Safety device, of the type preventing an accidental operation, capable of totally or partially preventing the operations of a locking fitting (4), such as an espagnolette or espagnolette-lock, after opening a leaf (2) of a door, window or the like (3), including, on the one hand, a support (5) in the form of a casing (14) capable of being inserted against a face-plate (6) behind which moves an operating rod (8) corresponding to said locking fitting (4) and, on the other hand, a locking finger (13) passing through said face-plate (6) with a view to co-operating, under the action of springy restoring means (15), with the operating rod (8), on this locking finger (13) being capable of acting a connecting lug (24) corresponding to a control organ (22) in order to bring it into unlocking position under the action of another leaf or of said sash-frame of the door, window or the like, when closing the latter, characterised in that the casing (14), defined by the support (5) and serving as a recess of the locking finger (13), includes, at the level of each of its opposite sides (26, 27) parallel to the plane (28) of the leaf (2) on which it is provided, an opening (29, 29A) for the passing through of said connecting lug (24) that is capable of encasing onto said locking finger (13), in order to actuate it under the action of an operating lug (25) extending this connecting lug (24), the latter being provided, in addition, with means (37) for anchoring in said casing (14).
    2. Safety device according to claim 1, characterised in that the locking finger (13) extends perpendicularly to the face-plate (6) and includes a head (17) with a larger cross-section on which act the springy restoring means (15), preferably in the form of a helical spring, said locking finger (13) including, in addition, an active portion (21) that passes through an opening (20) provided for at the level of a cover (19) that is preferably crimped onto the rear face (10) of the support (5).
    3. Safety device according to any of claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the openings (29, 29A) provided for at the sides (26, 27) of the casing (14) corresponding to the support (5) are in the form of slots for the passing through of the connecting lug (24) corresponding to the control organ (22).
    4. Safety device according to claim 2, characterised in that the connecting lug (24) of the control organ (22) includes, at the level of its front edge (30), a cut-out (31) of a width (32) slightly smaller than the cross-section of the head (17) of the locking finger (13), so as to be capable of inserting onto the latter, under this head (17).
    5. Safety device according to any of claims 2 and 4, characterised in that the active portion (21) of the locking finger (13) has, substantially at the level of its junction with the head (17), a shoulder (35) aimed at resting, as the case may be, either directly against the inner face (33) of the cover (19) or also on the bottom of a countersinking (36) provided for in the latter, with a view to preserving, between the head (17) of said locking finger (13) and the inner face (33) of the cover (19), a space (34) corresponding at least to the thickness of the connecting lug (24) of the control organ (22).
    6. Safety device according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the anchoring means (37) are in the form of an element forming an off-set provided for at the level of the connecting lug (24) and preventing the withdrawal of the latter from the casing (14) once it has been inserted into the latter.
    7. Safety device according to any of claims 2 and 6, characterised in that the anchoring means (37) adopt the form of at least one blade (38) defined, through cutting out, at the rear edge (39) of the connecting lug (24), this blade (38) being folded back under the plane (40) of the latter, so as to form an off-set aimed at co-operating with a rim (41) provided for at the level of the casing (14), at the level of each of the openings (29, 29A) in the form of slots, said rims (41) being located at the level of the inner face (33) and at the level of the edges (42, 43) corresponding to the cover (19) and being located in correspondence with the sides (26, 27) of said casing (14).
    8. Safety device according to any of claims 2 to 7, characterised in that the cover (19) has a substantially square shape symmetrical with respect to its centre corresponding to the opening (20) for the passing through of the locking finger (13).
    9. Safety device according to any of the preceding claims, the support (5) of which is inserted against the face-plate (6) by means of a fastening organ (50), such as a screw or the like, passing through said face-plate (6) as well as an elongated slot (51) in the operating rod, (8) in order to co-operate with the carpentry of the leaf (2), characterised in that it has a symmetrical configuration with respect to a transversal median plane (52) and that it includes a second locking finger (13A) passing through said face-plate (6) with a view to co-operating, under the action of springy restoring means (15A), with the operating rod (8), on this locking finger (13A) acting a second connecting lug (24A) associated with a control organ (22A), the centre distance (53) between the locking fingers (13, 13A) being determined so that either at least one of them co-operates with an opening with an adjusted cross-section provided for in the operating rod (8) when the locking fitting (4) is brought into any of the opening positions of the leaf (2), this with a view to ensuring a bi-directional immobility of the operating rod (8) or, in one opening position, one (13) of the locking fingers co-operates with an opening (54) of an adjusted cross-section, so as to immobilise the operating rod in each of its directions of displacement and that, in the other opening position, both locking fingers (13, 13A) insert at the level of the ends (55, 56) of the elongated slot (51), present in the operating rod (8), for the passing through of the fastening organ (50) connecting the safety device (1) to the leaf (2), in order to immobilise in translation said operating rod (8).
    10. Safety device according to claim 9, characterised in that the control organ (22A) is in the form of a blade (23A) made of a springy material that, after folding, defines, on the one hand, two connecting lugs (24, 24A) aimed at co-operating with a locking finger (13, 13A), respectively, and, on the other hand, an operating lug (25).
