Abstract

Bei einem flüssigkeitsgekühlten Zylinderkurbelgehäuse 1 in Open-Deck-Konstruktion ist in den Kühlwasserraum 4 ein Verdrängerkörper 8 eingelegt, dessen Form an die Form des Kühlwasserraumes angenähert ist und dessen Innenwand 9 mit der Außenfläche 10 des die Zylinder 6 enthaltenden Zylinderblocks 5 einen engen Spalt 11 begrenzt, der mit dem Kühlwasser-Eintrittstutzen 7 in Verbindung steht. Dadurch wird das Kühlwasser gezwungen, am Zylinderblock entlangzuströmen, so daß eine intensive Kühlung mit verringerter Kühlwassermenge erreicht wird.
