.
- This projecting Hump 29, which extends over the entire length of the edge 8 'of the lining shoe 6 extends causes the lining shoe 6 to be tight on the concrete body 1 remains nestled after it has been inserted once into the lining shoe 6 is.
