Definitions
- the invention is based on a distributor injection pump the genus of claim 1.
- a distributor injection pump the genus of claim 1.
- Distributor injection pump has a back and forth driven and at the same time rotating pump piston which rotates during its and its pump stroke one of several injection lines, that each lead to a fuel injector Injection brought fuel supplied.
- the electrically controlled Valve which is a solenoid valve, opened briefly, and so on to relieve the pump workspace and the achieved Reduce fuel pressure for a short time. This means that a very fast switching solenoid valve is required a considerable effort on the electrical control and to the design of the valve.
- a special pressure valve in the connection between Pump work space and injector provided at High pressure fuel delivery to the fuel injector in Delivery direction opens and at the end of the injection closes and that is suitable for pressure waves between the Remove the pressure valve and the fuel injection valve and in this area a desired constant pressure to hold during the injection breaks. It is advantageous with a divided fuel injection with a Pre-injection and one main injection per work cycle of the respective cylinder of the internal combustion engine to be supplied for a constant stand pressure in the injection breaks to care.
- the solution according to the invention makes control of a injection divided into a pre and main injection much easier. Through the constructive over the An electrical interruption is omitted Control with interim opening and closing of the electrically controlled valve to interrupt the Injection between pre and main injection and the associated effort.
- the electrically controlled valve also does not need the high switching speed have for precise control of the injection pause between pre and main injection is necessary and can be considerably simpler and smaller than a very special one fast switching valve.
- the use also allows of injectors with divided injection rate an exact controllable injection break.
- FIG. 1 shows a basic illustration of a Fuel injection pump controlled by a solenoid valve and Figure 2 shows a course of the invention Cam track in the form of a cam elevation curve over the Angle of rotation 1
- Embodiment based on a distributor injection pump realized as shown schematically in FIG. 1 is shown. It is a distributor injection pump the axial piston type, even if the object the invention also in other fuel injection pumps is usable such.
- the invention is in a distributor injection pump feasible because here for the supply of the injection valves just a single electrically controlled valve is required and the distribution to the individual Injectors is made using the manifold.
- a pump piston 1 is provided, which in a Cylinder bore 2 is slidably and rotatably arranged and there encloses a pump work space 10 on the front side.
- the pump piston is with a cam 6, the axially downward facing cams 5 of the invention Design has, for. B. no further shown spring, coupled.
- the cam disc turns, in particular in synchronism with the speed of the injection pump powered internal combustion engine from a no further drive shaft shown driven in a known manner, the cam disc under the influence of the spring on a known axially fixed roller ring expires and in the Follow the rotating pump and manifold pistons into one reciprocating promotional and suction movement added.
- Fuel is displaced under high pressure Pump piston with one of several injection lines 7 via a distributor groove 8 in the lateral surface of the pump and Distributor piston in connection.
- the distributor groove is included via a longitudinal channel 9 with the pump workspace connected.
- the injection line runs through a pressure valve 12 to a fuel injection valve 13, the respective Cylinder is assigned to an internal combustion engine.
- the pump work space 10 is supplied with fuel via a suction line 15, which is separated from a suction space 17, which is essentially only shown in dashed lines and enclosed within the housing of the fuel injection pump is supplied.
- the suction chamber receives fuel from a fuel feed pump 18, which is synchronous with the fuel injection pump, z. B. driven by the drive shaft and therefore fuel in speed-dependent quantities promotes in the suction chamber.
- a fuel feed pump 18 which is synchronous with the fuel injection pump, z. B. driven by the drive shaft and therefore fuel in speed-dependent quantities promotes in the suction chamber.
- An additional Pressure control valve 19 is usually the pressure in the suction chamber controlled speed-dependent, if with the help of this Pressure additional functions of the fuel injection pump controlled should be.
- An overflow throttle 22 flows continuously Fuel back to the reservoir 23 so that thereby cooling the injection pump or degassing the Suction chamber is taken care of.
- the suction line 15 leads through Check valve 16 in the pump work space, which Check valve opens towards the pump work area.
- an electrically controlled one Valve 24 is provided which has a bypass line 21 controls to the pressure valve 16 and with its help when opening the valve a connection between the pump work space 10 and suction chamber 17 is made and when the valve is closed the pump work space 10 is closed. That as a solenoid valve symbolized electrically controlled valve 24 is controlled by a control device 25 according to operating parameters controlled in a manner known per se. With enough large flow cross section of the valve 24 can, however Check valve 16 is also omitted. In this case the Pump workspace during the suction stroke only via the electrically controlled valve filled.
- a stroke course of the pump piston over time generate, which is divided into a first area V of starting with the delivery stroke of the piston after a small one Conveying stroke ends in a second area P in which the Piston is then set into a retrograde motion so that high-pressure production is effectively ended and there is an injection break and finally into one third area H, in which the cam flank rises again and the pump piston for further delivery of the main injection quantity shifts.
- the diagram in Figure 2 can also be seen like that electrically controlled valve, e.g. a solenoid valve or also a valve actuated by a piezo to control the Beginning of the pre-injection quantity delivery and at the same time the start of spraying is closed in point FB and only for End of main injection again in point FE is opened.
- the injection is interrupted solely because the cam region P does not have an effective one High pressure funding is possible.
- This constructively Predefined spray pause can mean the duration of the interruption high-pressure injection basically constant kept cam angles occur, especially regardless of the switching speed of the electrically controlled valve and the speed. In individual cases it is also possible to Modify cam shape, in the sense of the desired divided Injection.
- the fuel injection pump of the invention Art supplies injectors that are suitable to inject a divided injection rate and thereby for the pre-injection has a smaller injection cross-section provide as for the main injection.
- injectors are known and do not need further details here to be discribed. For this, e.g. on the DE -C2-36 06 246 referenced. With the help of such Trained injection valves can be much more precise the required injection pause between pre and main injection be respected.
