Definitions
- the invention relates to a double-leaf glass door with a central stop for fire protection purposes each with a protective agent that foams up in the event of a fire containing fire screen, as well as with the edges of the fire screen encompassing frame parts consisting of metal profiles, the frame parts arranged in the area of the center stop being assembled from Schenkein, which is parallel to the surfaces of the fire protection window extend from one of the narrow end faces of the fire protection window opposite bridge between the two legs, and also from a stop bar arranged essentially at right angles to the web.
- Such glass doors are found both individually and as a door element within fire protection glazing composed of several glass surfaces Application.
- the fire protection panes are often made of multiple layers of glass panes with a fire protection layer arranged in between.
- a protective agent contained in this fire protection layer is activated, whereby the fire protection window absorbs heat radiation and a highly effective Insulating layer forms. This causes the fire protection glass to become cloudy hand in hand, so that from the originally transparent glazing practically opaque fire protection wall.
- Fire protection panes are extremely sensitive to mechanical stress. This applies particularly to the end faces of the fire protection panes. But also from a fire protection point of view Frame construction has higher requirements than conventional glass doors posed. In particular, the heat conduction through the door profiles must not have great values.
- the invention has for its object to provide a double-leaf glass door with a central stop for fire protection purposes, with which comparatively low temperatures can be achieved on the side facing away from the source of the fire in the event of a fire.
- the stop bar has a cavity formed by deforming an elongated metal strip.
- Such a glass door can be created with relatively little assembly effort.
- Particularly critical heat transfer in the area of the stop bar becomes clear reduced by the stop bar with a during the deformation process of the metal strip formed cavity is provided.
- the so educated The stop bar is of double-walled design, with the outer, wall of the stop bar that heats up particularly strongly in the event of fire only indirectly over the inside wall of the stop bar with the inside of the frame is in a thermally conductive connection. In this way In case of fire a reduction in heat conduction from one side of the glass door reached on their other side.
- the heat transfer in the two can be done according to the same principle Reduce the legs of the frame parts.
- the both tavern! one by deforming an elongated metal strip formed cavity.
- the cavity can be filled with a fire protection agent that cools under heat be filled.
- the metal profile is a metal strip by repeatedly deforming the web, at least one of the two Leg and, by deforming a section between the web and the leg, the stop bar is formed.
- Such a metal profile can be low Effort from an existing steel sheet due to multiple folding getting produced.
- a further metal profile is a multiply deformed metal strip, and that the on the another metal profile molded on tavern! from two mutually parallel sections this metal strip, which at the free end of the Legs connected to each other via a single or multiple deflection are.
- To avoid additional fasteners for those in the area of The middle stop of the double-leaf glass door may require a seal between the outer of the two sections forming the leg the further metal profile and the web is a gap in which a seal can be used, in particular by pinching them between each other opposite end faces of section and web.
- the rectangular fire protection window on all four edges with frame parts is provided, of which initially to simplify assembly three frame parts are firmly connected, then the fire protection window is inserted into the subframe thus formed and finally the last missing frame part is attached.
- the glass door shown in Fig. 1 consists of a door frame 1, in the two hinged 2 glass doors are used.
- the two Glass doors can be locked against each other in the area of a center stop 3.
- a locking device with lock case 3a is in a glass door used.
- the glass is provided with a corresponding cutout at this point.
- Each of the two glass doors is made up of a fire protection window 4 and one this all around frame 5 together.
- the frame 5 sets itself out of frame parts 6, 7, 8, 9 along the upper and lower edges as well the vertical edges of the fire protection window 4 together.
- the frame parts 6, 7, and 8 each consist of one-piece metal profiles with identical Cross-section, whereas the frame part 9 forming the center stop each of the two glass doors made of two interconnected metal profiles is composed.
- the fire protection pane 4 is is a special laminated glass which consists of several glass panes 4a there are fire protection layers 4b arranged between them. In case of fire these fire protection layers 4b are activated, giving off heat radiation absorb and thus form an effective insulation layer, which the passage prevented from fire and smoke. The activation of the fire protection layers leads 4b in the event of a fire causing them to foam and clouding assume that a practically opaque fire wall arises.
- the frame parts 6, 7, 8, 9 together form a support structure for the Fire protection window 4.
- the frame parts 6, 7, 8 and 9 are regarding of its cross section U-shaped with legs 10, 11, 12, which extend parallel to the surfaces of the fire protection pane 4, and a web 13, 14 between the two legs 10 or 11 and 12, the web 13 or 14 of the respective narrow end face 15 of the fire protection pane 4 opposite.
- the frame parts 6, 7, 8 differ on the one hand and that Middle stop 3 forming frame part 9 on the other hand.
- Each of the frame parts 6, 7, 8 consists of a metal profile, which by multiple deformation of a single elongated metal strip is made, on which therefore by suitable folding both the two legs 10 and the web 13 are formed.
- the free ends of the legs 10 with a 180 ° fold 16 provided, the direction of the fold is such that the folded surfaces 17 with the interposition of a silicone layer 18 on the Edge areas of the fire protection pane 4 lie flat and there with the Glue the fire protection window.
- the 180 ° fold 16 makes assembly easier the glass door, as a result of the rounded edges in the area of the fold 16 the fire protection pane 4 better with its end face 15 in the frame part can be used or the frame part conversely better on the fire protection window can be put on, which are explained in more detail below becomes.
- the fold 16 is a tight fold, i.e. the inside folded surface 17 lies directly on the unfolded surface of the Leg 10 on. Furthermore, in the frame parts 6, 7, 8, the web 13 with a directed towards the end face 15 of the fire protection pane 4 Indentation 19 provided.
- the indentation 19, which extends almost over the entire The width of the web 13 extends, is used to accommodate a strip 20 from a material foaming under the influence of heat. Since the strip is 20 in the recess 19 sits, it is not visible from the outside and also in front of mechanical Injuries protected.
- a joint 21 Between the end face 15 of the fire protection window 4 and the opposite one Web 13 is a joint 21, in which the protective agent in the event of fire the fire protection layer 4b can escape with the joint sealed.
- the joint between the door frame and door frame 1 is in the event of fire by strips 20 foaming under the influence of heat are sealed.
- the frame part 9 is composed of a total of two metal profiles 24, 25, each of which is a multi-deformed, elongated Metal strip.
- the main function here is the metal strip 24 to. This is the one by multiple bending of the metal strip Tavern 12, the stop bar 23 and the web 14 are formed.
- the design 2 is such that, starting from the substantially flat Web 14, the stop bar 23 adjoins this at right angles, the stop bar 23 then over two mutually rectangular bends merges into the leg 12, which over the support and sealing layer 18 is supported on one edge of the fire protection window 4.
- both the stop bar 23 and the leg 12 with inclusion a cavity 26 or 27 formed.
- This cavity 26 or 27 is the metal at the ends of stop bar 23 and leg 12 not bent by 180 °, but twice by 90 °.
- the cavities 26, 27 reduce the heat load on the inner section in the event of a fire of the leg 12 and the stop bar 23 and thus improve overall the thermal properties of the frame part 9. Otherwise Leg 12 shaped in the same direction as the leg 10 of the other frame parts, i.e. the reshaped surface at the end of the leg is inside and thus next to the edge of the pane.
- the cavities 26, 27 can with a when exposed to heat cooling fire protection agent 34 may be filled.
- the other metal strip 25, on the other hand, which is exclusively the formation of the serves other leg 11, has a different direction of deformation.
- a first section 28 extends parallel to the web 14 and is fixed with connected to this first section 28 is in the right Angle a second section 29, which by means of the support and sealing layer 18 supports the fire protection window 4.
- Over two spaced 90 ° bends 30 finally includes a parallel to the second section 29 third section 31, which forms the outer surface of the leg 11.
- the leg 11 is therefore advantageous in terms of heat technology Provided cavity 27, and preferably filled with fire retardant 34.
- connection between the two metal strips 24, 25 can be made by the first section 28 of the metal strip 25 with that on the metal strip 24 trained web 14 is welded or riveted. Between the free The ends of the web 14 and the third section 31 remain small Gap 32 into which a seal 33 can be inserted, preferably through Pinching in the gap.
- connection between the first section 28 and web 14 may be provided with a thermal break, e.g. by using a Insulating strip and a spot weld or by use of rivets.
- Strips 20 of heat foaming material are arranged.
- the assembly of the glass door is very simple. First, three frame parts the frame construction, e.g. the frame parts 6, 8 and 9, to a three-sided Frame welded. In the open side of this three-sided frame then the fire protection window inserted, ensuring a safe guide takes place along the frame parts arranged in the direction of insertion. After this the fire protection window is fixed in this three-sided frame, eventually the fourth and last frame part, e.g. the frame part 7, on the relevant The edge of the fire protection window and the two neighboring ones Frame parts welded or screwed, creating the frame is complete.
- the fourth and last frame part e.g. the frame part 7, on the relevant The edge of the fire protection window and the two neighboring ones Frame parts welded or screwed, creating the frame is complete.
