Abstract

Dieser Leistungsschalter weist mindestens eine mit einem isolierenden Medium gefüllte, zylindrisch ausgebildete, entlang einer zentralen Achse (2) erstreckte, eine Leistungsstrombahn aufweisende Löschkammer, mit zwei feststehenden, auf der zentralen Achse (2) angeordneten, voneinander in axialer Richtung beabstandeten, in der Leistungsstrombahn angeordneten Abbrandkontaktanordnungen (5,6) auf. Die Abbrandkontaktanordnungen (5,6) werden im eingeschalteten Zustand elektrisch leitend verbunden durch einen beweglichen Überbrückungskontakt. Zwischen den feststehenden Abbrandkontaktanordnungen (5,6) ist eine Lichtbogenzone (24) vorgesehen. Parallel zur Leistungsstrombahn ist eine mit beweglichen Nennstromkontakten versehene Nennstrombahn angeordnet. Der Überbrückungskontakt ist im Innern der Abbrandkontaktanordnungen (5,6), entlang der zentralen Achse (2) erstreckt, angeordnet.
Dank dieser Anordnung kann der Überbrückungskontakt massearm ausgeführt werden, sodass mit einem vergleichsweise kleinen und wenig Energie benötigenden Antrieb eine vorteilhafte Erhöhung der Ausschaltgeschwindigkeit des Überbrückungskontakts erreicht werden kann.
