Definitions
- the invention relates to a bit adapter according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a bit adapter is known from DE-OS 39 15 458.
- This bit adapter is particularly good Transmission of torsional forces even when sensitive, namely brittle hard metal plates on the side and in the middle stick out.
- the torsion transmission takes place with this known solution on the side flanks of the drill head Side walls of a correspondingly shaped blind hole or one Guide bushing.
- the bit adapter can be hammered or the like from the drill bit on which it is stuck.
- the user tends to try the stuck bit adapter by simply pulling it off Separate drill.
- This handling there is an increased Risk of injury as the user feels very easy the sharp-edged and practically all-round cutting edge having the helix of the drill. This danger is in use by inexperienced handyman who only use the bit adapter at longer intervals greater.
- bit adapter is known from DE-OS 25 09 961.
- this bit adapter has a rotary drive at the rear end so that the drill is practically in the bit adapter must be screwed in to be effective will.
- This configuration is cumbersome, because opening and closing Stake out requires multiple turns and Operate the drill until the bit adapter is complete is attached.
- an operation for turning to the left is the Screws, usually to loosen the screws, problematic because the drill then tends to come out of the Unscrew the bit adapter.
- a longitudinal slot is provided the stump ends and practically on the protruding ones Tungsten carbide plates of the drill provide a turning option offers.
- the hard metal plate becomes strong torsion, but the drill itself is not suitable is.
- the radial projection is the Hard metal plate also so low that the hard metal plate only very little enters the longitudinal slot and then due to the small contact area particularly strong on its outer edges is charged. After the hard metal plate is very hard, however is also brittle, it tends to under unfavorable stress conditions Break out.
- this known solution is only suitable if not only drills with the same nominal size, but also with the same Spiral diameters are used. Although the nominal size of drills from different manufacturers are regularly the same. The spiral diameter, i.e. the protrusion of the hard metal plate, however, varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. With a reduced nominal size, the known drill bit is not clean guided while he is at a too high level of the drill helix tends to get stuck in the guide bush.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of a bit adapter according to the preamble of claim 1 to create the with regard to the materials used on the one hand and the Compliance with the tolerances for the dimensions of the drill on the other hand is less critical and basically also for the setting of bolts is suitable.
- the configuration according to the invention allows despite the use structurally very simple measures surprisingly an improved Usability of the bit adapter.
- the invention Bitadapter no longer tends to get stuck on the drill.
- the axial load capacity is particularly good, so that even placing bolts over hammer drill drills is possible.
- bit adapter according to the invention - at least in the region of the blind hole or Guide bush base - consists of hardened steel.
- the essentially as a line support on the hard metal plate The proposed system, on the one hand, allows good axial power transmission, with the drill loaded similarly becomes like hammer drilling, i.e. in a designated one Way in which he is particularly resilient.
- the line support may lead to a very slight material displacement, which the uniformity of power transmission still improved, but still no danger of jamming conjured up, essentially becoming a Surface support comes.
- the tolerance insensitivity of the bit adapter according to the invention arises especially when designing the rear Part of the guide bush made of an elastic material such as Plastic.
- the bit adapter in the rear can also be used Part comparatively thin, so that it elastic due to the drill to be inserted when inserted is expanded.
- This type of plug-in has the special one Advantage that the bit adapter is not accidentally removed from the drill drops, as is the case with the prior art, in particular with the State of the art according to DE-OS 25 09 961, the case can.
- the solution according to the invention initially offers the special one Advantage that it has improved leadership precision. Due to the undersize of the slot thickness for insertion of the drill, the guide bush is held securely the tip of the drill while it is in a play-free fit supports the upper end on the drill helix.
- the slot When tightening the screw, the slot can be flattened or flattened Guide bushing end area for torque transmission easily be resiliently spread, without the guiding accuracy would be affected. Surprisingly, this also leads to that there is over-tightening of the screw with high torque can be avoided more easily because the elastic spreading works at the same time promoting for braking the drilling machine up to Response to the torque limit set.
- Such a torque limitation is relevant if the screw is not braked softly during the screwing-in process is, but for example due to the use of a large pitch of the helix, one comparatively hard dowel material and a hard stop of the Regularly screw on a sudden contact of the screw their end stop.
- the wear resistance of the invention is surprising Bit adapters or drill bit particularly well.
- a lateral protrusion of the hard metal plate over the drill helix over a corresponding Slot broadening can be considered to be a radial contact between the hard metal plate and the Avoid drill bit safely.
- Drill tip with a metallic part of the drill bit to bring in and a rear spiral area of the Drill with a plastic part of the drill attachment in the system bring to.
- the two parts of the drill bit can be inside as flush with each other on the outside, by in in a known manner, the plastic part to the metal part is injected. It is preferred in this context provided, in the area of torque transmission of the drill tip adjacent the material thickness of the metal part comparatively choose thin so that there is a corresponding increased material thickness for the plastic part results.
- a rounded one Transition between the top of the slot and the adjoining area of the guide bush provided. This acts as an investment shoulder for the transmission of axial forces during screwing operation of the invention Drill attachment.
- the transition between the metal part and the is preferred Plastic part of the drill attachment according to the invention for the Torque transmission designed appropriately.
- the cut surface therefore deviates from the circular shape, and the invention Accordingly, the drill bit has a lower inclination to twist in itself, so that the spread of the slot greater resistance is also opposed.
- the slot not only be at the very bottom the blind hole forming the guide bush, but just above the end of the guide bush. Resulting from this then become more elastic at the lower end of the blind hole, side walls or inner walls delimiting the slot, so that it is easier to find tolerances between the individual drills and / or deviations in the shape of the To compensate for the drill tip depending on the manufacturer of the drill.
- Drill attachment is integrated. Drills do indeed Screwing devices, i.e. with speed control, often corresponding torque limiters in the form of slip clutches with adjustable pulling power. According to one particularly favorable aspect of the invention, the drill attachment according to the invention is also used commercially extremely robust hammer drills to be used use that regularly via no electronic control speed control and have a corresponding slip clutch.
- the slip clutch can be used as a torque limitation in the drill attachment be formed in any suitable manner, wherein it is preferred that the hexagon or square socket for the Screwdriver bit to be used against latching resistance is rotatably guided on the rest of the drill bit.
- the screwdriver bit can be held over a Permanent magnets are made, which is adjacent to the screwdriver bit or the corresponding recording is attached and about regular ferrometallic screwdriver bits also on the screw works and holds, which is especially true for Phillips screws is an advantage.
- the drill attachment according to the invention is suitable both for screwing operations, so for tightening or loosening screws as well suitable for hammer drilling.
- When used in hammer drilling it is used to set bolts that go over the hammer boring machine Received blows with this design is preferred, a blind hole as an extension of the guide bush to provide such that an axial power transmission comparatively low wear is realized.
- a further, preferred embodiment of the invention provides a handle that allows the drill bit, who holds the corresponding screwdriver bit with his free hand better and especially near the screw.
- This is a bushing is provided on the outer surface of the drill bit is attached and a slide bearing for a handle forms, which is hand-friendly concave.
- it is also possible to use the handle by appropriate application of force in its axial Change position to a depending on the user's request near the screw or - when setting screws in a corresponding depth - objected to by the screws to provide.
- the bit adapter or drill bit 10 shown in FIG. 1 is made of a metal part 12 and a molded plastic part 14 trained.
- the metal part 12 has on his front and in the illustration according to FIG. 1 left end Known hexagon socket 16 for a screwdriver bit 17 on.
- the hexagon receptacle with an insertion bevel is preferred 18 provided in order to insert the screwdriver bit 17 facilitate.
- the drill attachment 10 also has a guide bush 20 for a drill 22.
- the guide bush 20 is on her upper end 24 exclusively from the plastic part 14 and in their remaining area from the plastic part 14 and the metal part 12 formed, which overlap each other.
- the plastic part 14 surrounds the metal part 12.
- the guide bushing 20 forms a smooth surface on the inside, which is free of play on the drill 22, namely rests on the drill helix 26. Is in this area the guide bushing 20 is circular on the inside and outside.
- the drill bit 28 in a slot 30 of the Guide bushing 20 held as a taper of the guide bushing 20 in a lower region of the guide bush 20 is formed and can be seen more clearly from FIG. 2.
- the Slot 30 may have an undersize compared to the thickness of the Drill tip 28 so that it is slightly through the drill tip 28 is pressed and then under pressure on the two side surfaces 32 and 34 of the drill bit 28 abuts.
- the side faces 32 and 34 extend here partially Tungsten carbide plate 36 overlapping from this somewhat to the rear, until the drill helix 26 begins.
- the whole area of Side surfaces 34 are used in the slot 30 exploited to the largest possible power transmission areas for To make available.
- the slot 30 has a conical blind hole base 38 a cone angle of about 130 ° at which the drill 22 with its hard metal plate 36 abuts.
- the slot 30 ends at its top with a fillet or flat, as can be seen from Fig. 2.
- Drill attachment 10 in a wide range to meet the requirements is customizable.
- the slot 30 can follow be slightly tapered below to add another Axial support to the side of the carbide plate 36 can be provided.
- Axial support is a fairly high one Contact surface should be provided, which is clearly on the two Helps supports and wear due to the attachment of Avoid cutting edges of the drill helix 26 safely.
