Claims (6)

  1. Mosaikplatte (P), bestehend aus einer Vielzahl identischer quadratischer Elemente (1), angeordnet in Linien und Kolonnen und durch eine elastische Folie (9) miteinander verbunden, die an der Dekorseite (10) der genannten Elemente haftet,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sämtliche Elemente (1) der genannten Platte gegenüber den genannten Linien und Kolonnen schräg sind, und zwar derart, dass
    in jeder Linie zwei benachbarte Elemente (1) symmetrisch gegenüber den Kolonnen schräg angeordnet sind und sich mit den Spitzen (1a) zweier ihrer Ecken berühren; und
    dass in jeder Kolonne zwei benachbarte quadratische Elemente symmetrisch gegenüber den Linien schräg angeordnet sind und sich mit den Spitzen (1b) zweier ihrer Ecken berühren,
    so dass
    die genannten identischen quadratischen Elemente (1) zwischen sich erste aneinandergrenzende rhombusförmige Zwischenräume (7 und 8) bilden, die ebenfalls in Form von Linien und Kolonnen verteilt sind; und
    dass diejenigen der quadratischen Elemente (1), die sich auf dem Umfang der genannten Platte befinden, eine Ecke (2) aufweisen, die nach außerhalb der Platte zeigt, so dass - wenn zwei derartige identische Platten Kante an Kante nebeneinandergelegt werden - sich die Spitzen der Ecken (2) der Umfangselemente, die sich an der Kante der Angrenzung (3 bis 6) einer der Platten befinden, jeweils mit den Spitzen der Ecken (2) der Umfangselemente in Berührung stehen, die sich an der Kante der Angrenzung (3 bis 6) der anderen Platte befinden, und dass die genannten, nebeneinandergelegten Platten zwischen sich zweite, rhombusförmige, aneinandergrenzende Zwischenräume (11 und 12) bilden, die mit den ersten genannten Zwischenräumen identisch sind und ebenfalls in Form von Linien und Kolonnen verteilt sind.
  2. Mosaikplatte nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schrägstellungswinkel der genannten quadratischen Elemente in der Größenordnung von 17,5° liegt.
  3. Mosaikplatte nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie eine allgemeine quadratische Form aufweist, mit einer gleichen Anzahl von Linien und Kolonnen, wobei die Linien ebenso viele Mosaikelemente (1) aufweisen wie die Kolonnen.
  4. Vorrichtung zur Herstellung einer Mosaikplatte, wie in einem beliebigen der Ansprüche 1 bis 3 spezifiziert,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie aus einer Tafel (15) besteht, die mit identischen quadratischen Waben (16) versehen ist, die in Linien und Kolonnen angeordnet sind und jeweils ein derartiges Mosaikelement aufnehmen sollen, und dadurch, dass sämtliche genannte Waben (16) gegenüber den genannten Linien und Kolonnen schräg angeordnet sind, so dass
    in jeder Linie zwei benachbarte Waben (16) symmetrisch gegenüber den Kolonnen schräg angeordnet sind und sich mit den Spitzen (16a) zweier ihrer Ecken berühren; und
    dass in jeder Kolonne zwei benachbarte Waben symmetrisch gegenüber den Linien schräg angeordnet sind und sich mit den Spitzen (16b) zweier ihrer Ecken berühren.
  5. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jede Wabe (16) die Form eines umgekehrten Pyramidenstumpfs mit quadratischem Querschnitt aufweist.
  6. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 4 oder 5,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die genannte Tafel (15) aus Kunstharz besteht.
