Definitions

  • the invention relates to a delivery device for the delivery of a liquid active substance with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
  • So-called toilet scent cleaner sticks consist of extrudable individual blocks, which have a cleaning agent and a fragrance or fragrance and are partially refillable in a cage-like plastic container.
  • the addressed plastic container is placed under the inner edge of the toilet bowl and thus overflows with the flushing water during a flushing process.
  • the lifespan of these sticks is determined by the number of flushes, whereby the average service life is based on a family of three to four people and is not aimed at a growing number of single households.
  • the fragrance in the stick is rinsed together with the cleaning agent to which it adheres, through the rinsing stream into the sewage system, so that the fragrance effect for the consumer is low and is completely eliminated if no rinsing takes place over a long period of time.
  • the odor or fragrance content can be increased accordingly in order to maintain more intensive room scenting in the toilet cleaning stick, this is not advisable due to economic considerations and due to technical circumstances.
  • a comparable dispensing device for toilet bowls is known from EP 0 538 957 B1, the container of which contains an active ingredient liquid containing cleaning and air freshening agents, which can be dispensed from the container through a dispensing opening.
  • the mentioned discharge opening is provided with a liquid-permeable closure in the manner of a sponge, which is in permanent connection with a porous, likewise sponge-like mass, which is arranged in the path of the flushing water in devices suspended in the toilet bowl.
  • An evaporation of the respective fragrance of the active substance takes place via the porous mass, so that a constant room fragrance is achieved.
  • the cleaning agent can be dispensed via the porous sponge-like mass during a rinsing process.
  • the container is ventilated indirectly via the only discharge opening of the known container.
  • the above-mentioned porous material can grow overgrowth with regular contact with the rinse water, provided that no appropriate disinfectant is used, which is however environmentally problematic and cost-intensive. Furthermore, after a few refills with the active ingredient, it is to be expected that the pores of the porous material will clog and the known cleaning and refreshing system as a dispensing device will thus become inoperable.
  • the known solution has a retaining bracket which, in the use position, integrally comprises the respective toilet bowl edge from above, due to the predetermined, relatively rigid design of the fastening part in the manner of a C-shaped retaining clip for attacking the toilet bowl edge a secure setting of the known device is not achievable, so that the flushing water may cause the toilet pool edge to slide out of the preferred position of use, which may reduce the full functionality in operation accordingly.
  • FR-2 613 743 discloses a generic dispensing device for dispensing a liquid active substance in a toilet bowl with a container provided for receiving the active substance, which can be detachably connected to the toilet bowl via a fastening part and which has at least one dispensing opening for the active substance, and at least one ventilation opening, the respective delivery opening being formed from a delivery tube which is arranged on the underside of the container and protrudes towards the surroundings and is selected in diameter in such a way that the active ingredient is dispensed dropwise, the respective ventilation opening being formed from a ventilation tube, that opens into the open and protrudes into the interior of the container, and is chosen in diameter such that the active ingredient only exits via the delivery tube.
  • the known delivery device is structurally complex and is therefore expensive to manufacture.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a dispensing device for toilet bowls, with which a strong and permanent room fragrance is achieved inexpensively, even if no flushing for a long time takes place, and which is functionally reliable in operation over a longer period of time.
  • a corresponding object is achieved by a dispensing device having the features of claim 1.
  • the fastening part for hanging on the toilet bowl edge has a roll-up bracket which, in the position of use, encompasses or engages under the toilet bowl rim in two parts from above and below, a part of the bracket can run and form in a straight line along the inner toilet bowl rim surface thus a rectilinear or rectilinear system for the side of the container facing the edge of the toilet bowl.
  • the fixing option in question therefore increases the functional reliability of the dispensing device in use.
  • the respective dispensing opening is formed from a dispensing tube which, arranged on the underside of the container, projects toward the surroundings and is selected in diameter in such a way that the active substance is dispensed drop by drop, and that the respective ventilation opening is formed from an aeration tube, that opens into the open and protrudes into the interior of the container and is chosen in diameter such that the active ingredient only exits through the delivery tube.
  • a type of liquid dropper system is thus implemented which dispenses the liquid active substance, preferably consisting of the respective fragrance or fragrance and the cleaning agent, into the environment or into the toilet bowl.
  • the dropper unit provides permanent room scenting, even if the flushing is not operated for a longer period.
  • the dispensing device according to the invention Since no porous material is used, there is practically no fouling on the dropper system and it is also not possible for a porous material to become blocked, so that the dispensing device according to the invention also functions reliably over long periods is in operation. For reliable operation, it also contributes to the fact that no components which can be moved relative to one another are provided for the active ingredient delivery.
  • the respective ventilation tube of the container ensures that the active ingredient is metered continuously from the container per unit of time exclusively through the dispensing tube can be delivered, wherein a time control is achieved via the choice of the viscosity of the active ingredient liquid to be metered and dispensed.
  • the container with the active substance liquid can be separated from the other holding and holding device on the toilet bowl, so that after the active substance has been used up, the container can be replaced inexpensively and simply by a new one.
  • a particularly dosed delivery of the active ingredient is possible if so-called capillary tubes are used as tubes, in particular for the ventilation tube.
  • the dispensing device in particular in the form of a cleaning and refreshing device for toilet bowls 10, of which a toilet bowl rim 12 is shown by way of example in FIG. 4, is used for the targeted dispensing of an active substance 14 which has at least one fragrance, but preferably consists of several fragrances or There are fragrance substances, as well as at least one cleaning agent, which may also have a disinfectant component or additionally have a disinfectant to that effect. Other additives are possible, such as sequestering agents, biocides etc.
  • the cleaning agent is in any case dispensed with each rinsing process, with a fragrance being dispensed simultaneously and in addition.
  • the active substance 14 is stored in a container 16 which is detachably connected to the toilet bowl 10, in particular to the toilet bowl rim 12, via a fastening part 18.
  • the container 16 has on its underside a dispensing opening 20 in the form of a dispensing tube 21 for the active substance, the tube in question forming a type of drip opening which allows the active substance 14 to be dispensed in the form of drops.
  • the container 16 is also provided with a ventilation opening 22 in the form of a ventilation tube 23.
  • the delivery tube 21 and the ventilation tube 23 are arranged with mutually parallel opening directions on the underside of the container 16, preferably at its lowest point, for the targeted delivery of the active substance 14.
  • the dispensing tube 21 and the aeration tube 23 are designed as capillary tubes, the dispensing tube 21 projecting downward on the underside of the container and the aeration tube 23 protruding into the container 16 like a nozzle.
  • the outer contour of the container 16 can be designed in the manner of a dropper bottle; however, there are also other imaginative container designs or the like in the manner of a can or a square block. possible.
  • the dispensing tube 21 releases the active substance 14 directly into the toilet bowl 10, which, however, may have the disadvantage that the toilet bowl 10 looks dirty at the outlet point of the active substance 14 for the consumer.
  • an intermediate support 24 can be provided below the delivery opening 20, that is, below the delivery tube 21, within the falling path of the active ingredient 14, which initially receives the released active ingredient 14 on its upper side.
  • the intermediate carrier 24 is designed in the modified embodiment in the manner of a half-shell, in order first to keep the active substance 14 in stock before an actual rinsing process and to contain fragrances or fragrances in the active substance 14 continuously emitted to the room air, even if there is no flushing process.
  • the intermediate carrier 24 is arranged between the container 16 and the toilet bowl 10 and is integrally connected to the fastening part 18.
  • the intermediate carrier 24 thus forms, together with the fastening part 18, a receiving device 26 with a receiving means 28, into which the container 16 with its two tubes 21, 23 can be inserted.
  • the container 16 has on its underside a connecting piece-like latching part 32 which, as is shown in particular in FIG. 4, tapers the container cross section in the direction of the dispensing tube 21.
  • the height of the ventilation tube 23 preferably corresponds to the height of the nozzle-like locking part 32.
  • the respective receiving opening 28 of the receiving device 26 is provided with a latching part 30 into which the already mentioned assignable latching part 32 of the container 16 can be latched in order to produce a detachable clip connection 34 is.
  • Clip connections other than the arrangements shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 are conceivable and possible.
  • the associated latching part 32 which can be cylindrical along its inner circumference, is arranged on a projecting neck part 36 of the container 16, the neck part 36 expanding toward the inside of the container 16 in batches on all sides and, as the figures show, it is provided that the end of the ventilation tube 23 which opens into the interior of the container 16 ends at the level of this step-like extension.
  • the downward-facing and protruding free end of the dispensing tube 21 is in any case kept at a distance from the top of the plate-like intermediate carrier 24 in such a way that the drops of active substance dispensed can be distributed on the top of the intermediate carrier 24 on a large surface for the fragrance and detergent dispensing.
  • the intermediate carrier 24 is arranged in a fixed manner via an intermediate web 36 on the underside of the latching part 30 of the fastening part 18.
  • the fastening part 18 has a roll-up holding bracket 40 for hanging on the toilet bowl edge 12, which, as shown in FIG. 2, comprises or engages in two parts from above and below the toilet bowl edge 12, a counter-holding arm 42 being resiliently in contact with the free one lower end of the inward-facing toilet bowl edge 12.
  • that part of the holding bracket 40 which extends from the counter-holding arm 42 runs in a straight line along the inner edge of the toilet bowl and thus forms a rectilinear or rectilinear contact for the side of the toilet bowl edge 12 Container 16.
  • the height of the container 16 is chosen such that there can be no overhang with the toilet bowl rim 12 in height and such that when the toilet seat is lowered there are no obstructions in the support. All structural components of the The cleaning and refreshing device is made of plastic materials and keeps its shape.
  • the dispensing device provides a liquid metering system which ensures permanent room scenting in a cost-effective and reliable manner and the dispensing of a cleaning agent in the event of a rinsing process.
  • Solvents, alcohols, glycols, etc. are also to be regarded as cleaning agents within the meaning of the invention, which are primarily intended to prepare the fragrance or fragrance agent for the container 16 in stock.
  • the fragrance release by the device can then be in the foreground and the release of the cleaning agent accordingly decreases.
