Abstract

Die Erfindung geht von einer durch Flüssigkeit gekühlten Hubkolbenbrennkraftmaschine (10) mit einem Zylinderkopf (12) und einem Zylinderblock (14) aus, deren Kühlflüssigkeitsräume über getrennte Einlassleitungen (34, 36) an einem Kühlkreislauf (16) angeschlossen sind, der mindestens eine Wasserpumpe (18), einen Kühler (20) mit einem Lüfter (24) enthält, wobei die Wasserpumpe (18) über eine Druckleitung (32) Kühlflüssigkeit zu den Einlassleitungen (34, 36) fördert und mindestens in einer Einlassleitung (34, 36) ein Regelventil (42) angeordnet ist, das den Volumenstrom in Abhängigkeit von Betriebsparametern der Hubkolbenbrennkraftmaschine (10) steuert. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Kühlflüssigkeitsräume des Zylinderkopfs (12) und des Zylinderblocks (14) voneinander getrennt und über getrennte Auslassleitungen (38, 40) an einer gemeinsamen Rückströmleitung (26) angeschlossen sind.
