Definitions
- the invention relates to a binding-shoe combination for Snowboards or the like according to the introductory part (generic term) of claim 1.
- Such a binding-shoe combination is the subject of WO 94/16784.
- 35 of this document can be in the midfoot area of the shoe on the sole one essentially rectangular 'plate part can be arranged, which with its extending in the longitudinal direction of the shoe, laterally somewhat over the Long edges of the shoe sole with shorter edges protruding Shoe holding parts of the bindings interact.
- Fig. 27 and 28 can be on the bottom of the sole with different Clearances in front of and behind the plate part as recesses trained profiles can be arranged 'in the opposite engage stationary profiles on the binding.
- DE-U 94 133 356 is a binding-shoe combination known in which the binding with the shoe in the heel area detected two side hooks, the ends of which according to Art are formed by locking lugs and in side recesses intervenes in the sales area.
- the shoe sole is arranged a cross bar, which in a fixed hook-shaped holder of the binding inserted when the snowboarder puts the boot in the binding.
- This bracket of the front area of the shoe should on the one hand the fastening base of the shoe in the binding enlarge.
- the target position of the recesses on the heel side relatively given to the swivel hook.
- EP 01 15 595 A1 describes a cross-country sole for cross-country ski boots and an associated binding base plate is known, with one over the toe area of the shoe connect outstanding flexible front part of the outsole leaves, so that the shoe when cross-country swiveling by one Transverse axis in the area of the front part of the Outsole pivoted up and the heel of the shoe off the Binding base plate or the top of the cross-country ski lifted off can be.
- Profile recesses formed with essentially the same Interacting profile projections on the base plate, if the sole of the shoe is flat on the Base plate is placed. This is supposed to provide a better hold of the shoe can be reached on the ski.
- the object of the invention is now to bind shoe combinations optimize the type specified at the beginning, the shoes being comfortable and a firm hold in should grant the binding and the controls of Binding arbitrarily on one or the other side of each Shoe can be arranged.
- the common one young snowboarders with their joy of trickier Driving technique to offer a bond that is for unconventional Driving tricks particularly suitable and nevertheless in combination can be used with comfortable shoes.
- the shoe in the bale and heel area thanks to the sole and snowboard side Profiles and counter profiles in a positive connection with the snowboard is one with respect to the vertical axis of the snowboard or the tibia axis of the skier Hold is also given if for the shoe holding devices, which attack only one in the middle of the shoe narrow base is provided and also the shoe has a soft and flexible education.
- the binding according to the invention offers the advantage that binding controls, e.g. Release lever or other handling, depending on the wishes of the snowboarder, arranged on one side or the other of the shoe can be. All that is needed is the respective binding to be turned by 180 ° with respect to the vertical axis, i.e. mounted in "backward” instead of "forward" direction to become.
- binding controls e.g. Release lever or other handling, depending on the wishes of the snowboarder, arranged on one side or the other of the shoe can be. All that is needed is the respective binding to be turned by 180 ° with respect to the vertical axis, i.e. mounted in "backward” instead of "forward” direction to become.
- a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention is on the shoe sole or as part of the same or in the sole of the shoe is embedded in a dimensionally stable or rigid Fitting piece arranged or attachable, which from above between the shoe holder devices can be used and the with the side parts interacting with the shoe holder devices having.
- the outer sides of the Side parts have a transverse distance corresponding approximately to the sole width from each other and / or from a shoe holder the binding overlapping longitudinal edge and inside the same one connecting the top and bottom of the longitudinal edge
- an opening whose cross-section is dimensioned so large is that snow formed above the longitudinal edge or Ice covering from the shoe holder when entering the binding or when closing the binding through the opening down in Direction of a free space there at the binding can be pushed away.
- the adapter ensures extensive freedom of design for the shoe, especially with regard to its Flexibility. Because the adapter is located in the midfoot area there is no loss of comfort because the stiffening of the sole caused by the fitting in Metatarsal area is practically imperceptible. At the same time becomes a particularly secure fixation of the shoe in the binding guaranteed, especially in the longitudinal direction of the shoe as well as in the vertical direction.
- the adapter can also be part of an adapter or overshoes, with which one is completely arbitrary trained shoe or a very flexible liner connected or incorporated and thus into the bond can be used.
- the snowboarder On the snowboard 1 shown in plan view in FIG. 1 are positions 2 and 3 for the front and rear
- the foot of the snowboarder is shown as an example.
- the snowboarder stands on snowboard 1 with both Feet at an angle to the longitudinal direction of the snowboard 1 forms the forefoot according to position 2 to the transverse direction the snowboard 1 usually has an angle between 20 ° and 50 °, while the rear foot is relative to the cross direction of the snowboard 1 has an angle between 10 ° and 40 °.
- Positions 2 and 3 may be provided. In particular can both feet also exactly or approximately in the transverse direction of the Snowboards 1 be held.
- the snowboard bindings according to the invention are designed that they are practical with regard to positions 2 and 3 offer any freedom.
- Each binding - each assigned to a foot - has one on the top of the snowboard 1, e.g. by means of several Screws 4, detachably held circular disc 5, the Circumferential edge a spaced from the top of the snowboard 1 Collar 6 has.
- the disc 5 is in a correspondingly circular recess a base plate 7 arranged by the collar 6, which is the edge of the circular recess of the base plate 7 overlapped from above against the top of the snowboard 1 is pressed when the disc 5 holding Screws 4 are tightened sufficiently.
- the mutually facing sides of the collar 6 and the base plate 7 or the like with opposing gears be provided so that next to a non-positive holder also a form-fitting mounting of the base plate 7 results.
- the gearing should be comparatively tight Have division to ensure that the base plate 7 at practically any angle relative to the longitudinal or. Transverse axis of the snowboard 1 can be held.
- the toothing mentioned can also be on The outer circumference of the collar 6 can be provided and with counter teeth cooperate on the top of the base plate 7.
- Sole holder 8 On one long side of the base plate 7 there is a stationary one Sole holder 8 arranged, which is designed so that he has a lateral longitudinal edge of a sole 9 of a shoe of the snowboarder overlaps from the side, whereby by the inclined arrangement shown in FIG Edge of the sole 9 overlapping surface 8 'of the sole holder 8 a more or less strong wedging between the sole holder 3 and sole 9 is made possible.
- a movable sole holder 10 is arranged on the opposite side of the sole holder 8 Base plate 7, a movable sole holder 10 is arranged.
- a bearing block 11 is attached to the base plate 7 or molded, on which the sole holder 10 by one to Longitudinal direction of the base plate 7 or the sole 9 parallel Bearing axis 12 is pivotally mounted.
- This bracket 11 has one on the side facing away from the sole holder 8 cam-shaped projection 13, whose function below is explained.
- the sole holder 10 is in the manner of a double-armed lever formed, the lever arm facing away from the sole holder 8 a comparatively large length and that of the sole holder 8 facing lever arm a comparatively short dimension having.
- the latter short lever arm has one Step spur 14, which with the bottom of the shoe sole 9th interacts and when inserting the shoe sole between the Sole holder 8 and 10 against the top of the snowboard 1 or the base plate 7 is depressed, the sole holder 10 in the position of use shown in Fig. 4 pivots and the facing side edge of the shoe sole 9 overlaps a hold-down 15.
- the long lever arm of the sole holder facing away from the sole holder 8 10 has a substantially tubular area, within which a piston 16 is slidably guided is that by means of a helical compression spring 17 which on a Abutment supported in the longer lever arm of the sole holder 10 is against the cam-shaped projection 13 of the bearing block 11 is broken.
- the facing the projection 13 The end face of the piston 16 has an inclined surface on the one hand 16 'which with the cam-shaped projection 13 under the Pressure of the helical compression spring 17 cooperates such that a strong torque on the sole holder 10 in a clockwise direction is exercised as soon as the inclined surface 16 'to the system comes at the projection 13. This torque is so strong that the edge of the shoe sole gripped by the hold-down device 15 9 clamped against the base plate 7 with very great force becomes.
- the recess 16 is dimensioned so that the occurring Locking forces remain limited and the spur 14 with the Shoe sole 9 can be depressed, inevitably then due to the associated pivoting of the sole holder 10 clockwise the inclined surface 16 'on the Projection 13 of the bearing block 11 slides on and the sole holder 10 is pivoted automatically in the position of FIG. 4.
- the tension of the spring 17 and the angle of the inclined arrangement the inclined surface 16 ' are dimensioned so that the hold-down 15 with great force from above against the neighboring one Edge of the shoe sole is stretched.
- a particularly rigid connection between the shoe or sole 9 and to ensure the snowboard 1, in particular also with regard to the transmission of torque with respect to a vertical vertical axis of the snowboard 1, the areas the sole 9, the sole holder 8 or the hold-down 15 cooperate, in the manner of an up and to respective longitudinal side of the shoe open recess on the edge the sole of the shoe 9 may be formed.
- the bottom of the sole can be one Have profiling with a corresponding counter profile on the top of the respective base plate 7 in Intervention stands.
- FIGS. 2 to 4 is on the top of the base plate 7 a longitudinal rib 19 arranged in an opposite Longitudinal groove on the bottom of the sole 9 engages.
- this creates a vertical Vertical axis of the snowboard 1 torsionally rigid connection between Shoe and snowboard 1 guaranteed.
- the longitudinal rib 19 and the longitudinal groove of the sole 9 as Boarding aid together i.e. the shoe is at the entrance in the binding practically inevitably in the target position guided.
- wedge-shaped support pieces at the end regions of the base plate 20 - cf. Fig. 3 - are arranged to the shoe in Toe and / or heel area in opposite to the top of the Snowboards 1 or the top of the base plate 7 increased Support location.
- the support pieces can 20 also in the manner of pins 20 ', preferably such with a large head, be trained and yourself in different, selectable ways in prepared recesses have the base plate 7 inserted, cf. Fig. 2.
- the long lever arm of the sole holder 8 is as Suitable handle with which the sole holder 10 from the clamping position 3 pivoted into the release position and changed over can be.
- this is a cable 21 shown only schematically in FIG. 4 provided, in the example shown in the manner of a pulley is trained.
- a Rope 22 attached to an abutment 23, which in turn arranged on a lateral extension 24 of the base plate 7 is.
- the rope 22 runs from this abutment 23 over a near the free end of the larger lever arm of the Sole holder 10 arranged roller 25, from there on a Extension 24 arranged roller 26 and from there through an eyelet at the free end of the larger lever arm of the sole holder 10 to a spherical handle 27, for example.
- Coil 28 arranged by one example spiral spring 29 is subjected to a limited torque is such that the winding 28 excess rope 22 wind up with relatively little force and that Handle 27 against the longer lever arm of the sole holder 10 seeks to bring to the plant.
- the base plate 101 has a large central circular opening 102, which means the one of the edges of the circular opening 102 covering flange plate, not shown, can be covered which is screwed to the snowboard or the like lets and the base plate 101 against the top of the Snowboards tense.
- the flange plate is made by means of several Screws not rotatable on the snowboard or the like.
- Shoes serve a stationary shoe holder 105 and a movable one Shoe holder 106, which is shown in below Way arranged on the sole longitudinal edges Side parts work together.
- the movable shoe holder 106 when placing the snowboard boot on the base plate 101 from a self-holding release position into a clamping position resigned, as also explained below becomes.
- a rigid adapter 110 is arranged between the heel and the ball of the foot, which in principle in any way with the remaining sole is firmly connected.
- the adapter 110 consists essentially from two firmly connected plates 112 and 113, each of a generally rectangular shape as well as on the narrow sides open to the middle Have recesses 114 and 115. These recesses 114 and 115 have the same depth as shown in FIG. 9, but the recesses 115 of the lower plate 113 a larger one Have width than the recesses 114 of the top plate 112. On the side of the lower plate facing the upper plate 112 Plate 113 two parallel grooves 116 are arranged, their respective outer flanks a distance from each other corresponding to the width of the recesses 115.
- the grooves 116 take the longitudinal parts of a rectangular one Frame 117, the frame members of which are circular Cross section.
- the frame 117 is arranged so that its shorter frame members with their facing away from each other Sides with the corresponding outer sides of the bottom Plate 113 are aligned. By joining plates 112 and 113 together are firmly riveted, the frame 117 between the plates 112 and 113 firmly and immovably clamped.
- the top of the web areas 117 ' is slightly lower than the top of the longitudinal edge of the shoe sole.
- FIG. 7 shows how the shoe holder 105 and 106 cooperate with the adapter 110.
- the shoe holder overlaps 105 and 106, the web areas 117 'of the frame 117, respectively from above with a nose 109, each shaped like this is that they are also on the outer sides facing away from each other the web areas 117 'abut. Otherwise, the noses have 109 in the plan view of FIG. 105 a shape that corresponds to the shape the recesses 114 of the plate 112 of the fitting 110 adapted is.
- the fitting 110 is held by positive locking with the shoe holders 105 and 106 or their lugs 109 both in the longitudinal and transverse directions of the binding, ie in the direction of the double arrows P 1 and P 2 in FIG. 5.
- a vertical movement, ie a movement in the direction of the double arrow P 3 in FIG. 7, is prevented in the upward direction by the interaction of the web regions 117 'with the lugs 109 of the shoe holders 105 and 106. No movement can occur in the downward direction because the fitting 110 is supported via the shoe sole 111 on the base plate 101 or on cushion-like support elements 120, which are held captive or replaceable in openings 104 of the base plate 101.
- the movable shoe holder 106 by means of a handle 121 from the clamping position shown in Fig. 7 clockwise adjusted to a release position so that the shoe with the fitting 110 upwards from the area of the shoe holder 105 and 106 can be lifted out.
- the movable shoe holder takes 106 also initially his release position. Then the shoe with the fitting 110 between the shoe holder 105 and 106 used, such that the fitting 110th with a web area 117 'a position below the nose 109 of the fixed shoe holder 105. If so the shoe is depressed, the web area pushes 117 ' on the side facing the movable shoe holder 106 of the fitting 110 on one arranged on the shoe holder 106 Spur 108 and swings the shoe holder 106 into the in Fig. 7 locking position shown, so that the adapter 110 in turn takes the clamping position shown there, the binding is in turn designed as a so-called step-in binding.
- the tread surface of the step spur 108 is spherical, because in this case the spur can also be special Gently step down when the shoe comes in binding with the toe or heel at an angle is inclined downwards.
- the shoe can be in opposite directions Directions inserted into the binding, i.e. with the Shoe holders 105 and 106 are locked.
- the shoe sole 111 can be comparatively in front of and behind the adapter 110 to be flexible. If only the shoe interlocked with the binding via the fitting 110 there would still be a very high degree of compliance, especially at torques with respect to the axis of the Shinbone (tibia).
- longitudinal webs 123 and / or knob-like Projections 124 preferably of relatively large size Cross section can be arranged and with opposite recesses 123 'and 124' cooperate on the underside of the shoe sole 111.
- longitudinal webs 123 and projections 124 Owiederum so symmetrical to the longitudinal and transverse axes of the binding arranged that the shoe in opposite to each other Directions, i.e. in forward and backward direction, in the binding can be used.
- the aforementioned support elements 120 are also corresponding Way arranged symmetrically so that the sole of the shoe both when clamping the shoe in the forward direction as well when clamping in the reverse direction in a similar manner is supported.
- the fitting 110 In the width direction of the shoe, the fitting 110 preferably has a dimension of 90 to 100 mm, preferably 94.63 mm. This ensures for every shoe size (for adults) that the shoe sole is neither excessively wide nor excessive must be narrow.
- the distance of the lugs 109 the shoe holder 105 and 106 from each other in the locked position located shoe holder 106 is about 10 mm less than the dimension of the fitting 110 in the width direction of the shoe, so that the mentioned lugs 109 the fitting under all circumstances can safely overlap.
- the above is preferably located Distance of the lugs 109 at 84 mm.
- the longitudinal distance of the protrusions 124 on the base 101 is also dimensioned so that different A good locking of the shoe sole on the shoe length Stand plate 101 results. This measure is preferred slightly less than twice the distance of the lugs 109 from one another. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the said distance - measured from center to center of the projections 124 - at 152 mm.
- the shoe holder 106 is preferably designed so that it can also step down into a lockable position, if on the bottom of the shoe sole 111 snow or ice cling to. So it is a larger so-called snow span given.
- the shoe holder 106 automatically - active by a suspension - Retensioned until it is completely melted Snow or ice with regard to an end position or an overdead position the suspension reached.
- the adapter 110 shown in FIGS. 13 and 14 is as stamped sheet metal part formed. This has a plate-shaped Middle area 130, on the side extensions Connect 131 with angular profile-shaped edges 131 '.
- roller-shaped web parts 134 are arranged, for example by means of pin-shaped Ends or axes in bores on the flanks of the end pieces 133 recorded and 135 welded are supported. If necessary, there is also a rotatable arrangement of the roller-shaped web parts 134 possible.
- Fig. 14 is the shoe sole area in which the fitting 110 is embedded, schematized, indicated by dashed lines.
- the adapter can be used for anchoring in the sole area 110 connected to a plate 136 on its top, e.g. riveted, being between the top of the fitting 110 and the facing underside of plate 136 Structural parts of the sole area, for example an im Be embedded in the sole area embedded foot shell part can.
- Fig. 15 shows in part A a special training at the Stand plate 101 of the binding arranged longitudinal webs 123, which cooperate with the recess 123 'in the shoe sole.
- part B the formation of the projection 124 shown in more detail, which with the sole-side recess 124 'cooperates.
- the webs 123 form a double web arrangement, the sides of the webs 123 facing away from each other as steep Flanks are formed while facing each other Sides of the webs are designed as ramp-like flanks.
- the recess 123 'on the sole side is designed such that they only with the aforementioned steep outer flanks Crosspieces 123 can interact positively and between the a space 140 remains in both webs 123. If at Entry into the binding on the underside of the sole in the area If the recess 123 'adheres to snow, it can stick to the Put the shoe on the base 101 in the mentioned Space 140 to be displaced into it, so that the webs 123 despite the snow in positive engagement with the Recess 123 'can be brought.
- the projection 124 which is circular in plan view, is in accordance with part B of FIG. 15 from an annular web with a steep outside and ramp-like flat inside, while the associated sole-side recess 124 'as essentially Cup-like recess is formed so that within the A free space 141 remains on the annular web of the projection 124, in the snow adhering in the area of the recess 124 ' when the shoe is placed on the base plate 101 can be.
- two nub-like can also be on the base plate Projections spaced apart from each other be and with a slot-like in plan view Interact positively in the sole, whereby there is a space for receiving between the knob-like projections of snow remains.
