Abstract

L'invention concerne un matériau d'enregistrement possédant un substrat sous forme de plaque ou de feuille, au moins une couche absorbant les infrarouges, composée d'au moins un élément absorbant les infrarouges et d'au moins un liant polymère organique et se décomposant sous l'effet du rayonnement laser infrarouge ou se modifiant de telle sorte que son adhérence à la couche supérieure en silicone diminue, ainsi qu'une couche supérieure composée de caoutchouc de silicone durci. Ce substrat contient un métal pouvant être oxydé ou un de ses alliages, est rendu rugueux, au moins sur le côté opposé à la couche absorbant les infrarouges, et est recouvert par une couche d'un oxyde dudit métal. L'invention concerne également un procédé servant à fabriquer une plaque d'impression offset sans eau et la plaque offset elle-même fabriquée à partir du matériau d'enregistrement et dans laquelle la surface hydrophile de la couche d'oxyde est porteuse d'encre et la couche supérieure oléophobe repousse l'encre.

Claims (14)

  1. Matériau d'enregistrement comportant
    un support en plaque ou en feuille,
    une couche superficielle comprenant un caoutchouc de silicone durci, et
    au moins une couche absorbant l'infrarouge qui comprend au moins une substance absorbant l'infrarouge ainsi qu'au moins un liant organique polymère et qui se décompose sous l'action des rayons laser infrarouges ou change de telle façon que son adhérence à ladite couche superficielle de silicone diminue,
    caractérisé en ce que ledit support comporte un métal oxydable ou un de ses alliages et est grainé et recouvert d'une couche d'un oxyde dudit métal, au moins sur le côté orienté vers la couche absorbant l'infrarouge.
  2. Matériau d'enregistrement selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ledit support est grainé par voie mécanique, chimique et/ou électrochimique.
  3. Matériau d'enregistrement selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que ladite couche dudit oxyde est produite par voie électrochimique.
  4. Matériau d'enregistrement selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que ladite couche d'oxyde est poreuse.
  5. Matériau d'enregistrement selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que le poids de ladite couche d'oxyde varie entre 0,5 et 10 g/m2.
  6. Matériau d'enregistrement selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que le poids de ladite couche d'oxyde varie entre 1 et 5 g/m2.
  7. Matériau d'enregistrement selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé en ce que ladite substance absorbant l'infrarouge est un pigment, un colorant, un élément métallique ou le noir de carbone.
  8. Matériau d'enregistrement selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce que ladite couche absorbant l'infrarouge contient un liant directement ou indirectement décomposable par voie thermique.
  9. Matériau d'enregistrement selon la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce que ledit liant directement décomposable par voie thermique est le nitrate de cellulose.
  10. Matériau d'enregistrement selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 9, caractérisé en ce que le poids de ladite couche absorbant l'infrarouge varie entre 0,15 et 5 g/m2.
  11. Matériau d'enregistrement selon la revendication 10, caractérisé en ce que le poids de ladite couche absorbant l'infrarouge varie entre 0,5 et 3,5 g/m2.
  12. Procédé pour la confection d'une plaque d'impression pour offset sans eau, caractérisé en ce qu'on laisse agir suivant une image des rayons laser infrarouges sur le matériau d'enregistrement tel que défini dans l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 11 et en ce qu'on enlève ainsi les zones de la couche absorbant l'infrarouge touchées par le rayonnement conjointement avec les zones sus-jacentes de la couche superficielle.
  13. Procédé selon la revendication 12, caractérisé en ce que tout constituant de couche détaché éventuel adhérent est enlevé mécaniquement, éventuellement à l'aide d'un solvant.
  14. Plaque d'impression pour offset sans eau, caractérisée en ce qu'elle est confectionnée à partir d'un matériau d'enregistrement tel que défini dans l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 11.
