Definitions
- Double bag for applying a fluid substance, in particular a nutrient solution with an inner bag for holding the fluid substance and an outer bag which has at least two bag edges to be converged, the fluid substance Opening of the inner bag is at least partially convertible into the outer bag.
- Such bags are known for example from DE 196 00 530.2.
- the generic Bags are particularly used for the storage and administration of industrially manufactured Nutrient solutions used.
- the nutrient solutions are applied, for example, via probe systems Patients who are given the usual food intake after an operation Intervention is not possible.
- the nutrient solutions typically contain substances that led to the maintenance of life proteins, fats, carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins and Trace elements.
- a plastic or foil bag provides a nutrient solution over the conventional one Glass containers provide much better protection. When emptying the container there is no need to fill up the remaining volume with air, rather it shrinks the bag with its emptying
- the object of the present invention is based on the state mentioned at the beginning the technique in creating a double bag in which the flow of the fluid substance is improved through the double bag.
- a key concept of the present invention is that the outer dimension of the inner bag is shortened in length and width compared to the inner dimension of the outer bag in such a way that two converging pouch edges of the outer pouch remain free from the inner pouch and a free flood zone along the pouch edges between the inner and outer Bag is defined.
- the free flooding area causes the fluid substance to pour into the free flooding area when the inner bag is opened, thereby producing a type of surge which causes the liquid level in the outer bag to rise rapidly along the outer walls of the inner bag guaranteed.
- the free flooding area therefore provides a kind Initial surge "which keeps the lower area of the outer bag away from the outer wall of the inner bag from below and thus ensures a largely unimpeded rise in the liquid level in the outer bag.
- At least one edge of the outer bag is preferably designed as a rounded edge, so that the free flooding area along this edge of the bag is still enlarged due to the rounded design.
- the tapered bag edges therefore do not have to be sharp-edged, but as rounded edges can further increase the free flooding area between the inner and outer bags and the formation of the
- the rounded bag edge is at the same time a sight glass with a scale in order to be able to check the nature and level of the fluid substance.
- the inner bag expediently becomes eccentric in the outer bag fixed.
- the eccentric fixation happens in such a way that the inner bag is related to the Position of use of the double bag is arranged in the outer bag shifted upwards.
- the double bag is preferably substantially rectangular corner of the bag formed on the or in the immediate vicinity of an outlet device for removing the fluid substance the double bag is attachable.
- the double bag according to the invention is preferably emptied at a corner where residual amounts of the fluid substance are located can collect so that with appropriate suspension or storage of the bag a independent, essentially complete emptying is guaranteed.
- the outlet device is accordingly with a practical, smallest possible distance to the corner of the bag attachable. Only glue or weld seams between the wall of the outer bag and the outlet device.
- the inner bag expediently also has a bag corner on or in the corner thereof immediate proximity it can be opened in the application. With appropriate suspension of the Double bag converges the fluid substance in this corner of the bag and can therefore be practical be completely emptied.
- the bag corners of the inner bag provided for emptying have an advantageous effect and the emptying area of the outer bag together, so that neither in the inner bag in the outer bag when emptying the double bag, significant residual quantities remain behind and the emptying takes place completely independently.
- the Bag corner of the inner bag facing the emptying area of the outer bag.
- the opening device comprises in a concrete embodiment, an impressionable tapping dome that has at least one Pouch wall of the inner bag pierces and for a sufficient opening for emptying of the inner bag.
- the inner bag could also be done in a different way be opened.
- the inner bag preferably in the area of A predetermined breaking point can be provided in the corner of the bag, which tears to sufficient pressure and causes the inner bag to open.
- the opening device would also be conceivable modify it to separate the corner of the bag, making it even more complete would ensure leakage of the fluid substance.
- the opening device for the inner bag and the outlet device for the outer bag spaced apart, so that in the position of use, the outlet device of the outer bag below the Opening device or the opening point of the inner bag is located.
- the Opening device and / or the outlet device is independent of the bag as independently considered inventive aspect.
- the inner bag 11 is a preferred embodiment for an inner bag 11 and one outer bag 12 double bag shown. Both the inner bag 11 and the outer bag 12 is also rectangular in the illustration shown.
- the inner bag 11 here consists of a plastic-metal laminate and is both light and designed to be gas-impermeable.
- the inner bag has an unsealed bag edge 38. All other edges of the inner bag 11 are assigned sealing seams 26, 27, 28, the one of which is not sealed Bag edge 38 opposite sealing seam 27 simultaneously on the inner bag 11 provided fin 32 limits that for fastening the inner bag 11 in the outer Bag 12 is provided.
- the fin 32 can be welded at 33, 34, 35 on the outside Secure bag 12 so that inner bag 11 is in a fixed position in outer bag 12 is held. This procedure allows a safe and perfect fluid tightness Sealing the outer pouch 12. Beyond that, the nutrient solution becomes no more exposed to thermal stress. Would both fix and seal the outer bag 12 on the sealed seam of the inner bag 11 could occur Leaks result because two or four sheets of foil sometimes close during the welding process would be sealed. Because of these different thicknesses, the transition from two to four sheets of film leakage occur.
- the outer bag 12 also has an unsealed bag edge 13. All further Bag edges are also provided on the outer bag 12 with sealing seams, which with the Reference numerals 29, 30, 31 are designated. That of the unsealed bag edge 13 opposite sealing seam 30 is outside the inner bag 11, next to the fin 32 of the inner bag 11 arranged.
- the upper sealing seam in the use position of the double bag 29 is a particularly wide sealing seam with a width of 8 to 20 mm, preferably with a width of about 14 mm.
- In the upper sealing seam 29 in the position of use outer bag 12 is a preferably circular or omega-shaped suspension opening 37 punched out.
- the outer bag 12 is preferably at least over areas of one of its side walls 62 also transparent over areas of two side walls, so that the level and nature of the Checked fluid substance transferred from the inner bag 11 into the outer bag 12 can be.
- the outer bag 12 can especially in the upper area in the use position be printed.
- such partial printing provides up to a limit line 64, there is a transparent within the printing Viewing window 63 is provided, which provides a view of a film area of the inner bag 11 enables.
- a control or Production number must be attached. This means that after filling and testing the inner bag on this test number attached even after installation in the outer Bags 12 can be read from the outside.
- the outer dimension of the inner bag 11 is compared to the inner dimension of the outer bag downsized so that along the bag edges 13, 14 of the outer bag 12 between the inner bag 11 and outer bag 12 a free flooding area 15, 16 is defined.
- the inner bag 11 is opposite the outer bag 12 fixed eccentrically, namely in the direction of the suspension opening 37 of the outer bag 12 the central position shifted.
- An opening point 20 is defined on the inner bag 11, at which the inner bag is to be opened in the application.
- To open the inner bag 11 is in the illustrated embodiment one on the wall of the inner bag 11 on the Opening device 20 acting opening device 21 is provided, which on the outer bag 12th is appropriate.
- the opening point 20 of the inner bag 11 has a bag corner 19, in the immediate vicinity of which the opening point 20 is provided.
- the bag corner 19 is preferably the farthest from the hanging opening 37 spaced area of the inner bag 11.

- the board 22 with the on it arranged opening device 21 and the outlet device 18 is connected to the wall of the outer bag 12 welded fluid-tight.
- the inner bag 11 becomes at the opening point 20 opened and the fluid substance located in the inner bag 11 is at least partially transferred to the outer bag.
- FIG. 2a the double bag is with unopened, filled inner bag 11 shown.
- the inner wall of the outer bag 12 lies at least partially on the outer wall of the inner bag 11.
- FIG. 2b shows the state after the opening device 21 has been actuated.
- the fluid Substance pours out of the inner bag 11 into the free flooding area 15, 16 the surge or the flow of the fluid substance, the inner bag 11 quickly becomes thinner.
- the walls of the outer pouch become somewhat less, at least in the lower area pressed outside, so that from the free flooding area 15, 16 forth the fluid substance between the walls of the inner bag 11 and the outer bag 12 can rise rapidly. Adhesion effects between the walls of the inner and outer pouch find practical no more instead. With the arrangement made, the inner bag 11 literally collapses. Due to the principle of communicating tubes, the fluid substance flows quickly into the outer one Bag 12 a.
- the fluid substance takes the one shown in FIG. 2c within an extremely short time Equilibrium state in which the liquid levels in the inner bag 11 and outer Bags 12 are substantially the same.
- the state of equilibrium is reproducible a, so that on the transparent outer bag 12 a scale for checking and checking the Amount of liquid can be attached.
- Fig. 2d the double bag is shown in a state in which the fluid substance through the Outlet device 18 (see FIG. 1) flows out.
- the liquid level in the inner bag 11 and outer bag 12 substantially evenly, the Double bag contracts simultaneously, so that the fluid substance without the suction of air occurs or would be necessary to flow out of the double bag.
- Fig. 2e the emptied double bag is shown, the in the bag corner 19 of the inner bag 11 and that remaining in the emptying area 17 of the outer bag 12 Residual amount of fluid substance is negligible.
- Inner bag 11 and outer bag 12 empty themselves practically completely without external influence.
- the bottom of the outer bag 12 visible expansion of the bag comes through with the wall of the outer bag 12 welded board 22.
- the board 22 holds the walls of the outer bag 12 apart in the emptying area 17.
- FIGS. 3a to 3d illustrates, for a better understanding of the intrinsically not transparent inner bag 11 is shown transparently. Also in this sketchy representation is the Volume change of the double bag in the different states is not taken into account. It above all, the flooding of the outer bag 12 when the inner bag 11 is opened starting from the free flooding area 15, 16 along the walls of the inner bag 11 are illustrated.
- the double bag is aligned in the position of use, so that the Sealing seam 29 of the outer bag of the suspension opening 37 at the top and the outlet device 18 is arranged below.
- the opening point 20 of the inner bag is also on the inner bag covered at the lowest possible point.
- the fluid substance runs at Emptying the double bag in the bag corner 19 of the inner bag and the Emptying area 17 of the outer bag funnel-like together and can be practical be completely emptied.
- FIGS. 3a to 3d Fixation of the inner bag 11 in the outer bag 12 via the fin 32, which at several Weld spots 33, 34, 35 is connected to the outer bag 12.
- FIGS. 4a to 4e illustrate again the top view of the one already explained above How the double bag works. 4a, the fluid substance is in the unopened interior Bag 11 enclosed and against external influences by a preferably light and gas-impermeable wall first protected by the outer bag 12. Opposite the The environment is two-fold, namely through the wall of the inner bag 11 and protected the wall of the outer bag 12.
- 4c shows the double bag in a state in which the level of the fluid Substance between inner bag 11 and outer bag 12 has compensated for what the free flooding areas 15, 16 and the special position of the inner bag 11 in the outer Bag 12 happens extremely quickly.
- Fig. 4d the bag is shown in a state in which a part of the fluid substance is removed via the outlet device 18 of the outer bag 12.
- the bag is shown in a state in which the fluid substance is practical completely leaked out of the inner bag 11 and the outer bag 12 independently is.
- the in the bag corner 19 of the inner bag and the emptying area 17 of the outer Bags remaining are marginal.
- almost complete Leakage of the double bag can be done with the known solutions according to the prior art Technology does not achieve and is also an essential aspect of the present Invention.
- the opening device 21 is in a preferred embodiment arranged together with the outlet device 18 on a common circuit board 22.
- the Board 22 can be formed as a one-piece injection molded part made of plastic.
