Definitions
- the invention relates to a roadway and walkway transition for expansion joints in Bridges or the like, with two edge profiles each laterally delimiting the expansion joint and if necessary between these at least one further, parallel to the Edge profiles extending lamella, being between one edge profile and the other Edge profile or the adjacent slat or between adjacent slats in each case a variable width gap is created, but the size of which is a predetermined one Do not exceed the maximum value, and also under each gap to the edge profiles parallel sealing profile strip is arranged, which seals the gap downwards and only in the sidewalk area as a hat profile strip with an upstanding central web is formed, which engages in the associated gap from below and up over essentially does not survive the plane defined by the surfaces of the edge profiles.
- hat profiles show in their middle Area that is also in the middle of the gap width, an upstanding central web on, which engages in the associated gap, for example in its central region, from below and runs up to the plane defined by the surface of the edge profiles, at least does not survive there, and thus a medium intermediate support for the people walking there in every gap.
- the object of the invention is a roadway and sidewalk transition of the type mentioned, in which a sealing profile strip in the walkway area is used as a hat profile, in such a way that in the prior art indicated disadvantage does not occur and despite the fact that in the sidewalk area Hat profile seal is used in the carriageway area except for the required gap otherwise the full joint width for the movements occurring between the Metal profiles is available.
- the roadway and sidewalk transition according to the invention can thus continue in the roadway area with the same gap widths between adjacent metal profiles as before already be interpreted.
- the joint widths are only corresponding in the walkway area the teaching of the invention increased by the width of the central web of the hat profile. To achieve this, it is not absolutely necessary to have another one in the sidewalk area Arrangement of the frame or slat profiles than in the road area.
- edge profiles and lamellas used always have an upper one, in the direction of the joint have extending transverse web, is particularly preferred for the formation of the wider gap in the area of the walkway transition, the upper crossbar of each edge profile and the upper crossbar of each slat, the latter from the middle of the slat in Direction after each of its two lateral extensions, each by half Width of the central web of the sealing profile strip is shorter than the corresponding cross web of the edge profile or lamella adjacent in the roadway area. Since the width of the central web is used in the hat seals that are usually used is about 10 mm, this means that the upper transverse flange of the edge profiles and the (Half) crossbar of the.
- the slat head is 5 mm shorter than the corresponding crossbar of the road area is trained.
- the sealing profile strip used in the invention could in principle be together consist of the same material with its central web. However, is preferred the central web made of a different material than that of the rest of the sealing profile strip made so that these parts about their hardness very specific to their respective Function can be adjusted.
- the sealing profile strip used in the invention can also be made in one piece, but from consisting of two materials, such as by coextrusion. But preferably forms the center bar is a separate component that is centered on the remaining sealing profile strips put on and fastened there appropriately.
- This remaining sealing profile strip i.e. without the middle bridge
- the central web of the sealing profile strip can be provided as a solid strand material his. However, it is preferably made hollow, so that it with the sealing profile strip together forms a closed hollow profile. This makes the center bar not only lighter and can be produced using less material, but is particularly easy to compress, if due to structural inaccuracies or heat-related tensions forces should still be applied to it by edge profiles and / or lamellae.
- the center web and the usual sealing profile strip form particularly preferably as a whole a profile that is symmetrical to the longitudinal axis and one in the central section with a tip or flattened tip pointing downwards or upwards V-shaped Training.
- a tip or flattened tip pointing downwards or upwards V-shaped Training.
- the sealing profile strip used in the invention can also be used with a Be provided headstock, which is integrally formed with it or, better, as a separate Part is formed, which is attached to the central web.
- This headstock lies with its lateral end areas from above on the mutually facing end areas the adjacent edge profile (s) or a lamella (s) sliding on, even if they are separated by the maximum gap width, and prevented so that the gap is open from above and shoe heels or similar to get into it could.
- each such metal profile (Edge profile, lamella) each have an upwardly open recess, the depth of which corresponds approximately to the (maximum) thickness of the top plate, so that the latter with a narrowed gap essentially flush with the non-recessed, upper remaining surface of the metal profile in question locks and therefore no risk of damage e.g. when using Snow removal equipment or similar given is.
- Such a sealing profile strip with web and head plate, which in the side recesses the metal profiles protrudes, is in the roadway and sidewalk transition according to the invention can be used with particular advantage, but can also be used independently of this for others Transitional structures are used.
- the head plate can be made of any suitable material and e.g. made of sheet metal be made; however, it preferably consists of vulcanized rubber, in particular made of chloroprene rubber (neoprene rubber) because of its strength.
- Fig. 1 shows the top view of a section of a bridge crossing with a Roadway 1 and a walkway 2, between which a curb 3 is formed.
- a joint transition 4 is provided transversely to the carriageway 1 and the walkway 2 Area of the walkway 2 two adjacent edge profiles 5 and in the area of Lane 1 has two adjacent edge profiles 6. Between these edge profiles 5 and 6 could, if necessary, still extend parallel to these slats (or just a lamella) can be arranged, but not shown in the figure are.
- FIG. 2 shows a sectional view corresponding to sectional position II-II from FIG. 1, while Fig. 3 shows a section along the section III-III of Fig. 1.
- the section shown in FIG. 2 through the area of the walkway 2 shows the transition construction 4 over an expansion joint 10 between two structures 11 and 12, approximately two Bridge piers or similar
- each of an upper transverse flange 5 ' which is at the upper end of a perpendicular to it, along the Joint edge extending side flange 5 "provided and welded to this is.
- the surfaces 13 of the transverse flanges 5 'of the edge profiles 5 lie in one Level with the level of the walkway 2.
- each edge profile 5 below the upper transverse flange 5 'of each edge profile 5 is a lateral end region a sealing profile strip 9 in a receiving area between the cross flange 5 'and one below it and running obliquely to it, on the side flange 5 "welded-on support web 14.
- the sealing profile strip 9 forms a cross-section to the center of the Expansion joint 10 from a symmetrical shape, with one down essentially V-shaped bulging middle section 15 forms, while above it, likewise in the central area of the sealing profile strip 9, an upwardly projecting in cross section also substantially V-shaped converging center web 8 is placed is.
- This central web 8 projects into the gap between the two edge profiles 5 in such a way that the upper boundary surface 17 of the central web 8 approximately in the Height of the surfaces 13 of the edge profiles 5 is.
- the surfaces 13 of the edge profiles 5 are flush with the covering of the walkway 2, wherein the gap S between the edge profiles 5 is divided approximately in the middle by the central web 8 becomes.
- FIG. 3 shows the same position of the edge profiles as shown in FIG. 2, here, however, in the area of the carriageway 1.
- the structural arrangement corresponds essentially 2, but here the sealing profile strip 9 does not follow has central web 8 projecting above, but the gap S 'between the edge profiles 6 is completely open here.
- the gap S 'in FIG. 3 is smaller than the gap S in FIG. 2, ie the upper transverse flanges 6' of the edge profiles 6 protrude in the area of the roadway which is shown in FIG. 3 , a little further into the expansion joint 10.
- both in the area of the lane 1 and in that of the Walkway 2 created an almost continuous surface that only with a maximum Gap is interrupted in size of the remaining joint gap, being in the area of the walkway 2 a part of this continuous surface from the surface flattened at the top 17 of the central web 8 of the sealing profile strand 9 is formed.
- FIG. 4 shows a view similar to FIG. 2 through a Transition 4 in the walkway area 2, but here at the top of the central web 8 of the sealing strip 9 another head plate 18 in a suitable manner, for example from above by screws (not shown).
- This head plate 18 lies with its side End regions in recesses 19, which are on the top of the edge profiles 5 Cross bars 5 'are embedded.
- These recesses 19 are open to the gap S and the lateral end regions of the head plate 18 slide on its surface.
- the size of the recesses 19 is chosen so that when completely retracted Edge profiles 5 between the side end faces 20 of the head plate 18 and each associated end surface 21 of the recess 19, a sufficient residual gap for the recording of expansion movements caused by heat.
- each recess 19 is selected so that, as shown in FIG. 4, it is approximately the maximum Thickness of the top plate 18 corresponds, so that when the edge profiles 5 are fully retracted a consistently flush surface between the pavement of walkway 2, which is not recessed surfaces of the edge profiles 5 and the surface of the head plate 18 becomes.
- the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 protrudes the central web 8 of the sealing profile strip 9 only up to the height in the gap S, which corresponds to the level of the bottom of the recesses 19.
- the head plate 18 can consist of a metal plate, but is preferably formed from a suitable vulcanizate, for example from a vulcanized chloroprene rubber (known under the brand name "neoprene "). As shown in FIG. 4, the head plate 18 can also be designed with a small curvature, so that its lateral end regions or their longitudinal edges each rest on the bottom of the corresponding recess 19 under a certain prestress. The apex of this arch reaches the level of the pavement surface.
