- a system of surface-active substances composed of 4 components, first the magnesium salt of alkylbenzenesulphonic acid, where the alkyl chain consists of 10-18 carbon atoms, 0.5-8% by weight of one Foaming agent, up to 10% by weight of an organic solvent, up to 10 % By weight of a hydrotrope, up to 10% by weight of one or more selected additives Complexing agent, dye, perfume oil, bactericide and preservative
- the object of the invention is a fast and a new active ingredient combination efficient cleaning effect without the appearance of streaks after cleaning as well as a preventive effect against the re-pollution of deposits and thus to solve the problem described above.
- the products in accordance with the present invention overcome the disadvantages of the known ones Glass cleaner with a composition of 10 - 25% by weight alcohol, preferably ethanol (min. 85%) or isopropanol (min. 90%), 0.1-0.5% by weight of an anionic surfactant, preferably Alkyl (preferably C12) - benzenesulfonate, sec.
- alcohol preferably ethanol (min. 85%) or isopropanol (min. 90%)
- an anionic surfactant preferably Alkyl (preferably C12) - benzenesulfonate
- Alkane sulfonate, fatty alcohol ether sulfate or fatty alcohol sulfate, non-ionic surfactants 0.1 - 0.3% by weight of fatty alcohol alkoxylate (preferably C10-C18), the both higher alkylene oxides (where C> 2) as well Contains ethylene oxide and 0.2-0.6% by weight are composed of fatty alcohol ethoxylate, a complexing agent 0.001-0.01% by weight of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid or 0.001-0.02% by weight of the trisodium salt ⁇ -alanic acid, 0-0.4% by weight of a fragrance or a natural oil, if necessary max. 0.2% by weight of an antistatic agent from organic phosphoric acid partial ester or max. 0.3% by weight of a quaternary ammonium compound with four substituents, same or different alkyl groups or a hydrogen substituent 100% by weight with demineralized water.
- fatty alcohol alkoxylate preferably C10-C18
- the products for antistatic glass cleaning or for cleaning glasses according to the invention contain 0.005-0.02% by weight organic as antistatic Phosphoric acid partial esters or 0.001 - 0.03% by weight of a quaternary Ammonium compound.
- Example 1 Depending on their solubility in water, the wash-active substances (anionic surfactant, nonionic surfactants, complexing agents) are dissolved as a 5 to a maximum of 20% solution in demineralized water. This aqueous solution is referred to below as "component A”.
- concentration data based on the concentrations in the end product 0.1-0.5% by weight optionally alkyl (C12) benzenesulfonate, secondary alkanesulfonate, fatty alcohol ether sulfate or fatty alcohol sulfate as anionic surfactant, 0.1-0.3% by weight fatty alcohol alkoxylate (preferably with 2 moles of ethylene oxide, 2 moles of propylene oxide and 1 mole of butylene oxide) and 0.2-0.6% by weight of fatty alcohol ethoxylate (preferably C10 with 5 moles of ethylene oxide) as nonionic surfactants, and 0.001-0.01% by weight of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid or 0.001- 0.02% by weight of the trisodium salt of ⁇ -alanic acid as a complexing agent dissolved in water.
- fragrance oil or natural oil as a hydrophobic component in 10 - 25% by weight (concentration based on the end product) ethanol (min. 85%) or Isopropanol (min. 90%) dissolved.
- the alcoholic solution is referred to below as "component B".
- this component can contain an antistatic of a maximum of 0.2% by weight (based on the concentration in the end product) phosphoric acid partial ester or a maximum of 0.3% by weight (based on the concentration in the end product) of a quaternary ammonium salt (preferably as chloride) with 4 of the same or different alkyl groups or three alkyl substituents and one alkyl group replaced by hydrogen.
- Component A is then stirred into component B until a clear liquid arises.
- This liquid represents the concentrate of the respective end product.
- the dilution this concentrate with demineralized water for the production of the respective Cleaning solution is usually in a ratio of 1: 3, i.e. a part of the concentrate diluted with three parts of water. All manufacturing steps are carried out at room temperature and atmospheric pressure carried out.
- the product obtained has a wide range of uses in cleaning smooth surfaces such as window glass, mirrors and the like.
- the cleaning solution is either sprayed onto the glass surface to be cleaned using a commercially available pump atomizer or applied to the surface to be cleaned using a cotton cloth which is moistened with the solution. Both methods should cover the area as completely as possible.
- the glass surface is dry-wiped with a dry cotton cloth in the second cleaning step. Re-moistening or re-soiling of the glass surface should be avoided. No further cleaning steps are required.
- the soiling is hydrophilized and in the second cleaning step, together with the aqueous phase and the majority of the alcohol phase, is completely absorbed by the cotton cloth.
- a thin layer of alcohol and perfume oil remains on the glass surface. Due to the high vapor pressure of the alcohol as a carrier substance, this thin layer evaporates without residue within a few seconds. After the cleaning process has ended, the scent impression of the perfume oil used only remains in the vicinity of the cleaned glass surface. This cleaning mechanism is new in itself.
- Example 2 Component A is prepared as described in Example 1.
- Component B is also produced as in Example 1, but is different the addition of surface-active substances, the antistatic, prescribed. So be 0.01 - 0.04% by weight (based on the concentration in the end product) fragrance oil or natural oil together with 0.005 - 0.02% by weight (based on the concentration in the end product) partial phosphoric acid ester or 0.001 - 0.03% by weight of the quaternary ammonium salt (as in Example 1 described) in the corresponding amount of alcohol specified in the recipe (10 - 25 wt.% Of the end product) dissolved. Components A and B are then mixed.
- the cleaning solution obtained in this way in Example 2 for antistatic cleaning of glass surfaces implements a preventive treatment of glass surfaces such as computer monitors, television screens, inside of the windshield in automobiles and other surfaces with high deposits.
- the cleaning solution is either in the first cleaning step with a commercially available Pump sprayer sprayed onto the glass surface to be cleaned or using a cotton cloth, which is moistened with the solution, applied to the surface to be cleaned. Both methods should cover the area as completely as possible.
- After a short exposure time usually 20 seconds with normal contamination)
- the glass surface in the second cleaning step with a dry cotton cloth wiped dry. A rewetting or re-contamination of the Glass surface to be avoided. No further cleaning steps are required.
- the cleaning effect of the antistatic product in Example 2 corresponds to that of the product in Example 1.
- the additional incorporated antistatic agent during the exposure time and evaporation phase affects the glass surface such that prevention against rapid re-pollution is guaranteed.
- the antistatic remains in a small amount together with the alcohol and fragrance oil in a thin layer the surface.
- Example 3 Component A is prepared as described in Example 1.
- Component B is produced by adding the antistatic agents to that in Example 2 specified amount of 10-25% by weight (based on the end product) of alcohol.
- the oily Component can have a concentration of up to 0.4% by weight (based on the end product) optionally added. The two components are then joined together mixed.
- the cleaning solution in Example 3 is used for cleaning and preventive treatment of uncoated and coated lenses.
- the cleaning solution is either sprayed onto the spectacle lens using a commercially available pump atomizer or applied to the spectacle lens using a cotton cloth which is moistened with the solution. Both methods should cover the area as completely as possible.
- the glasses are wiped dry with a dry cotton cloth in the second cleaning step. Re-moistening or re-soiling of the glass surface should be avoided. No further cleaning steps are required.
- the excellent cleaning effect of the cleaning solution is based on the synergistic interaction of the components (surfactants, solvents and complexing agents).
- the intermediate formation of a microemulsion can be dispensed with due to the small surface area to be cleaned.
- the incorporated antistatic agent influences the surface of the lens during the exposure time and evaporation phase (the antistatic agent remains to a small extent together with the alcohol in the thin residual layer) in such a way that prevention of rapid re-soiling is guaranteed (up to 10 days until Occurrence of renewed contamination).
- There is no impairment of visual acuity or an attack on the polymer coating of the spectacle lens e.g. through penetration of the cleaning solution into the pores of the coating or the like).
