Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for cleaning dishes and a kit of pre-cleaner and main cleaner for use in this process.
- the automatic cleaning of dishes is widespread both in the private and in the commercial sector.
- the use of enzyme-containing cleaners for this purpose is known, for example, from EP-B-0 578 666.
- Difficulties in the automatic cleaning of dishes are often the removal of tannins, particularly those contained in coffee and tea, which are deposited on the dishes, for example in the form of iron complexes, and form unsightly deposits there.
- Aggressive (e.g. highly alkaline or chlorine-containing) cleaning agents are usually required to remove tannin deposits.
- To remove protein and starch deposits it has been proposed to precede the machine cleaning with a soaking bath that contains both enzymes and complexing agents (DE-A-17 92 359) . However, since the soaking bath is not part of the mechanical cleaning, this process proves to be cumbersome.
- the invention has for its object a method for Clean dishes to create that without using them overly aggressive detergents a large distance of tanning agents or tanning agents on dishes enables.
- cleaning solution e.g. pre or main cleaning solution
- cleaning solution means actually in contact with the dishes brought solution, usually by diluting one Cleaner with water is obtained.
- the cleaning solution can in ready-to-use preparation in a storage container be present and without further dilution with the dishes be brought into contact, however, usually the Cleaning solution from a cleaner (usually a concentrate) obtained by dilution with water.
- pre-cleaning refers to the main cleaning upstream process, which is not necessarily the first Process step must be.
- pre-cleaning steps which are not in claim 1 are defined, upstream.
- a first Pre-cleaning step pre-rinsing to remove coarse dirt be provided.
- pre-rinsing to remove coarse dirt be provided.
- Such pre-rinsing or clearing advantageously takes place only with water without additives of cleaning agents, in particular enzymatic cleaning agents, instead of. It has been shown that after clearing residues of detergent remaining on the dishes have the effect affect the pre-cleaner solution sprayed on in step a) can.
- Is a complexing agent for alkaline earth ions any substance that contains alkaline earth ions (especially calcium and / or magnesium) can complex in aqueous solution.
- a enzymatic detergent solution is a wash liquor called enzymes contains as active cleaning substances.
- the main cleaning solution will contain other active ingredients such as Contain surfactants, defoamers and other additives.
- Rinsing encompasses all of the invention Main cleaning subsequent cleaning and / or Rinsing steps. Within the scope of the invention it is conceivable that another to the main cleaning according to the invention Main cleaning step with another cleaner connects. The usual main cleaning then follows this Rinse and / or rinse. As a rule, however main cleaning according to the invention immediately rinsing (usually with a normal rinse aid), if necessary also a Follow (further) rinsing with water. All of these variations are used by the term "rinsing" used in claim 1 includes.
- the invention is based on the surprising finding that the combination of a pre-cleaning step with those in claim 1 mentioned agents and a subsequent main cleaning with an enzymatic cleaning solution to a special good tannin removal. This was for the specialist not to be expected since neither an organic acid nor one complexing agent and one enzymatic cleaner each by itself a good cleaning effect against tannins having.
- the pre-cleaning step alone leads accordingly to none or at most to a minor one Removal of tannins or tannin deposits, seems but figuratively speaking to "loosen” it so that a Extensive removal in the subsequent main cleaning step is possible with an enzymatic cleaner.
- the precleaner can contain mono- and / or dicarboxylic acids with 1-3 Contain carbon atoms. Preferred among these acids are ants and / or acetic acid, formic acid is particularly preferred.
- a 0.1-80% strength, for example, can be used as the pre-cleaner 30-50%, more preferably about 40% solution of formic acid in water (preferably fully desalinated or fully softened Use water with less than 0.1 ° dH).
- Lower concentrated formic acid solutions e.g. 5 - 10%
- the cleaning solution preferably contains 0.01 - 1%, more preferably 0.05 - 0.2% formic acid.
