Definitions
- the present invention relates to an element glassmaker for lighting rooms with light natural, with at least two plates transparent between which lamellas, presenting a curvature deflecting the light, are arranged parallel to each other, these strips having preferably a front surface facing the light incident which is curved convexly as well that a surface with a surface structure diffusing light.
- a glass element of this type is known from document DE 44 42 228 C1.
- the slats deflecting the light are on this occasion arranged in areas chosen between the glass sheets of a window and are used to deflect the sunlight hitting their surfaces so as to direct it precisely in certain areas of a room, so that these areas have a higher light intensity than other areas of this room.
- Each of the slats has, on the light exit face, a structure superficial, especially in the form particularly advantageous sine waves.
- the structuring of the lamellae on the outlet face of the light is however an operation requiring work rather important.
- the invention aims to arrange the element glassmaker of the aforementioned type so that its manufacturing is generally simpler and less expensive, without altering the deflection effect light.
- the invention also provides for providing selected surface areas of at least one of transparent glass sheets, rather than a surface appropriate lamellae, reliefs and hollows.
- the reliefs and hollows on the sheet of transparent glass can be formed before assembly of the glass element by a treatment suitable from the transparent glass sheet.
- the surface scattering light consists of a film in embossed plastic or by the fact that the plate transparent as such is manufactured in a plastic material, such as for example polymethyl methacrylate and is provided in the selected surface areas of reliefs and hollow imprinted by embossing.
- a sheet of silicate glass is used as a plate transparent. Such a sheet of silicate glass has as an advantage of having greater resistance better scratch resistance ultraviolet and better chemical resistance to filling gas.
- the silicate glass sheet can by example consist of a sheet of glass provided on one of its surfaces with plastic wrap containing the surface pattern. It is however particularly advantageous that this sheet of glass consists of a shaped glass sheet, namely a sheet of glass says cast.
- the use of cast glass has the particular advantage that the structure desired surface is obtained directly by a embossing of the still deformable hot cast glass, so the additional lamination operation plastic film can be deleted.
- Glass elements designed according to the invention combine the advantages of an intensity high light and illumination over a large surface to their ease of manufacture.
- the desired illumination is also obtained when the profiled surface is arranged in the direction of incidence of light rays in front of light diffusing slats.
- the surface contoured has the effect of directing the scattered light in the horizontal direction on the heads of slats, focus it there, and then deviate in the desired vertical direction.
- the profiled surface is arranged in the direction incidence of light rays at the back of the slats diffusing light.
- the profiled surface diffuses the previously directed light into the slats deflecting light in the vertical direction and thus allows diffuse illumination of larger surfaces or the whole room.
- the pattern that presents the profiling has preferably a periodic appearance. It is particularly advantageous that the s / p ratio of a amplitude height s and period length p or less than 0.6, preferably less than 0.3.
- the period length p is advantageously greater than 1 mm, preferably greater than 1.5 mm.
- a light scattering effect particularly advantageous can then be obtained when the amplitude pattern is made of ribs and elongated rectilinear grooves and is in section transverse in the form of sine waves.
- lamellas 3 made of polymethacrylate of methyl (PMMA) are arranged between a sheet of float glass 1 and a sheet of poured glass 2.
- PMMA polymethacrylate of methyl
- the sheet of cast glass 2 is provided on its surface facing the insert space 5 and therefore towards the lamellas 3 of a surface pattern 7.
- the pattern surface 7 has ribs and grooves in waveform having a period P of 2 mm and a amplitude s of 0.5 mm.
- the reliefs and hollows diffuse the light incident in the horizontal direction so that it comes in all horizontal directions, on the slats 3 deflecting the light. Thanks to the fact that their surfaces 4 facing the direction of incidence of light are curved convexly, the 3 deflecting lamellae have properties of focus. Thanks to the combination of diffusion horizontal at the reliefs and hollows of the transparent plate 2 and focusing properties and deflection of light from the slats 3 in the vertical direction, we obtain a diffuse lighting on a large area of the selected areas of the room, particular from the room ceiling.
- the two glass sheets 1 and 2 can be connected to each other in insulating glass by through a bracing frame not represented.
- Such insulating glass can also be used well in a window as a fixed wall element or ceiling of a building.
- the sheet of poured glass is arranged outside.
- the glass element shown in FIG. 2 has three sheets of glass 10, 11, 12.
- the glass sheets 10, 12 are glass sheets floated on flat and parallel surfaces, while the glass sheet 11 is a sheet of glass cast at embossed surface.
- the slats 13 have the same structure that the lamellae 3 shown in FIG. 1.
- the sheet of cast glass 11 is provided with a pattern superficial 17 which has the same wavy shape as the surface pattern 7 shown in FIG. 1.
- the glass sheets 10, 11, 12 are connected to each other by a non-bracing frame represented.
- the spacers 14, 15 are filled with the usual filling gas for insulating glass, preferably a rare gas.
- the glass sheets 10, 12 are each provided on their surface facing the intermediate spaces 14, 15 a coating 18, 19 reflecting the heat.
- Insulating glass of such a structure can as well be enshrined in a window like a classic insulating glass, that to be used as element facade or ceiling.
- the glass elements shown in Figs. 1 and 2 are arranged in such a way so that the surface pattern 7, 17 is facing inside the building.
