Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour incorporer des matières grasses dans des produits alimentaires granulés pour animaux, par ex. des extrudats, des pastilles, des pastilles expansées etc., avec un liquide fournisseur de graisse. Les pastilles produites dans l'extrudeuse ou dans la zone d'expansion de la presse (4) sont séchées dans une unité de séchage (5) puis passent par un contenant intermédiaire (10) avant d'arriver à un mélangeur (12). Au moyen d'une pompe de dosage (18), une quantité prédéterminée de liquide fournisseur de graisse est incorporée dans le mélangeur (12) et répartie à la surface des particules de produit lors du processus de mélange. Après une période prédéterminée, une pompe à vide (20) produit une dépression dans le mélangeur de façon à évacuer l'air se trouvant dans les capillaires ou les pores des particules de produit. La dépression dans le mélangeur (12) est ensuite supprimée par une soupape de détente (21) de sorte que l'air pénétrant dans le mélangeur et dans les pores ou les capillaires des particules de produit transporte le liquide fournisseur de graisse se trouvant à la surface des particules ainsi que du liquide fournisseur de graisse supplémentaire dans les pores ou les capillaires jusqu'à ce que ces derniers soient remplis de façon à ce qu'une proportion élevée d'environ 30 % de liquide fournisseur de graisse soit liée dans les pores ou les capillaires des particules de produit. Une fois ce processus achevé, le produit est introduit dans un contenant intermédiaire (14) d'où il est distribué en tant que produit final au moyen d'un élément de distribution et de dosage.
