Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Kühl- und Schmiermittelführung für Brennkraftmaschinen. Bei Brennkraftmaschinen ist es üblich, Kühl- und Schmiermittel zunächst über Kanäle im Kurbelgehäuse zu führen und vom Kurbelgehäuse über Durchtritte in der Zylinderkopfdichtung in den Zylinderkopf zu leiten. Erfindungsgemäß werden diese Durchtritte durch die Zylinderkopfdichtung 4 vermieden, indem an einer der Stirnseiten des Motors ein Verteilerstück 5 vorgesehen wird, über welches Kühl- und Schmiermittel dem Kurbelgehäuse 2 und dem Zylinderkopf 3 getrennt zugeführt wird. Das Kühlmittel wird über Kühlwasserzulaufkanäle 6a, 6b zu- und über Kühlwasserablaufkanäle 10a, 10b abgeführt. Das Öl wird über Ölzulaufbohrungen 7a, 7b zu- und über Ölablaufbohrungen 9a, 9b abgeführt. Durch die stirnseitige Zu- bzw. Abfuhr von Kühl und Schmiermittel entfalten alle zu Leckagen neigenden Durchtritte durch die Zylinderkopfdichtung 4, welche allein auf die Funktion der Brennraumabdichtung hin optimiert werden kann.
