Der Deckelring (2) weist einen durch eine flachgedrückte Einrollung gebildeten Ringflansch (5) auf, der so flachgedrückt ist, daß die Deckelöffnung kleiner ist als das ausgestanzte Blechteil. Dieses bildet ein Verschlußteil (3), welches zum Verschließen der Deckelöffnung (9) mit dem Ringflansch (5) durch Heißsiegeln verbunden ist. Damit der Deckel (1) nach erstmaligem Abziehen des Verschlußteiles (3) wiederverschließbar ist, ist das Verschlußteil (3) vor dem Ausstanzen aus dem Deckelring (2) mit einer aus der Ebene (E-E) des Verschlußteiles (3) herausragenden, topfartigen Ausprägung (3b, 3c) versehen. Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen leicht zu öffnenden Dosendeckel, bestehend aus einem Deckelring, der durch Umformen eines zumindest einseitig mit einer heißsiegelfähigen Beschichtung versehenen Blechrohlings und Ausstanzen des von dem Deckelring umgebenen Blechteiles gebildet ist und der an seinem äußeren Rand einen Außenbördel zur Bildung eines Doppelfalzes und an seinem inneren Rand einen durch eine flachgedrückte Einrollung gebildeten Ringflansch aufweist, der eine Deckelöffnung umschließt, wobei die Einrollung so geformt und mit dem Ringflansch flachgedrückt ist, daß die Deckelöffnung kleiner ist als das ausgestanzte Blechteil und sich dessen ebener Randbereich und der Ringflansch gegenseitig überlappen, und wobei das ausgestanzte Blechteil ein Verschlußteil bildet, welches zum Verschließen der Deckelöffnung mit dem Ringflansch durch Heißsiegeln verbunden ist.
Ein derartiger, leicht zu öffnender Dosendeckel ist aus der DE 196 20 448 A1 bekannt. Gegenüber zuvor bekannten, leicht zu öffnenden Dosendeckeln, bei denen das Verschlußteil durch eine Aluminiumfolie gebildet war, wird bei dem eingangs erwähnten, leicht zu öffnenden Dosendeckel das bei der Herstellung des Deckelringes anfallende Blechteil als Verschlußteil verwendet. Hierzu ist es wichtig, daß der Blechrohling bzw. das Blech, aus dem Blechrohling ausgestanzt wird, zumindest einseitig eine heißsiegelfähige Beschichtung aufweist. Diese Beschichtung kann z.B. eine Folie aus Polypropylen oder Polyäthylenterephtalat, oder auch ein siegelfähiger, organischer Lack sein. Diese Beschichtung ist zu Beginn der Deckelfertigung in der Innenseite des Blechrohlings bzw. des späteren Deckels, d.h. an derjenigen Seite, die beim fertigen Deckel dem Innern der Dose zugekehrt ist, angeordnet. Durch den Umformvorgang wird die heißsiegelfähige Beschichtung im Bereich der Einrollung und durch das Flachdrücken derselben im Bereich des Ringflansches an die Deckelaußenseite gebracht. Da bei dem ausgestanzten Blechteil die heißsiegelfähige Beschichtung an der späteren Innenseite des Deckels angeordnet ist, kommen beim Heißsiegeln zwei heißsiegelfähige Beschichtungen aufeinander, was eine druckdichte Siegelung gewährleistet. Das Verschlußteil wird vor dem Versiegeln mit einer Öffnungslasche oder einem Öffnungsring versehen, so daß man durch Ziehen an der Öffnungslasche das Verschlußteil von dem Ringflansch des Deckelringes abziehen und damit die Dose ohne einen Dosenöffner leicht öffnen kann.
Der Erfindung liegt nun die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen leicht zu öffnenden Dosendeckel der eingangs erwähnten Art dahingehend zu verbessern, daß die Dose nach dem Abziehen des Verschlußteiles in einfacher Weise wieder verschließbar ist.
Dies wird nach der Erfindung dadurch erreicht, daß das Verschlußteil vor dem Ausstanzen aus dem Deckelring mit einer aus der Ebene des Verschlußteiles herausragenden, topfartigen Ausprägung versehen ist, die einen zwischen dem in der Ebene liegenden, ebenen Randbereich des Verschlußteiles und einem aus der Ebene herausgeprägten, sich im wesentlichen parallel zu dieser erstreckenden Deckelfeld liegenden Umfangsabschnitt aufweist, der sich im wesentlichen senkrecht zur Ebene erstreckt und dessen Umrißform und -abmessungen der Umrißform und den - abmessungen der Deckelöffnung so angepaßt sind, daß das Verschlußteil mit seiner Ausprägung klemmend in die Deckelöffnung einsetzbar ist.
Durch diese Ausgestaltung vereinigt der Dosendeckel in sich zwei wesentliche Eigenschaften. Durch Abziehen (Peelen) des Verschlußteiles mittels der Öffnungslasche kann das Verschlußteil leicht vom Deckelring entfernt und damit die Dose geöffnet werden. Wenn der Doseninhalt nur teilweise verbraucht ist, kann man das Verschlußteil so auf den Deckelring aufsetzen, daß die Ausprägung zum Doseninneren hin zeigt. Durch Andrücken der Ausprägung in die Deckelöffnung wird der Umfangsabschnitt in der Deckelöffnung festgeklemmt und damit das Verschlußteil fest am Deckelring gehalten. Die am Flansch vorhandene Beschichtung sorgt dabei auch für eine ausreichende Abdichtung.
Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind in den Unteransprüchen gekennzeichnet.
Die Erfindung wird in folgendem, anhand von in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispielen näher erläutert. Es zeigen:

Der fertige, leicht zu öffnende Dosendeckel ist in der Zeichnung jeweils in einem Teilschnitt dargestellt, wobei dieser Teilschnitt den Randbereich des Dosendeckels 1 zeigt. Dieser Dosendeckel 1 besteht aus einem Deckelring 2 und einem Verschlußteil 3. Das Verschlußteil 3 ist durch ein Blechteil gebildet, welches bei der Herstellung des Deckelringes 2 anfällt. Sowohl der Deckelring 2 als auch das Verschlußteil 3, die beide aus dem gleichen Blechrohling hergestellt sind, weisen an ihrer Innenseite - dies ist bei der fertigen Dose die dem Dosenrumpf 4 zugekehrte, in den Zeichnungen unten liegende Seite des Dosendeckels 1 - eine heißsiegelfähige Beschichtung auf. Bei dieser Beschichtung, die in der Zeichnung nicht dargestellt ist, kann es sich um eine aufkaschierte Folie, oder eine direkt aufextrudierte Schicht aus Polypropylen, Polyäthylenterephtalat, einen siegelfähigen Lack oder dgl. handeln. Der Deckelring 2 weist an seinem inneren Rand einen durch eine flachgedrückte Einrollung gebildeten Ringflansch 5 auf. Durch das Einrollen des Ringflansches 5, welches in der DE 196 20 448 A1 näher beschrieben ist, ist der Ringflansch an seiner gesamten Außenseite, d.h. an seiner nach außen gerichteten Oberseite 5a und seiner zum Doseninneren gerichteten Unterseite 5b, mit der heißsiegelfähigen Beschichtung versehen. Auf den Ringflansch 5 ist das Verschlußteil 3, welches durch Ausstanzen eines von dem Deckelring 2 umgebenen Blechteiles gemäß dem in der vorgenannten Druckschrift näher beschriebenen Verfahren entstanden ist, mit seinem Randbereich 3a aufgesiegelt. Während des Herstellungsverfahrens des Deckelringes wird eine Einrollung so zu dem Ringflansch 5 flachgedrückt, daß sich dieser und der Randbereich 3a des Verschlußteiles 3 gegenseitig überlappen. Der Ringflansch 5 umschließt dann eine Deckelöffnung 9, die etwas kleiner ist als die Außenabmessung 10 des Verschlußteiles 3, obwohl das Verschlußteil 3 durch Ausstanzen eines Blechteiles aus dem Deckelring 2 entstanden ist.
Der Deckelring 2 weist ferner einen Außenbördel 6 auf, der zusammen mit einem entsprechenden Außenbördel 7 des Dosenrumpfes 4 zur Bildung eines Doppelfalzes dient. Zur Herstellung des Dosendeckels 1 wird ein Blech verwendet, z.B. Weißblech, verchromtes Feinstblech oder Aluminiumblech mit einer Dicke zwischen 0,05 und 0,3 mm. Dieses Blech weist zumindest an einer Seite, die bei der fertigen Dose dem Doseninneren zugekehrt ist, wie zuvor erwähnt, eine heißsiegelfähige Beschichtung auf. An der gegenüberliegenden Außenseite kann das Blech lackiert sein.
Die Herstellung des Dosendeckels aus dem Blechrohling erfolgt in mehreren Umformschritten, die in der DE 196 20 448 A1 näher beschrieben sind. In Ergänzung zu diesen Umformschritten wird bei der Herstellung des erfindungsgemäßen Dosendeckels das Blechteil, welches weder das Verschlußteil 3 bildet, vor dem Ausstanzen aus dem Deckelring 2 mit einer aus der Ebene E-E des Blechteiles herausragenden, topfartigen Ausprägung 3b, 3c versehen, was durch Hohlprägen, oder mehrsstufiges Tiefziehen erfolgen kann. Die topfartige Ausprägung 3b, 3c weist ein sich im wesentlichen parallel zur Ebene E-E erstreckendes Deckelfeld 3c und einen sich im wesentlichen senkrecht zur Ebene E-E erstreckenden Umfangsabschnitt 3b auf. Der Umfangsabschnitt 3b ist in seiner Umrißform und in seinen Umrißabmessungen der Umrißform und den Umrißabmessungen der Deckelöffnung 9 so angepaßt, daß das Verschlußteil 3 mit seiner Ausprägung, d.h. seinem Umfangsabschnitt 3b, klemmend in die Deckelöffnung 9 einsetztbar ist, wie es in Fig. 2 dargestellt ist.
Fig. 1 zeigt den Dosendeckel 1 in versiegeltem Zustand, d.h. das Verschlußteil 3 ist mit seinem ebenen Randbereich 3a mit dem flachgedrückten Ringflansch 5 versiegelt. Hierbei ist zweckmäßig die Ausprägung 3b, 3c so hergestellt, daß sie gegenüber der Dose nach außen gerichtet ist. Dies erleichtert nämlich das Abziehen des Verschlußteiles 3 zum Öffnen der Dose. Zu diesem Zweck ist eine Öffnungslasche 11 oder auch ein Öffnungsring vorgesehen, welche das Erfassen mit den Fingern zum Einleiten der Ausreißkräfte erlaubt. Die Öffnungslasche 11 weist einen Befestigungslappen 12 auf, der entlang einer Biegekante 12a umgebogen ist. Dieser Befestigungslappen 12 ist entlang einer Biegekante 12a umgebogen und sein umgebogener freier Abschnitt ist mit der Außenseite des Randbereiches 3a des Verschlußteiles 3 durch Heißsiegeln, Kleben oder dgl. verbunden. Die Verbindung erfolgt dabei derart, daß die Biegekante 12a in der Nähe des äußeren Randes des Verschlußteiles 3 angeordnet ist. Durch Ziehen an der Öffnungslasche 11 wird der Randbereich 3a des Verschlußteiles 3 zunächst im Bereich des Befestigungslappens 12 von dem Ringflansch 5 gelöst und anschließend kann das gesamte Verschlußteil 3 vom Deckelring 2 abgezogen werden.
Wenn der Doseninhalt nur teilweise verbraucht ist und noch später verwendet werden soll, kann man das Verschlußteil um 180° drehen und wieder auf den Deckelring 2 aufsetzen. Vorher muß allerdings die Öffnungslasche ebenfalls um 180° in entgegengesetzter Richtung um den äußeren Rand des Verschlußteiles 3 gebogen werden, damit sie wieder nach außen zu liegen kommt. Der Umfangsabschnitt 3b kann in die Deckelöffnung 9 eingedrückt werden und wird dort klemmend gehalten. Eine gewisse Abdichtung erfolgt durch die Beschichtung des Deckelringes 2, die an dem die Deckelöffnung 9 begrenzenden Teil des Ringflansches 5 dem Umfangsabschnitt 3b zugekehrt ist.
Bei dem in Fig. 3 dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel sind Teile gleicher Funktion mit den gleichen Bezugszeichen bezeichnet wie beim vorhergehenden Ausführungsbeispiel, weshalb vorstehende Beschreibung sinngemäß auch auf das in Fig. 3 dargestellte Ausführungsbeispiel zutrifft. Dieses Ausführungsbeispiel unterscheidet sich vom vorangegangenen Ausführungsbeispiel nur dadurch, daß die Ausprägung 3b, 3c des mit dem Ringflansch 5 versiegelten Verschlußteiles 3 bereits vor dem Ausstanzen zum Doseninneren hin gerichtet ist. Der Randbereich 3a des Verschlußteiles 3 ist mit dem Ringflansch 5 vor dem erstmaligen Öffnen der Dose versiegelt. Der Lappen 12 der Öffnungslasche 11 ist mit der Außenseite des Randbereiches 3a verklebt oder versiegelt. Nach dem erstmaligen Öffnen des Dosendeckels kann dessen Verschlußteil 3 in der gleichen Lage wieder in die Deckelöffnung 11 eingesetzt werden, um die teilweise geleerte Dose wieder zu verschließen.

Claims (5)

  1. Leicht zu öffnender Dosendeckel, bestehend aus einem Deckelring (2), der durch Umformen eines zumindest einseitig mit einer heißsiegelfähigen Beschichtung versehenen Blechrohlings und Ausstanzen des von dem Deckelring umgebenen Blechteiles gebildet ist und der an seinem äußeren Rand einen Außenbördel (6) zur Bildung eines Doppelfalzes und an seinem inneren Rand einen durch eine flachgedrückte Einrollung gebildeten Ringflansch (5) aufweist, der eine Deckelöffnung (9) umschließt, wobei die Einrollung so geformt und zu dem Ringflansch (5) flachgedrückt ist, daß die Deckelöffnung (9) kleiner ist als das ausgestanzte Blechteil und sich dessen ebener Randbereich und der Ringflansch gegenseitig überlappen, und wobei das ausgestanzte Blechteil ein Verschlußteil (3) bildet, welches zum Verschließen der Deckelöffnung (9) mit dem Ringflansch (5) durch Heißsiegeln verbunden ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Verschlußteil (3) vor dem Ausstanzen aus dem Deckelring (2) mit einer aus der Ebene (E-E) des Verschlußteiles (3) herausragenden, topfartigen Ausprägung (3b, 3c) versehen ist, die einen zwischen dem in der Ebene (E-E) liegenden, ebenen Randbereich (3a) des Verschlußteiles und einem aus der Ebene (E-E) herausgeprägten, sich im wesentlichen parallel zu dieser erstreckenden Deckelfeld (3c) liegenden Umfangsabschnitt (3b) aufweist, der sich im wesentlichen senkrecht zur Ebene (E-E) erstreckt und dessen Umrißform und -abmessungen der Umrißform und den -abmessungen der Deckelöffnung (9) so angepaßt sind, daß das Verschlußteil (3) mit seiner Ausprägung (3b, 3c) klemmend in die Deckelöffnung (9) einsetzbar ist.
  2. Dosendeckel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ausprägng (3b, 3c) bei mit dem Ringflansch (5) versiegeltem Verschlußteil (3) gegenüber der Dose (4) nach außen gerichtet ist.
  3. Dosendeckel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ausprägung (3b, 3c) bei mit dem Ringflansch (5) versiegeltem Verschlußteil zum Doseninnern gerichtet ist.
  4. Dosendeckel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 - 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Öffnungsring oder eine Öffnungslasche (11) einen Befestigungslappen (12) aufweisen und dieser durch Heißsiegeln, Kleben oder dgl. mit dem Randbereich (3a) des Verschlußteiles (3) an dessen Außenseite verbunden ist.
  5. Dosendeckel nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Befestigungslappen (12) entlang einer Biegekante (12a) umgebogen ist und sein umgebogener, freier Abschnitt mit dem Randbereich (3a) des Verschlußteiles (3) mit dessen Außenseite so verbunden ist, daß die Biegekante (12a) in der Nähe des äußeren Randes des Verschlußteiles (3) angeordnet ist und im wesentlichen parallel zu diesem verläuft.
