Description
Eine optimale Klemmung des Messers läßt sich gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform dadurch erreichen, daß die Klemmleiste mit ihrem der Keilfläche gegenüberliegenden Ende in der Umfangsausnehmung an einer im wesentlichen tangentenparallelen Klemm- und Schiebefläche mit der Messertrommel kontaktiert und durch im wesentlichen radial zur Messertrommel ausgerichtete Spannbolzen sowie quer dazu ausgerichtete Druckbolzen beaufschlagbar ist. Auf diese Weise ergibt sich ein relativ langes auskragendes Ende der Klemmleiste, welches unter Einwirkung der Klemm- und Stellkräfte von Spannbolzen und Druckbolzen über die Keilfläche auf das Messer schiebend und klemmend einwirkt.
Alternativ kann die formschlüssige Verbindung auch durch eine die Messerrückseite beaufschlagende Anschlagstufe der Klemmleiste gebildet werden.
In konsequenter Weiterbildung der neuartigen Klemm- und Stellmittel kann das Messer bevorzugt auch als eine relativ dünne Wandstärke aufweisendes Einwegmesser ausgebildet sein.
Darüber hinaus sind Material- und Gewichtseinsparungen nach einem weiteren Vorschlag dadurch möglich, daß in Verbindung mit einer als Kunststoffwelle (CFK-Welle) ausgebildeten Messertrommel die für die Messerhalterung und - verstellung relevanten Spann- und Führungsflächen an in die Messertrommel eingelassenen Metalleisten vorgesehen sind.

Das als relativ dünnes Einwegmesser ausgebildete Messer 6 wird durch die durch die hintere Druckbeaufschlagung der Klemmleiste 17 unter Überwindung der hinteren Spannkraft der Spannbolzen 18 bewirkte elastische Querverformung des relativ langen vorderen Endes der Klemmleiste 17 entlang der Anlagefläche 19 nach außen vorgeschoben.
Claims (6)
- Messertrommel für Maschinen zum Querschneiden von Materialbahnen, insbesondere Papier- oder Kartonbahnen, mit in Umfangsausnehmungen der Messertrommel liegend angeordneten, gegen eine Anlagefläche der Umfangsausnehmungen festklemmbaren sowie entlang der Anlagefläche einstellbaren Messern, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine im wesentlichen tangentenparallele Klemm- und Schiebefläche (27) vorgesehen ist, zu welcher die Anlagefläche (19) geneigt verläuft und das mit seiner einen Breitseite mit der Anlagefläche (19) eine Gleitflächenführung bildende Messer (6) auf der Gegenbreitseite form- oder reibschlüssig mit einer parallel zur Anlagefläche verlaufenden Keilfläche (23) einer durch Spannbolzen (18) arretierbaren und durch Druckbolzen (26) verschieb-baren Klemmleiste (17) in Wirkverbindung steht.
- Messertrommel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Klemmleiste (17) mit ihrem der Keilfläche (23) gegenüberliegenden Ende in der Umfangsausnehmung (16) an der Klemm- und Schiebefläche (27) mit der Messertrommel (3) kontaktiert und durch im wesentlichen radial zur Messertrommel ausgerichtete Spannbolzen (18) sowie quer dazu ausgerichtete Druckbolzen (26) beaufschlagbar ist.
- Messertrommel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die formschlüssige Verbindung durch eine in eine Nut (21) des Messers (6) eingreifende, aus der Keilfläche (23) der Klemmleiste (17) vorspringende Nase (22) gebildet wird.
- Messertrommel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die formschlüssige Verbindung durch eine die Messerrückseite beaufschlagende Anschlagstufe (128) der Klemmleiste (117) gebildet wird.
- Messertrommel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Messer (6) als Einwegmesser ausgebildet ist.
- Messertrommel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in Verbindung mit einer als Kunststoffwelle (CFK-Welle) ausgebildeten Messertrommel (203) die für die Messerhalterung und -verstellung relevanten Spann- und Führungsflächen (219, 227) an in die Messertrommel eingelassenen Metalleisten vorgesehen sind.
