Definitions
- the present invention relates to a thread guide, especially stationary thread guides, for Ship embroidery machines.
- a thread cage for straight through is the thread cage known threads, which is a thread catches easily and which prevents the trapped Thread, even if it is at high speeds through the Cage is guided, can jump out of the cage.
- a closure part consists of an arm, which on the bar is hinged and which is shorter than the pins and is arranged perpendicular to the arm on the arm Rod. If the arm is in a parallel to the pins Position, the rod closes the thread cage by between the bar and the end distant from the bar the pins are perpendicular to the pins. This is a prevents the thread from jumping out of the cage.
- Thread insertion To make the closure part accessible by one in Thread running direction pivoted axis. A thread can only be inserted if the closure part in which is pivoted in one direction. Then all the cages are standing open. In contrast, the threads are only in front of the Jump out protected when the closure part in the other direction is pivoted. everyone is in this position Threads included. A thread insertion is therefore only possible if all threads are still, i.e. if the one with the Device equipped machine is not in operation.
- the thread guide in particular to train the small thread guide so that a running out of the thread is reliably avoided. Like but before should a quick and easy hanging of the thread remain guaranteed.
- the thread guide has a hanging loop for each embroidery point, which has a thread feed opening, thereby characterized in that the thread feed opening by a Locking part is closed in such a way that when Insert a thread into the eyelet from the closing one Position backs away and thus the hanging of a thread allowed, but an automatic looping out of the thread prevented.
- the closure part can be an articulated rigid part which e.g. by its own weight or by Spring means held in its locking position is.
- an elastic closure part is preferred. This gives way when hanging the thread thanks to it Elasticity and certainly returns to the locking position back. A jam in the open Position is excluded.
- the locking part preferably locks against the outside Feed opening. So there are none on the inside of the eyelet There are parts to which the thread could hang and the thread from the outside around the eyelet is in front of the Entry opening rejected. It becomes the thread avoiding hooking in of a second thread loop avoided.
- the closure part is advantageous for several side by side arranged hanging eyes a single, continuous Closure part. Whether it's a resilient sheet of metal, at most with individual tongues, an elastic plastic profile, a stiff, spring-loaded flap or something else Closure part is, it can be used as a single, continuous Element can be assembled very easily.
- the closure part is advantageously a foam rubber part, e.g. a foam rubber profile or a foam rubber cord.
- a foam rubber part e.g. a foam rubber profile or a foam rubber cord.
- closed-pore cellular rubber is advisable because of this has a smooth surface or skin.
- foam rubber is not exclusively a rubber product understand.
- Other fine-pored and elastomeric Foams made from a suitable polymer are commercially available referred to as foam rubber.
- Polymers are advantageous used, which are resistant to oil, because the threads sometimes have to be impregnated before processing.
- Such sponge rubber profile can have different shapes his. Round cross sections are expedient, but so are angular cross-sections are advantageous in certain cases. So are used when retrofitting thread guides with a Foam rubber strips like to use square profiles, which can be glued with a side surface. Also Hollow molds can be useful.
- foam rubber profiles or strips are that they close the thread feed opening tightly.
- an elastic tongue which the thread feed opening closes
- the foam rubber part seals flat against the Eyelet. It nestles, plastically deforming, against the Opening edge. This also increases the risk of Injuries to the thread on the closure part avoided. Since that Foam rubber part is very soft, the thread can easily be introduced. On the other hand, the locking force is sufficient to secure the thread.
- the hanging eye 11 of a stationary or so-called small one The thread guide serves to deflect the thread 13. It points a thread feed opening 15 for inserting the thread 13 on and is on a part 17 of the machine or a Eyelet ruler 17 ', which is arranged on the machine, attached.
- the thread feed opening 15 is opposite the thread-deflecting eyelet ring part 19. It is open against one Insertion path 21.
- At the end 23 of the insertion path 21 is before the thread feed opening 15 with a foam rubber profile 25 round cross section clamped.
- the foam rubber profile 25 closes the opening from the outside by making it tight pressed against the edge of the opening.
- Figure 2 illustrates that a special receiving bulge 29 in the shape of the eyelet 11, the closure part 25 or 31 can give a better grip.
- Receiving bulge 29 takes place as a closure part 31 e.g. also a plastic tube enough hold so that it can pass through the Vibrations do not leave the place.
- Such a receptacle bulge 29 can also by a wide Opening of the thread feed opening 15 can be created as it is shown in Figure 3.
- Figure 3 In this figure there is one inclined towards the thread pull direction during the insertion path Outer eye 27 shown. Because of this inclination, the Danger of threading in automatically 13 can also be reduced because the tension on the thread 13 this pulls away from the thread feed opening 15.
- Figure 4 is a on the machine part 17 or ruler 17 ' glued, square foam rubber strip 25 'shown, which closes the entry path 21.
- the educated one Completion of the introduction path 21 is also suitable that To prevent the thread 13 from running out. If there is one Thread loop forms, it can not in the Loop in the eyelet 11 and pull the thread 13 immediately pulled over the outside of the eyelet.
