Claims (17)
- Procédé de conditionnement d'au moins un volume de matériau compressible dans lequel chaque volume est placé entre deux surfaces de pressage disposées en regard l'une de l'autre et est transporté avec elles latéralement par rapport à la direction de pressage tandis que les surfaces de pressage se rapprochent l'une de l'autre, les deux surfaces de pressage avançant à la même vitesse dans la direction du transport, caractérisé en ce que les surfaces sont parallèles deux à deux dès que débute la compression et le restent constamment pendant leur rapprochement et en ce que la direction de pressage reste parallèle à elle-même au cours du transport.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les surfaces de pressage sont celles de plaques portées par des chariots associés deux à deux.
- Procédé selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que chacun des chariots est associé à un chariot qui le précède et à un autre qui le suit, pour constituer deux trains animés d'un mouvement synchrone, notamment à vitesse constante.

- Procédé selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que la gaine est réalisée à partir de films d'emballage entraínés en même temps que le produit à emballer disposés en deux bandes placées au-dessus et au-dessous du volume de matériau, entre le volume et les surfaces convoyeuses, en ce que la largeur des bandes leur permet de se recouvrir sur les côtés du volume dans la direction du transport et en ce qu'elles sont liées l'une à l'autre en continu sur lesdits côtés du volume.
- Procédé selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que le film d'emballage est un film plastique, en ce que les bandes sont liées par soudure sans changer de plan et en ce que, après assemblage, la soudure est sollicitée en cisaillement.
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le volume de matériau compressible est constitué de panneaux de laine minérale, notamment de laine de verre, superposés.
- Dispositif pour comprimer et conditionner un volume (1) de matériau compressible comprenant deux transporteurs convergents situés l'un au-dessus de l'autre comportant une zone de compression et une zone d'emballage, animés d'un mouvement synchrone, notamment à vitesse constante, et comprenant chacun au moins une plaque (3 ; 5) plane, ces plaques étant disposées en regard les unes des autres dans les zones de compression et d'emballage, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte des chariots (4 ; 6) supportant lesdites plaques planes qu'ils entraínent, et des moyens (11, 12, 13, 14) pour rapprocher lesdites plaques planes l'une de l'autre dans la zone de compression et pour maintenir lesdites plaques parallèles à un même plan dans toute la zone de compression et de préférence jusqu'à la sortie de la zone d'emballage.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 9, caractérisé en ce que les plaques planes correspondantes sur un transporteur (3) et sur l'autre (5) sont toutes symétriques par rapport à un même plan qui leur est parallèle.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 9 ou la revendication 10, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte, associé à chaque transporteur, un distributeur (26) d'une bande de film plastique (25) disposé de manière à mettre une bande (35) en contact avec la plaque (3) du premier chariot inférieur (4) et une autre en contact avec celle (5) du premier chariot supérieur (6) et en ce que les bandes de film plastique (25) ont une largeur leur permettant de se superposer sur les côtés des volumes (1) de matériau comprimé.
- Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 9 à 11, caractérisé en ce que les transporteurs convergents comportent, en aval de la zone de compression, une zone où l'écart entre plaques correspondantes est sensiblement invariable.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 12, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte, notamment dans la zone où l'écart entre plaques est sensiblement invariable, des éléments conformateurs (28, 31) destinés à placer les bords des bandes (34, 35) de film plastique superposées, à plat sur les côtés des volumes de matériau comprimé.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 13, caractérisé en ce que, en aval des éléments conformateurs (28, 31), on a placé des moyens pour réaliser la soudure des bords des bandes (34, 35) de film plastique tels que des chalumeaux à air chaud (33).
- Dispositif selon la revendication 14, caractérisé en ce que, à la sortie des transporteurs, des moyens sont installés pour souder et/ou couper les films plastique (25) entre volumes (1) de matériau comprimé successifs.
- Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 9 à 15, caractérisé en ce que, sur chaque transporteur, les chariots (4, 6) sont liés à une extrémité à une chaíne (7, 8) qui les tire le long de la zone de compression et d'emballage et qui les pousse pendant leur retour et en ce qu'ils comportent à l'autre extrémité un moyen de guidage, tel qu'un galet (9, 10), circulant sur un guide (11, 12, 13, 14), tel qu'un rail et en ce que le guide comporte deux parties, l'une (11, 12) pour l'aller, l'autre (13, 14) pour le retour.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 16, caractérisé en ce qu'aux extrémités des transporteurs, des éléments (17 ; 20) du guide sont mobiles pour permettre le passage des chariots d'une partie (11, 12) du guide à l'autre (13, 14).
