Abstract

PURPOSE:To promote carburetion of liquid fuel to be taken into the engine by means of rapidly raising cooling water temperatues of water jacket in the cylinder head after starting. CONSTITUTION:A water temperature sensor 29 detects temperature in the cooling water to flow through a conduit 10, namely the temperature in the cooling water to flow into a water jacket 4 of a cylinder head 2. When temperature in the cooling water detected by the water temperature sensor 29 is at the first determined value for example less than 80 deg.C, a controller 28 gives a control valve 12 valve closing signals as outputs, and when it is at more than the determined value, it gives the control valve 12 valve opening signals as output respectively. Besides, when the temperature in the cooling water is at the second determined value which is higher than the first determined value, for example less than 85 deg.C, it gives a control valve 17 valve closing signals as output, and when it is at more than the second determined value, it gives the control valve 17 valve opening signals as output respectively.
