Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent reliably half misfire when the engine is in low temperatures by providing a suction temperature sensor and a cooling water temperature sensor which actuate a driving gear to couple to an injection timing adjusting member of a fuel injection pump. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection pump 1 is coupled through a lever 2 to a driving gear. An electromagnetic valve 9 is provided on a path 7 for actuating in response to the suction temperature, and an electromagnetic valve 15 is provided on a path 14 for actuating in response to the engine cooling water temperature. When the cooling water temperature is at more than the determined value, and when suction temperature is at less than the determined value, the electromagnetic valve 9 is actuated, a diaphragm 5 is limited by a stopper 12, the lever 2 is moved to the first stage of advance angular position. When both cooling water temperature and suction temperature are at less than the determined value, the stopper 12 is retracted, and a diaphragm 11 is further moved to the right. Thus, half misfire condition when the engine is in low temperatures can be reliably prevented.
