Definitions
- the invention relates on an adhesive dispenser with the features of the preamble of claim 1 and to a process for filling this adhesive dispenser from the rear.
- the bottom part is essentially anchoring-free Forms the profile part such as, for example, from FIG. 7 shows that he manually from the receptacle can be pulled out and separated from it.
- Critical this is particularly so in view of the fact that the standing adhesive, namely super glue, when improper Use and especially if it has the full cross section of the receptacle with the bottom part removed can cause unpredictable damage. This is true especially when children manipulate on Peel off the bottom part and get in contact with the glue come.
- Another disadvantage of this known Adhesive dispenser is that its manufacture elaborately designed because the bottom part and the lock are separate Represent elements that are assembled separately need what correspondingly complex process steps required.
- the DE-C2-41 04 871 concerns an application device for a liquid application medium.
- known device is a liquid application medium for Writing, drawing, painting or marking certain liquids considered, but not a liquid adhesive.
- a relatively small opening is used in the bottom part for filling on the back and if necessary Refill. After filling or refilling this relatively small opening through a releasable closure sealed, for example as a hinged closure over a Film hinge can be integrally connected to the bottom part.
- the shaft-like receiving body for the liquid and the Closure of the opening in the bottom part should in particular have oval or elongated cross-sectional shape.
- Receptacle and its bottom part are, but consist of two parts, in particular the bottom part with a body forming a hollow profile inserted into the receptacle is intended to be permanent permanent connection, for example by welding, Glue or be made using beads. This The type of connection requires a separate operation for attaching.
- Adhesive dispenser especially for cyanoacrylate, known has a receptacle, the cross section of which is approximately oval can be, and that through its initially still free end Opening is filled with the adhesive.
- a Bottom part completed, that with an open hollow cylinder protrudes into the bottom part and one at the bottom level larger diameter than the open hollow cylinder trained ring flange on the end End face of the receptacle comes to rest. Thereby can, if you do without a further processing step would, the bottom part from the receptacle easily be pulled out axially again.
- this Adhesive dispenser takes place as a further processing step for the purpose of irreversible connection and sealing of Receptacle and bottom part against each other Ultrasonic welding of these components together.
- this ultrasonic welding and for a Escaping trapped air when inserting the Bottom part is in the container before reaching the end stop it is necessary that between the in the Receptacle engaging hollow cylinder of the bottom part and a free of the inner wall surface of the receptacle Air gap remains.
- the invention has for its object a Glue dispenser with the characteristics of the generic term of Claim 1 to create the without the mentioned risks of foaming due to unwanted pre-polymerization under action of air humidity can be filled, without doing so after final connection of the receptacle and bottom part still a post-processing step like one To need ultrasonic welding or the like.
- a Glue dispenser with the characteristics of the generic term of Claim 1 to create the without the mentioned risks of foaming due to unwanted pre-polymerization under action of air humidity can be filled, without doing so after final connection of the receptacle and bottom part still a post-processing step like one To need ultrasonic welding or the like.
- there its structure should be chosen so that even a reinforcement of securing the bottom part against unwanted separation from the receptacle is possible.
- the dependent claim 19 provides for the receptacle to be replaced by the one still present fill a large free end cross-section, before the bottom part is pushed into the receptacle.
- the base part serving as the base cover in the receiving part then becomes the filling opening in the previously known case serving relatively small opening in the bottom part as a vent for during the indentation movement in the Receptacle uses displaced air.
- her Closure thus serves the opening in the invention Bottom part as a vent valve, which after filling is irreversibly sealed. A refill through this opening is different within the scope of the invention than in not thought of the known case.
- the irreversible locking of the receptacle and bottom part saves separate welding, adhesive or beading operations and reduces final assembly of the adhesive dispenser on both mating processes when connecting the receptacle with the bottom part as also when closing their opening with the closure, as far as with the previously known applicator a plug closure is provided.
- the required sealing of the receptacle against the bottom part can be done in many ways for example, by designing the locking device at the same time as a sealing device or by positive interference of the body of the base part protruding into the receptacle like a cork closure. Preferred further training are described below.
- the invention is particularly easy to carry out if the glue dispenser is lying with its back on top is filled so that the receptacle then has the character an upright open vessel, the later removal opening accordingly arranged below and is closed when filling. After filling then the bottom part becomes cork-like through the filling opening in the previously open end upper end of the receptacle inserted and the displaced air through the opening let out in the cork-like container bottom. In the This opening then becomes irreversible through the closure tightly closed. If so, like that already in the case of the known application device, the bottom part and its closure are pre-assembled, it is required for No independent closing of the vent valve in the bottom part Partly, which would require separate storage.
- Claim 1 relates to the preamble optionally also those already known Applicator option provided that the bottom part with a piston-like design designed as a hollow profile Body protrudes into the receptacle.
- the constructive further training is based on this addition the formation of the locking device according to claims 2 and 3 specially related. Then there is a tongue and groove engagement provided that in the training according to claim 4 has a particularly good snap effect.
- Such Training of the locking device is also possible if the piston-like body of the base part does not form a hollow profile, but is, for example, massive. Training as a hollow profile, however, to save mass Donors preferred.
- Claims 20 and 21 relate to different work steps for the preferred preparation of the back Filling the glue storage in a way that is practical without stockpiling elements of donor construction Filling in total after a minimal number of work steps can be done. In particular, this also applies to Savings on injection mold costs and generally on savings of costs in the area of sorting and completion systems targeted.
- the connector technology used ensures this for vacuum-tight packaging of the adhesive in the adhesive dispenser and provides, also together with described below Continuing education, sure that the express desired one-time packaging opening without tools and thus damage to third parties or persons Avoided as much as possible by unintentionally escaping adhesive becomes.
- Adhesive dispenser as a disposable container as tamper-proof as possible should be. It has been shown that through clumsy Manipulation may be the positive gap between the receptacle on the one hand and the one inserted into it Body of the bottom part, on the other hand, pushed apart can be. This danger can be avoided by appropriate Cross-sectional shape of the adhesive dispenser or the receptacle and the body of the base part engaging in it counteract this by replacing a rectangular one or flattened cross-section a radius-related oval or otherwise rounded, in the extreme case cylindrical, Cross section chooses. But there is still one Residual risk of unwanted bursting of the adhesive dispenser through clumsy manipulation. This danger will counteracted by the measure according to claim 5, which a burst of play between the bottom part and the Receptacle using a special holding device prevented.
- Claims 6 to 9 describe preferred configurations the adhesive dispenser in the area of the receptacle, which the recording function and the filling function perfectly match each other.
- Claim 8 forms the already in the known Applicator provided hollow body of the bottom part, the is pushed into the receptacle, further in that that it is completed at the end.
- the dispenser as a pipette according to claim 9, be it oval or cylindrical, what optimally links both of these points of view.
- the execution of the invention is typical Adhesive dispenser as a pipette with a volume of 10 ml or as a 10 g pipette.
- a pipette-shaped adhesive container is made two components made of thermoplastic and compared to the adhesive composed of inert plastic, namely the receptacle 2 according to FIG. 1 and the bottom part 4 according to FIG. 2.
- the receptacle 2 encases the receiving space 3 of the adhesive with an oval sleeve 6, with the exception the special features described below along their dash-dotted axis constant cross-section Has.
- the sleeve goes over a still with oval cross section and tapering in an axial continuation of the sleeve 6 at 45 ° sloping shoulder 8 into an end wall 10, which is designed as an oval at right angles to the axis of the pipette is.
- This end wall 10 settles in the axial direction a non-oval mouthpiece 12 from the pipette.
- This extends with a mirror symmetry to the pipette axis elongated rectangular neck piece 14 along the Axis of the pipette away from the end wall 10 and goes in a tapping nipple 16 tapering towards the tip each circular cross-section over, for later Adhesive removal tip before removal by a Closure 18 is closed, for example in shape a cylindrical twist-off nipple with a predetermined breaking point.
- the surface shape of the mouthpiece 12 is selected so that that a plug closure, not shown, for protection of the mouthpiece 12 before and after use is attachable.
- a centering aid when attaching the Plug closure has the neck piece 14 on the outside of the two short sides of the rectangular cross-section each have an inlet slope 24 on.
- On the two long sides of the rectangular Neck piece 14 is one along the axis of the Pipette-extending raised H-profile formed, which in 1 an upper recess 26 and a lower recess 28 between the two parallel ones Ribs of the H-profile forms.
- the upper recess 26 is on its axially outer free end with a run-in slope 30 provided and cooperates with the outer bevel 24 of the Neck piece 14 when aligning the plug closure at the Attach to the mouthpiece 12.
- the overall configuration of the bottom part 4 at least essentially complementary in the outer areas chosen oval.
- the bottom part 4 according to FIG. 2 is of a hollow profile formed, the one stepped in the axial direction outside has oval outer sleeve that is in the range of their gradation closed like a bulkhead from the bottom 36 of the adhesive container is.
- the upper end 38 in FIG. 2 of the sleeve of the base part 4 as a slide-in guide is somewhat opposite the inner surface 34 of the sleeve 6 reset to after filling the Recording room 3 a tolerance compensating "threading" the To facilitate bottom part 4 in the sleeve 6.
- annular bead 40 On the circumference of the hollow profile in axial height of the bottom 36 or from the outside thereof Bottom surface in a locking groove 42 in the inner wall surface 34 the sleeve 6 and fixes the end position of the bottom part 4 in the receptacle 2 final and captive.
- annular bead 40 according to FIG. 2a in two resilient Bead flaps 40a divided in the middle of the distance between both elongated sides of the oval cross section have and are mirror symmetrical to the axis around the extend narrow cross-sectional sides of the oval.
- the bead flaps 40a are thus on the hollow profile of the bottom part 4 as Circumferential segments arranged.
- the lower in the axial direction or in Fig. 2 lower End 44 of the bottom part 4 is so narrow within the tolerances adapted as possible to the inner wall surface 34 of the sleeve 6 and is outside the bottom 36 outside with two encircling Providing sealing beads 46 which are axially offset from one another and cooperate sealingly with the inner wall surface 34 of the sleeve 6. It is important that the sealing engagement of the sealing beads 46 on the inner wall surface 34 of the sleeve 6 even when deforming external influences is kept permanently.
- a holding device is used for this purpose, which is shown in FIGS 1c on the one hand and 2 on the other hand described below becomes.
- the receptacle 2 is not far from the free end of the sleeve 6, but with some axial reset opposite this free end, as a ring-shaped process at the end of the receptacle 2 on this a circumferential outer flange 48 formed of an annular end Has projection 50, but not to the level of open cross section 52 of the sleeve 6, but about a wall thickness is set back from this. Thereby the free end of the sleeve 6 is opposite the end Projection 50 a little ahead.
- the bottom part 4 also points outwards End of its lower outer end 44 a circumferential outer flange 56, which is at a distance from the outer surface of the end 44 and thus forming an opposite of this outer surface arranged circumferential slot 56 a circumferential recess 58 forms that with an outer circumferential step 60th is trained.
- the assembly of the glue dispenser is the end 44 of the hollow profile of the bottom part 4 piston-like within the Inner surface 34 guided at the free end of the sleeve 6.
- the free end 52 of the sleeve 6 engages in the slot and is thereby inside of the end 44 and outside of the recess 58 held, which in turn additionally held is that the end projection 50 on the outer flange 48 Sleeve 6 engages in the circumferential step 60 of the recess 58.
- the recording room is first 3 of the receptacle 2 through the piston-free inner cross section the sleeve 6 filled with adhesive before the piston-like Bottom part with its end 38 in the sleeve 6 of Receiving container 2 of the sleeve 6 inserted and axially in this is inserted like a piston, the bottom 36 as Piston surface serves.
- the bottom 36 is provided with a vent valve 62, which after snapping of the bottom part 4 in the receptacle 2 with the Assembly means is closed.
- the bottom has 36 of the base part 4 has a central circular opening 64 on the axially through a sleeve-like from the bottom 36 to the outside Ranging cylindrical insertion guide 66 is extended, which on his Free end with a circumferential inner depression 67 is.
- This insertion guide 66 is used for insertion a pin-like closure 68, which in the Slide-in guide 66 is axially displaceable.
- the closure 68 has the shape of an inside open and on its outside lying front 69 closed hollow cylinder, the its one flank with an inner free end of the Hollow cylinder open longitudinal slot 70 is provided. This Longitudinal slot ends in a radially inward and outward direction trending slope. Their outer edge controls together the tapered bottom 76 of the depression 67, by the air passage between the slide guide 66 and the shutter 68 is possible, the starting closing position of the vent valve 62.
- Closure 68 is so in the cylinder neck or the sleeve 66 as a pin so axially displaceable that at axially outer Positions air from the receiving space 3 through the longitudinal slot 70 on the closure 68 can escape to the outside while at in the insertion of the cylinder socket or Sleeve 66 inserted pin of the longitudinal slot sealed is.
- FIG. 2 shows the preassembled position of the Closure 68 in the insertion guide 66 in which the cylinder neck or the sleeve 66 and the protruding part of the pre-assembled pin-like closure 68 completely within the outer concave recess 72 with fully open Longitudinal slot 70 are arranged, in alignment with the Face 69 of the hollow profile of the closure 68 with the outer End surface 86 of the outer flange 56 on the bottom part 4. So it is guaranteed that already in the pre-assembled open position the vent valve 62 no element of the same protrudes from the bottom surface of the adhesive dispenser. In this pre-assembled open position of the vent valve is already the axially inner outer peripheral surface 88 of pin-like closure 68 in holding frictional Engagement with the inner surface 84 serving as a slide guide the slide-in guide 66.
