Ein eventueller Wechsel von Dichtungen ist auf einfachste Weise durchführbar. Ein Ausbau der Tragtrommel ist hierzu nicht mehr erforderlich. Claims (18)

  1. Winder (10) for winding a material web (14) such as, in particular, a paper or board web, onto a spool (16), in which the material web (14) is led over a carrier drum (12) which has a perforated cover and/or is provided with circumferential grooves and to which vacuum can be applied and a winding nip (18) is formed between the carrier drum (12) and the spool (16), characterized in that the carrier drum (12) can have vacuum applied to it via at least one external suction box (42) which, with at least one suction opening (44), lies opposite that circumferential region of the carrier drum (12) around which the material web (14) does not wrap and, in the region of this suction opening (44), has at least one sealing element (46, 48) that interacts with the carrier drum (12) and
    in that at least one scraper formed by a sealing element (48) is provided in the region (50) of the carrier drum (12) in which the web runs off, in order to detach the material web (14) led over the carrier drum (12) or a leader of this material web (14) from the carrier drum (12) again.
  2. Winder according to Claim 1, characterized in that at least one sealing element is formed as a sealing strip (46, 48) extending transversely with respect to the web running direction (L).
  3. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the suction box (42) is provided with sealing elements formed as sealing strips (46, 48) on both longitudinal sides running transversely with respect to the web running direction (L).
  4. Winder according to Claim 3, characterized in that the suction box (42) is sealed off on both sides by sealing strips (46, 48) that form scrapers.
  5. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least the scraper which is provided in the region (50) in which the web runs off and which is designed as a sealing strip (48) can at the same time be loaded pneumatically.
  6. Winder according to Claim 5, characterized in that the sealing strip (48) can be pressed onto the carrier drum (12) by at least one compressed-air hose (58).
  7. Winder according to Claim 5 or 6, characterized in that the sealing strip (48) can be acted on away from the carrier drum (12) by at least one compressed-air hose (56).
  8. Winder according to one of Claims 5 to 7, characterized in that the sealing strip (48) is mounted on a side wall (54) of the suction box (42) such that it can be pivoted about an axis (52) parallel to the drum axis (12) and can be acted on in opposite directions by two compressed-air hoses (56, 58).
  9. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the suction box (42) extends transversely with respect to the web running direction (L), at least substantially over the entire machine width.
  10. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the suction box can be acted on with vacuum via an internal pipe (64) which can be connected to a vacuum source (60) and is provided with suction openings (62).
  11. Winder according to Claim 10, characterized in that the internal pipe (64) extends at least substantially over the entire machine width.
  12. Winder according to Claim 10 or 11, characterized in that the suction openings (62) provided in the cover of the internal pipe (64) are provided on the side of the pipe (64) which faces the carrier drum (12).
  13. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the carrier drum (12) and the suction box (42) are subdivided appropriately in order to form an edge suction zone provided in the region of one of the two drum ends.
  14. Winder according to Claim 13 and one of Claims 10 to 12, characterized in that either only the edge suction zone or the entire suction zone extending at least substantially over the entire machine width can optionally have vacuum applied to it preferably via the internal pipe (62).
  15. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, in the region (50) in which the web runs off, a blower device (66) is provided which assists the detachment of the material web (14) or the leader of this material web (14) from the carrier drum (12).
  16. Winder according to Claim 15, characterized in that the blower device (66) is arranged on a side wall (54) of the suction box (42).
  17. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the suction opening (44) bounded by at least one sealing element (46, 48) of the suction box (42) extends over at least substantially the entire circumferential region of the carrier drum (12) around which the material web (14) does not wrap.
  18. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the carrier drum (12) is assigned a zone-controlled internal support.
