  • the invention relates to an adapter according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a fitters is set up in an installation opening of an installation body to be installed.
  • the installation body is in most cases a wall or ceiling with an installation opening in which the recessed luminaire sinks can be installed.
  • point known recessed lights in many cases have a collar-like protruding edge part, that covers the edge of the installation opening.
  • the installation body is a suspended ceiling

  • Recessed luminaire When installing a recessed luminaire, the requirement arises in many cases Recessed luminaire with regard to their height arrangement, it being both about an overall attitude as well as a partial attitude in the sense a tilting movement can act.
  • the abutments of the holding means are infinitely adjustable in height.
  • it is this requires loosening a clamping screw, vertically adjusting the abutment and then tighten the clamp screw again.
  • 16 of DE 195 20 177 A1 shown known configuration is a vertical adjusting spindle turn, which adjusts the abutment in a vertical guide.
  • a holding means for fastening a receiving housing is one Recessed luminaire on beam-shaped beams of a ceiling described.
  • the holding means is with an upright and different on the lamp housing Luminaire legs that can be attached to the height positions and the installation gap bridging support section which can be fastened to the carrier has an angular design, wherein the support section in the area of the installation gap consists of two parts, which in one connector horizontally pluggable and plugged together Position can be fixed.
  • Several are used to fasten the support section to the carrier Mandrels, which are in two rows extending in the longitudinal direction of the support section are arranged, the extending in the longitudinal direction of the support portion The distance between the mandrels is smaller than the width of the carrier.
  • the holding means is suitable for Attachment to the support with different sized installation gaps, always one Mandrel is arranged in the region of the carrier.

On Means that a lateral positioning when attaching the holding means to the carrier of the holding means is not available in this known embodiment.
  • the invention has for its object to find a configuration that a Adaptation of the holding means or the recessed luminaire to different installation openings Cross-sectional sizes allowed.
  • an adapter with a gap-reducing part provided that an adjustment in the plane of the installation opening and thus to the Cross-sectional dimension of the installation opening on different constructions or Suspensions of the built-in body or the ceiling or the wall allows.
  • an adapter which is in a position on the outside of the holding means a holding element can be connected to the holding means and has a gap-reducing part, whose outer side surface forms a positioning surface that the edge of Installation opening is opposite and thereby the specified position of the form Recessed light in the recess ensures that the recessed light in the Installation opening cannot slip sideways.
  • the one in the plane of the installation opening outer boundary surface of the adapter forms with the outer surface of the holding means step dimension running in the width direction, which shows a size difference between corresponds to two different installation openings.
  • the arrangement can be such that the smaller installation opening Holding means with an outer surface as a boundary surface one with the opening edge cooperating positioning surface, which is determined by the fact that the Outer surface of the holding means taking into account an installation movement play located at the opening edge of the installation opening.
  • the outer surface of the holding means With a larger installation opening points the outer surface of the holding means a laterally outward distance from Edge of the installation opening, this difference in width due to the Gap reducing part of the adapter is compensated.
  • This is achieved in that the Outer surface of the spacer when the adapter is mounted on the holding means on or in close to the opening edge of the installation opening and thereby the positioning surface forms a lateral displacement of the Recessed light in the installation opening prevented by a stop at the opening edge.
  • the spacer with regard to the desired installation height by cutting to the desired height. This can cut to length be simplified and relieved that at predetermined step distances from each other e.g. there are tapered material tapering on the spacer that cutting to length, e.g. by cutting, simplifying.
  • the adapter is releasably attachable, it is possible to mount the recessed light again to convert that it fits into the corresponding smaller installation opening.
  • the adapters With elongated lights such as fluorescent tubes, it is possible to refer to the adapters the vertical longitudinal median plane of the recessed luminaire on one or both sides to arrange. In both cases, the advantages described above can be achieved. At a one-sided arrangement results in a somewhat laterally offset arrangement the recessed luminaire in the recess, but this is irrelevant if one centric arrangement is not absolutely necessary. In contrast, there is one mutual arrangement of the adapters a centered in the associated installation opening Arrangement for the recessed light.
  • the recessed luminaire When installing a recessed luminaire, the recessed luminaire must be connected firmly the installation opening edge because of loosening in the fastening Noises can arise from vibrations or rattling of the recessed light. Loosening in the attachment can be due to long-term effects and due to Material shrinkage occurs.

  • the spring element 95 fulfills only one spring or clamp function and no distance function.
  • the spring leg parts 98a are located below the Cover part 7a, while the inner spring leg parts 98b form positioning parts 73, which are at or near the edge of the installation opening and with their Outside 98b1 form boundary surfaces.
  • the spring part 95 can also be located in the outer or inner row R here are located.
  • FIG. 21 shows the spring element 95 in the first row of fastenings R and a basic position shown in FIG. 20, the outer Spring leg parts 98a are arranged clamping under the mounting rail 67 and the inner spring leg parts 98b form spacers 73.
  • the base web 97 is preferably somewhat concave with respect to its contact side 102 bent or the apices 104 are bent out. As a result, the spring element 95 lies with spring tension on the support leg 24a, and it becomes a firm or clamping effective snap fit achieved.
