Definitions
- the invention relates to a support frame, preferably for tumble dryers or umbrellas in particular Garden umbrellas, with a support tube, around which is axially fixed to the support tube, first star part articulated support arms and articulated with these and at one, on Support tube axially fixable, second star part articulated support arms arranged in a star shape are, the support and support arms by axially moving one of the two star parts are pivotable between a folded position and an unfolded position.
- racks are used in tumble dryers and umbrellas to open and close the the clotheslines or screen coverings attached to the support arms by opening and closing the Arms of the support frame, in which each formed by a support arm and a support arm Knee joints bent when the arms are folded out and almost completely when the arms are folded in be stretched.
- a star section is along the Support tube shifted towards the other star part axially fixed to the support tube until the clothesline or screen covering spread out by the support arms pivoting away from the support tube and has been tensioned, and then axially fixed to the support tube.
- a star part is released from its axial fixation on the support tube and from another, axially fixed star part on the support tube moved away until the support arms that together with the clothesline or umbrella covering to the support tube, their folded Have reached position, and then axially fixed to the support tube or by the folded Support frame held in its end position.
- first star part with its articulated support arms attached to the upper end of the support tube and the second star part with its articulated support arms below the first star part Support tube for extending and retracting the arms pushed up and down and through attached to the support tube Locking devices axially fixed.
- the second star part is, depending on the type of dryer attached to the upper end of the support tube, the clothesline then only in one predetermined working height can be spanned, or axially displaceable along the support tube and provided with its own locking device with which it can be attached to the support tube in different the height positions corresponding to the desired working height are axially fixed can.
- tumble dryers and umbrellas are folded up standing or lying down stored and only opened when needed to get wet laundry on the stretched clothesline hang to dry or around the area around the support tube through the stretched Protect the screen covering from rain or sun.
- unfolding the arms of the folded Support frame by pushing up the lower star part must first the resistance caused by the extended knee joints of the folded support frame be overcome before the lower part of the star with slightly open arms and slightly bent knee joints with much less effort to fold out further the arm can be pushed up further.
- pushing up the lower star part also the weight of the support and support arms are raised.
- the support frame with its four support arms is between which the clothesline is stretched when opening the support frame and that Weight of wet, heavy laundry hanging on the clothesline must be stable and carried out relatively heavy, which is why when the support frame is folded to push up of the lower star part required force is relatively large.
- the lower star part is in its end position close to the ground when the support frame is folded, which is why the operator has to bend down to grasp the lower star part in order to counter it push up the resistance of the folded support frame along the support tube and at to be able to axially fix the tensioned clothesline to the support tube.
- EP 220 565 A2 is an umbrella-shaped clothes dryer with at the upper end of the support tube axially fixed second star part known, in which one attached to the upper star part Traction rope via a lower rope deflection, which is coaxial to link a support arm to the lower star part is deflected upwards, along the support arm up to its articulated connection with the Support arm runs and over an upper, to this joint connection coaxial cable deflection from Support tube is deflected away to the outside.
- the cable pull acting directly on this support arm leads to a tilting of the lower star part, which in its lower end position swaying loosely on the four and each consisting of a support arm and a support arm pairs of arms.
- EP 649 935 A1 is an umbrella-shaped clothes dryer with at the upper end of the support tube axially fixed second star part known, in the inside of the support tube one in the second Star part axially displaceable spreader body is arranged, with near the upper ends the support arms arranged, protruding from the support arms towards the support tube works together.
- the upper end of the expansion body is attached to the upper star part Connected rope that runs along the support tube to the lower star part and from there Support tube is deflected away to the outside.
- the object of the invention is to facilitate the opening of the support frame.
- the support and support arms are each the end members of tripartite link chains in which a short swing arm is provided as the central link.
- the swing arms prevent the link chains from stiffening when they are folded of the support frame are stretched.
- the swing arms allow the link chains to be compressed with a swinging out of the support arms in a slightly open position before that of the Link chains formed knee joints bent more and the support arms over their slightly open position can be pivoted away from the support tube.
- the swing arms allow the link chains to buckle in the area of the knee joints of the Support frame.
- each of the support arm by the pivoting away from the support tube about its articulation on the support arm Swing arm in the area of the knee joint away from the support tube to a slightly open one Position pivoted.
- the swing arms swinging away from the support tube when the link chains of the support frame bend generate an opening angle taken up by all support arms in the slightly open position, its size from the swivel position of the swing arms when compressed or buckled Link chains and depends on the shape of the swing arms.
- the support arm linkage can be attached to the swing arm Adjacent, projecting over the support arm linkage towards the support tube when the link chain is buckled Can be provided with which the swing arm during the buckling of the link chain supported on the support tube.
- This design allows the opening angle generated by the buckling of the link chains to enlarge the supporting frame with the help of the protruding cams of the swing arms, without the distance between the support arm linkage and the support arm linkage for the swing arms enlarge.
- At least one, its pivoting position can be on the swing arm compared to the articulated support arm and interacting with the articulated support arm Stop may be provided.
- This training allows the mutual position of the support, support and swing arms one Link chain in different positions of the support frame due to the mechanical limitation the pivot position of the swing arm relative to the articulated support arm.
- a pivot position on the swing arm relative to the articulated support arm If the link chain is buckled and the support arm is slightly open, the limit stop is provided be.
- This design of the swing arms is the same for all link chains for all support arms have a constant opening angle created by the buckling of the link chains reached.
- the stops of the swing arms advantageously each of the substantially perpendicular to the support tube pivot position Swing arms can be assigned.
- a pivot position on the swing arm relative to the articulated support arm If the link chain is stretched and the support arm is folded in, a stop is provided be.
- This training allows one with a stretched link chain and folded carrier and Support arms remaining, predetermined residual articulation angle between the swing arm and support arm on the one hand or between the swing arm and support arm, on the other hand, via the interacting with the support arm Define the stop of the swing arm.
- a pivot position on the swing arm relative to the articulated support arm If the link chain is bent and the support arm is folded out, the limit stop is provided be.
- This training allows the link chain to be completely bent and unfolded Support and support arms between the swing arm and support arm a remaining, predetermined residual articulation angle via the stop of the swing arm which interacts with the support arm.
- Fig. 1 shows an umbrella-shaped Clothes dryer with the support frame folded from the side
- Fig. 2 den umbrella-shaped clothes dryer of Figure 1 in the area of a knee joint with slightly open Support arms.
- the clothes dryer in FIGS. 1 and 2 has a vertical support tube 1 in the bottom anchored support frame in which the clothesline (not shown) on the four support arms 2 is attached, which are arranged in a star shape around the support tube 1 and at their lower Ends 2a are articulated to a first star part 3, which in the region of the lower half of the Carrier tube 1 is axially displaceable along this and a (not shown) locking device carries, with which it can be axially fixed to the support tube 1 at different heights.
- the support frame further comprises four support arms 4, each associated with the support arms 1, around the support tube 1 are arranged in a star shape and at their upper ends on a second Star part 5 are articulated, axially fixed at the upper end of the support tube 1 and also can carry a locking device with which he in the upper half of the support tube 1 on the support tube 1 can be fixed axially at different heights.
- the support arms 4 are at their lower ends via short swing arms 6 articulated on them, which in turn are articulated in the central region of the support arms 2 on the support arms 2, with the Support arms 2 articulated so that each support arm 4 together with the articulated on it Swing arm 6 and the articulated on this support arm 2 forms a three-link chain.
- the support arm 4 articulated on the upper second star part 5 is the upper one End member
- the support arm 2 articulated on the lower first star part 3 the lower end member and the Intermediate, short swing arm 6 between the support arm 4 and support arm 2, the middle link.
- the arms 2, 4 and 6 of the support frame form four link chains that face each other on the outside of the support tube 1 in pairs opposite and the upper, axially fixed to the support tube 1,
- Pushing up the first star part 3 from its bottom, lower end position ( Figure 1) can be made by hand or via one two star parts 3, 5 attacking cable take place, the cable 7 at the bottom first Star part 3 is guided away from the support tube 1 to the outside.
- the four link chains in the area of each of a support arm 2 and a support arm 4 formed knee joints of the support frame and the support arms 2 by the swing arms 6 pivoting upward about their support arm linkages 6b from the support tube 1 pushed away and pivoted into a slightly open position.
- the second link phase is the four link chains in the area of the knee joints of the support frame further bent and the support arms 2 away from the support tube from the slightly open position pivoted into the extended position.
- the link chains When the link chains are compressed, the link chains bend in the area of their swing arms 6 and are supported with the folded support arms 4 on the support tube 1, while the swing arms 6 swivel upward around their support arm linkages 6b and thereby on their support arm linkages 6a articulated support arms 2 away from the support tube 1 to their slightly open position to press.
- the size of the opening angle thus generated in the support arms 2 between the support tube 1 and support arm 2 depends on the swivel path of the swing arms 6 and the distance between the support arm linkage 6a and support arm linkage 6b.
- the support arm linkage 6b adjacent cam 6c may be provided, which in the direction when the link chain is extended of the articulated support arm 4 protrudes upwards beyond the support arm linkage 6b and at kinked link chain protrudes beyond the support arm linkage 6b to the support tube 1.
- a stop 6d can be provided on the end of the swing arm 6 facing the support arm 2 be with which the swing arm 4 when unfolding the support arm 2 with a bent link chain strikes the support arm 2.
- a stop 6d be provided with which the swing arm 6 strikes the support arm 2 when the swing arm 6 when stretching the link chain around the support arm linkage 6a to the support arm 2 is pivoted.
- a stop 6d allows the position generated by folding in the support frame of the swing arm 6, which is also the starting position of the swing arm 6 for the upsetting movement the link chain forms to determine the respective requirements.
- This Requirements are e.g. B. shape, weight and dimensions of the arms of the support frame, or Size of the forces required to open the supporting frame, by hand or over a wire rope hoist with or without pulley effect, etc.
- the configuration of the support frame according to the invention can also be used for one Umbrella, such as B. a parasol or a garden umbrella.
- a equipped with the support frame according to the invention form the umbrella covering the upper end links of the three-link chains are supported on their upper side by support arms, which the axially fixed at the upper end of the support tube first star part with the along the Connect support tube axially displaceable second star part, on which the lower end links of the link chains forming support arms are articulated.
