Claims (6)

  1. Locking device for a motor-vehicle door, of the type including a manoeuvring member (18) for causing the unlocking of a lock of the door via a rod linkage, so as to allow the opening of the door, and of the type in which a securing lock (60) allows the manoeuvring member (18, 42) to be rendered inoperative, the rod linkage (40) including a moveable transmission finger (48) which is actuated by the securing lock (60) between an active position, in which it co-operates with the manoeuvring member (18, 42) to cause the unlocking of the lock, and a disengaged position in which it is no longer capable of co-operating with the manoeuvring member, and in which the transmission finger (48) co-operates with an abutment surface (56) of the locking device (10) to block all movement of the rod linkage in the direction of the unlocking of the lock, characterised in that the rod linkage includes a cam (40) on which the transmission finger (48) is mounted so as to slide in a direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of the movement of the cam (40) when the rod linkage is actuated by the manoeuvring member (18) in order to unlock the lock.
  2. Locking device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the manoeuvring member (18) and the cam (40) are mounted articulated respectively about two perpendicular axes (A1, A2) on a chassis (12) of the device (10), in that the cam (40) extends substantially parallel to the axis of articulation (A1) of the manoeuvring member (18), in that the transmission finger (48) is mounted at a free end (44) of the cam (40) and is capable of sliding in the general direction of the cam (40) between its active position, in which it co-operates with a lever (42) of the manoeuvring member (18), and its disengaged position in which it co-operates with the abutment surface (56) of the chassis (12).
  3. Locking device according to Claim 2, characterised in that the securing lock (60) is a rotary lock with axis (A3) parallel to the axis (A2) of articulation of the cam (40), and in that the lock (60) entrains in rotation about its axis (A3) an eccentric pin (74) which causes the displacement of the transmission finger (48) via a connecting rod (76) which is articulated on the pin (74).
  4. Locking device according to Claim 3, characterised in that the connecting rod (76) is produced in one piece with the transmission finger (48).
  5. Locking device according to any one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the cam (40) is brought back elastically towards a rest position which corresponds to a locking position of the lock and in which it co-operates with a bearing surface (55) of the chassis (12) of the device (10), and in that in the disengaged position of the transmission finger (48) the cam (40) is immobilised in both directions about its axis of articulation (A2).
  6. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that when the transmission finger (48) is in the disengaged position and when the manoeuvring member (18) is brought into its position in which it causes the unlocking of the lock, the manoeuvring member (18) prevents the return of the finger (48) into its active position.
