Definitions

  • the invention relates to a container closure, a container and a combination of a container closure and a container according to the preamble of the independent claims.
  • closures for closing a container are used in industrial bottling plants with a high hourly output placed on the container to be closed. Independently whether it's snap or screw closures , the installation processes are essentially the same Elements.
  • the closures are made by a so-called Hopper issued and through a handover facility to the Mouths of the rapidly passing containers set. In The closures will be the next step depending on the type pressed or screwed onto the container mouth.
  • closures can Place on the container mouth or tilt due to the high speed of the container from the container mouth jump before they are pressed on or screwed on.
  • Plastic snap locks are proposed, for example which have flexible tabs on the inside have, by means of which the closure on a container mouth can be held. Because of their flexibility however, these tabs only allow inadequate retention the closure before actually putting it on the Container mouth, in particular is a jumping or tilting the closure in filling plants with such tabs still possible.
  • a closure is known from AU-A-519 377, which has two Projections under two projections of a container mouth takes hold. The two projections of the container come at the same time in engagement with the projections of the closure cap. The problem of the lock tilting or coming off during the touchdown process is also not addressed here and solved.
  • the object of the invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the known avoid, especially a container closure and / or to create a container, which a jumping off or tilting of container closures in filling systems reliably prevented.
  • the closures according to the invention and containers are also said to be in conventional bottling plants can be used without any problems and can be produced in a rational manner his.
  • a closure for a container has a closure base and a closure jacket. On the inside of the closure jacket retention elements are attached, which at The container is closed by the closure with retaining elements can be engaged at the mouth of the container are.
  • the retaining elements can be (preferably multiple threads) or around retaining beads Act snap lock.
  • the closure jacket has also auxiliary restraining means, which with the Container mouth can be brought into engagement.
  • auxiliary restraining means are preferably the retaining elements at the mouth area of the container used - but it is also conceivable, in addition to the Retaining elements at the container mouth additional holding means to be provided or the closure using the auxiliary retaining elements simply non-positively on the container mouth to press.
  • the auxiliary retention elements are when the closure is put on on the container with the container neck and / or his Retaining means can be brought into engagement before the retaining elements of the closure with the retaining elements of the container mouth engage.
  • the auxiliary retention elements and the retaining elements each have a stop that with a surface of the retaining elements of the container mouth in Intervention can be brought.
  • the lock is thereby in one first intermediate position on both sides in the axial direction the position of the container mouth is limited.
  • Essential here is that the auxiliary restraint devices are constructed in such a way that the force required to apply is less than when actually closing. Then the clasp screwed on, is to be applied by means of Auxiliary restraint means one acting on a closure Contact force and a torque required for screwing on.
  • a construction with such auxiliary restraint devices is especially at Plastic closures with elastic wall advantageous.
  • the Auxiliary retention elements are caused by elastic deformation of the Closure jacket and / or by its own elastic Deformation snapped onto the mouth.
  • the stop of the auxiliary restraint is on his, the Bottom side facing the cap arranged during the stop of the restraint on its facing away from the cap bottom Side is arranged. Lie in the intermediate position the retention elements of the container mouth between the two Stops, causing the locking position in the axial direction is limited on both sides.
  • a particularly effective stop for the auxiliary restraint is achieved when the auxiliary restraint is used as material accumulation formed on the inside of the closure jacket are. An accumulation of material becomes a stop formed, which in contrast to flexible tabs Jump off the lock effectively in the intermediate position opposes.
  • a particularly advantageous use of the retaining elements results in combination with snap locks.
  • Such Snap closures point to the inside of the closure jacket a circumferential and approximately parallel to the lock bottom extending bead on.
  • the one that serves as a retaining element Bead is closed when the container is closed appropriately shaped bead snapped onto the container mouth. Thanks to the auxiliary restraint, the snap lock during the installation process before actually snapping on with less grip on the retention bead the container mouth. This will reliable jumping or tilting of the closure avoided.
  • Auxiliary restraint devices in combination are similarly advantageous with multi-start threads as retention elements.
  • the one with Auxiliary retention device provided screw cap is in snapped onto the multi-start thread in a first step and thus positioned precisely in relation to the thread. Then the screw cap can be screwed on, or in the case of a snap-on and unscrewable closure to be snapped up.
  • the stop of the multi-start thread is through the thread inlet on the side of the Thread formed.
  • the retaining bead When using snap locks with a retaining bead the retaining bead preferably has interruptions on. These interruptions increase the flexibility of the Closure jacket and thereby facilitate the placement process.
  • a particularly simple embodiment results when as an auxiliary restraint from the inside of the sealing jacket protrusions used radially inward become.
  • These projections can be made with the retaining elements the container mouth are engaged, these Retaining elements function as described above Meet the holding device.
  • the protrusions must be dimensioned in this way be that to overcome the auxiliary restraint force required is less than the force to actual closing. This can be done, for example happen that the auxiliary restraint means a larger one Define inner diameter as the retention elements.
  • ledges that are only extend over a small angular range.
  • a particularly favorable embodiment results when the retaining bead of a snap lock interruptions has, each in alignment with one of these recesses an auxiliary restraint in the form of a protrusion Projection is attached.
  • the tabs need to be before the retaining bead in engagement with the retaining elements step on the container mouth, between the retaining bead and the free end of the closure jacket.
  • the auxiliary restraint means are preferably adjacent to the free edge of the closure jacket arranged. This gives a material-saving construction of the closure.
  • auxiliary restraining means are reliably avoided preferably axially symmetrical about the Scope of the closure jacket arranged, at least two and preferably about four to six auxiliary restraint devices in the form of protrusions.
  • auxiliary restraint devices which just like the retaining elements are attached to the inside of the closure jacket and which interact with the retaining elements of a container. But it is conceivable to have the same result with others
  • auxiliary restraining devices that engage with specially designed holding devices at the container mouth can be brought.
  • closures with an inner seal on the inner seal with Auxiliary restraint devices are provided, which engage with Holding means can be brought on the inside of the container mouth are.
  • auxiliary restraint devices on Auxiliary restraint closure in the area of a container mouth can also be provided.
  • Analog embodiments lead here as with the closure described above particularly beneficial results.
  • the auxiliary restraint can protrude from the outer surface of the container mouth Projections be formed.
  • the protrusions are between the edge of the container mouth and the retaining elements the container mouth (i.e. between a retaining bead or the top of a thread and the edge of the container mouth) arranged. So that to apply the auxiliary restraint required force is less than the closing force or the closing torque, the Auxiliary restraint (in the preferred embodiment, the projections projecting outwards) are particularly dimensioned become.
  • a simple design results when the protrusions an outer diameter on the container mouth define that is smaller than that by the retention elements of the container defined outer diameter.
  • the stop of the auxiliary restraining means of the container mouth is in this case on the side facing away from the container opening the projections arranged.
  • the stop of the retaining elements the container mouth is through that facing the container opening Formed side of the retaining elements.
  • the size of the adhesion can also be determined by define the angular range over which the auxiliary restraint means, i.e. the projections extend. The smaller the segments are held, the smaller the Pressing force required.
  • the container mouth is the retaining bead preferably train all round.
  • the arrangement of Recesses (as in the case of the closure) would be excluded saving material does not bring any major advantages.
  • the auxiliary restraining means (protrusions) for this reason in Reference to the container can be arranged as desired. It recommends However, in this case too, at least two, preferably four to six projections, preferably axially symmetrical to be arranged to the container axis.
  • An essential basic idea of the invention is therefore in that apart from the retention elements on one Closure and a container mouth, which the fastening of the closure on the container mouth allow auxiliary restraining devices arranged on the closure and / or the container mouth are, which with holding means at the container mouth and / or the closure can be brought into engagement.
  • the auxiliary restraint device with the restraint device in one Intermediate position engage before the restraining elements of the closure and the container mouth with each other Intervention.
  • the restraining elements and the auxiliary restraining means each have a stop, which the closure in this intermediate position on both sides in the axial direction the container mouth holds.
  • the two stops are in the intermediate position on both sides of the holding means and limit so the axial movement of the closure.
  • the intervention of the Auxiliary restraint should also advantageously be designed in this way be that the force required for the application is smaller than the closing force or the closing torque.
  • the clasp In a method of closing a container mouth with a clasp, the clasp is in a first Step placed on the container mouth and on this in attached to an intermediate position. To attach the closure in this intermediate position there is a first pressing force spent.
  • the locking position is in the axial Direction limited on both sides.
  • the closure is closed a second pressing force (or a screwing torque) pressed into a second, sealing position.
  • the first contact force is chosen smaller than the second contact pressure. Because the closure is already in the intermediate position held on the container mouth becomes reliable jumping off or tilting of the closure before application the second pressing force prevented.
  • Figure 1 shows a closure 1 according to the invention, which in an intermediate position P1 on a container mouth 8 a Container 2 is placed.
  • the closure has a closure base 3 and one attached to it, down extending closure jacket 4.
  • On the inside of the Closure jacket 4 are retaining elements 6 attached with retaining elements 7 on the outside of the container mouth 8 can be brought into engagement.
  • the retaining elements 6 on the inside 5 of the closure jacket 4 are replaced by a circumferential, approximately parallel to the closure bottom 3 Bead formed. The bead is due to individual interruptions 17 interrupted, the flexibility of the closure jacket 4th increase.
  • the retaining elements 7 of the container mouth 8 are also by a circumferential bead on the outside the container mouth 8 formed.
  • the closure 1 has auxiliary restraining means on the inside 10, which also with the retaining elements 7 the container mouth 8 can be brought into engagement.
  • the Auxiliary restraint means 10 are as from the inside 5 of the Closure jacket 4 radially inwardly projecting projections educated.
  • the auxiliary restraint means have a stop 13 on the side facing the cap base 3 is arranged.
  • the retaining elements 6 have the Cap base 3 facing away from a stop 14.
  • the Retaining elements 7 of the container mouth 8 are in the intermediate position P1 between the two stop surfaces 13, 14 the auxiliary restraining means 10 and the restraining elements 6.
  • the Protrusions are solid, so that the stop 13 a reliable axial retention of the closure on the Container mouth allows.
  • the auxiliary restraint 10 i.e. the inward protrusions are adjacent arranged to the lower edge of the closure 1, so that them when the closure 1 is placed on a container mouth in front of the retaining elements 6 in engagement with the retaining elements 7 kick the container mouth 8.
  • the auxiliary restraint 10 define a free inner diameter, which is greater than that due to the retaining elements 6 defined free inner diameter. The to suspend the Auxiliary restraint means 10 is required force less than the actual closing force.
  • Figure 2 shows the closure of Figure 1, which is complete placed in a sealing position P2 on a container mouth 8 is. Since the retaining elements 6 of the closure 1 define a smaller free inner diameter than that Auxiliary restraint means 10 is the closure 1 in the figure 2 shown position held more firmly on the container mouth 8 as shown in Figure 1 position. The position in Figure 1 only serves to temporarily open the closure to hold the container mouth 8, so that a jumping off or Tilting is avoided. In the position shown in Figure 1 but the container is not sealed.
  • the stop 13 of the auxiliary restraining means 10 is in the Sealing position P2 no longer required.
  • Figure 3 shows a bottom view of that shown in Figures 1 and 2 Closure.
