Claims (32)

  1. Winder (10) for winding a material web (14) such as in particular a paper or board web onto a spool (16), in which the material web (14) supplied over an inlet roll (24), together with a perforated supporting belt (40), is guided over a carrier drum (12) which can be evacuated, and a winding nip (18) is formed between the carrier drum (12) and the spool (16), the supporting belt (40) after the carrier drum (12) being guided over an outlet roll (42) which is arranged in the region of a broke pulper (22), into which a threading end of the material web (14) or the entire material web (14) is led away before subsequent threading onto the spool (16), characterized in that the carrier drum (12), having a perforated cover and/or provided with circumferential grooves, can be evacuated from outside in its circumferential region not wrapped around by the perforated supporting belt (40) and the material web (14).
  2. Winder according to Claim 1, characterized in that the threading end or the material web (14), before subsequent threading onto the spool (16), from the inlet roll (24) as far as the outlet roll (42), is both supported by the supporting belt (40) and is also fixed to the supporting belt (40) by vacuum being applied to the inner side of the latter.
  3. Winder according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the supporting belt (40) rests on the inlet roll (24) around which the material web (14) wraps and picks up the material web (14) in the region of this inlet roll (24).
  4. Winder according to Claim 3, characterized in that the supporting belt (40) wraps around the inlet roll (24) in the pick-up region.
  5. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the carrier drum (12) and/or the supporting belt (40) has a structured surface.
  6. Winder according to Claim 5, characterized in that the structured surface is formed by arrowhead grooves and/or the like.
  7. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a thin, flexible supporting belt (40) that adapts to the structure of the carrier drum (12) is provided.
  8. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the carrier drum (12) can have vacuum applied to it via at least one external suction box (46) which, with at least one suction opening (48), is opposite the circumferential region of the carrier drum (12) around which the supporting belt (40) and the material web (14) do not wrap and, in the region of this suction opening, is sealed off by sealing elements (50, 52) interacting with the carrier drum (12).
  9. Winder according to Claim 8, characterized in that on mutually opposite sides of the suction opening (48), sealing elements (50, 52) extending transversely with respect to the web running direction (L) are provided, which are designed in the manner of doctor blades and preferably rest flat on the carrier drum (12).
  10. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the suction box (46) extends transversely with respect to the web running direction (L) at least substantially over the entire machine width.
  11. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the suction box (46) can have a vacuum applied to it via an internal pipe (58) which is provided with suction openings (56) and can be connected to a vacuum source (44).
  12. Winder according to Claim 11, characterized in that the internal pipe (58) extends at least substantially over the entire machine width.
  13. Winder according to Claim 11 or 12, characterized in that the suction openings (56) provided in the cover of the internal pipe (58) are arranged on the side of the pipe (58) facing the carrier drum (12).
  14. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the suction belt (40) can have vacuum applied to it in the region between the inlet roll (24) and the carrier drum (12) via a suction duct (60) which is formed between the inside of the supporting belt (40) and an adjacent side wall (62) of the suction box (46) and, at its rear end, as viewed in the web running direction (L), in the region between the suction box (46) and the supporting belt (40) running onto the carrier drum (12), can have vacuum applied to it via the carrier drum (12).
  15. Winder according to Claim 14, characterized in that, at its front end as viewed in the web running direction (L), the suction duct (60) is limited by a flexible seal (64).
  16. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the suction belt (40) can have vacuum applied to it in the region between the carrier drum (12) and the outlet roll (42) via a suction duct (66) which is formed between the inside of the supporting belt (40) and an adjacent side wall (68) of the suction box (46) and, at its rear end, as viewed in the web running direction (L), in the region between the suction box (46) and the supporting belt (40) running onto the carrier drum (12), can have vacuum applied to it via the carrier drum (12).
  17. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, in the region of the outlet roll (42), a blowing device (70) assisting the separation of the material web (14) from the supporting belt (40) is provided.
  18. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the carrier drum (12) and the suction box (46) are subdivided appropriately in order to form an edge suction zone provided in the region of one of the two drum ends.
  19. Winder according to Claim 18, characterized in that, preferably via the internal pipe (58), either only the edge suction zone or the entire suction zone extending at least substantially over the entire machine width can have vacuum applied to it as desired.
  20. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the outlet roll (42) can be adjusted.
  21. Winder according to Claim 20, characterized in that the outlet roll (42) can be adjusted as desired such that the supporting belt (40) running off the carrier drum (12) wraps around the spool (16') or the reel (30) formed on the latter.
  22. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the carrier drum (12) can be moved and can be pressed against the spool (16') or the reel (30) formed on the latter.
  23. Winder according to Claim 22, characterized in that the carrier drum (12) is mounted on a carrier drum carriage (72) which can be adjusted relative to a movable base carriage (74).
  24. Winder according to Claim 23, characterized in that the carrier drum (12) can be pressed against the spool (16, 16') or the reel (30) formed on the latter via the carrier drum carriage (72) which can be adjusted relative to the base carriage (72).
  25. Winder according to Claim 24, characterized in that the movement of the carrier drum carriage (72) relative to the base carriage (74) is power-controlled.
  26. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the increase in the reel diameter can at least partly be compensated for by an appropriate displacement of the base carriage (74).
  27. Winder according to Claim 26, characterized in the movement of the base carriage (74) is travel-controlled.
  28. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the inlet roll (24) and the outlet roll (42) are positioned or can be positioned in such a way that the forces exerted on the carrier drum (12) by the supporting belt (40) and the material web (14) act at an angle of about 90° to the force with which the carrier drum (12) is pressed against the spool (16, 16') or the reel (30) formed on the latter.
  29. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the inlet roll (24) and the outlet roll (42) are mounted on the base carriage (74).
  30. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the suction box (46) is mounted such that it can be pivoted about the axis (80) of the carrier drum (12) and, at its end facing away from the carrier drum (12), is connected to the base carriage (74) via a pivot (82).
  31. Winder according to Claim 30, characterized in that the points of attachment (84, 86) of the pivot (82) are selected such that, even during a respective adjustment of the carrier drum (12) relative to the base carriage (74), the sealing of the suction box (46) and of the suction duct (60) on the inlet side, obtained via the sealing elements (50, 52) and, if appropriate, the flexible seal (64), is maintained.
  32. Winder according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a carrier drum (12) with zone-controlled internal support is provided.
