Definitions

  • the invention relates to a link bridge of a transition between two articulated vehicle parts or vehicles, comprising a plurality of tread and slide members, the tread and slide members being held so as to be movable relative to one another by means of the support element.
  • a transition between two vehicles for example between railway wagons or two vehicle parts, for example between the vehicle parts of an articulated bus, consists of a transition bridge, which can be designed as a link bridge, and a bellows or bellows spanning the link bridge.
  • Such transitions have the advantage that they can yield to all driving movements that occur.
  • a transition bridge for a transition is known from EP-A1 0 257 185, in which the individual links forming the bridge are designed to be displaceable relative to one another transversely to the longitudinal direction of the bridge.
  • the disadvantage here is that this bridge as such is not able to give in to all driving movements that occur.
  • this bridge is not suitable as such to deform accordingly when cornering.
  • cornering the bridge itself is rather moved relative to the car bodies in which it is supported at the ends. There are therefore gaps in the area of the transition from the bridge to the floor of the car body, which must be covered by suitable floor plates.
  • a link bridge of a transition of the type mentioned at the outset is known, for example, from EP-A 583 491.
  • this link bridge is relatively complicated in construction and therefore expensive.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object to provide a link bridge of the type mentioned, which on the one hand is able to yield to all occurring travel movements of two articulated vehicles or vehicle parts, and which is also inexpensive, simple to manufacture and yet is extremely durable.
  • the sliding and tread members are elastically displaceable by the support elements parallel to the longitudinal axis of the support elements by the support elements, the support elements being held by the articulated vehicles or vehicle parts.
  • the individual tread and slide members, each overlapping each other, are slidably guided parallel to the longitudinal axis of the support elements.
  • the link bridge according to the invention consists of only a few components, the Manufacturing is simple, which means that the link bridge can also be manufactured inexpensively.
  • the supporting function for the individual tread and sliding members forming the sectional bridge is ensured by the two support elements, which are preferably arranged parallel to one another, the supporting elements themselves, as already explained above, being received by the car bodies of the vehicles or vehicle parts in such a way that they enter the car bodies can immerse if the links are pushed together when cornering.
  • the support elements are mounted in the car bodies of the vehicles or vehicle parts in such a way that they are able to yield accordingly in the event of roll and pitch movements.
  • the tread and sliding members are arranged against each other by resilient elements on the support elements.
  • a gap formation between the tread and sliding members is avoided in that limiting means are provided on the supporting elements to limit the displacement path of the individual sliding and tread members.
  • a connecting means in this sense can, for example, be a rope connecting the individual tread and sliding members, the length of which is so limited between the individual links that the individual tread and sliding members even in their maximally extended position still have a certain degree of coverage.
  • the last link in each case can also be connected to the car body of the vehicle or vehicle part.
  • the support element is designed as a rod.
  • the tread and sliding members advantageously have a T-shaped profile, the web, which can be connected to the support elements, at a right angle has a flange that serves as a tread or sliding surface.
  • the webs of the sliding and tread members have bores for receiving the corresponding rod-shaped support elements with a round cross section.
  • either the sliding or the tread members are advantageously made of a wear-resistant plastic.
  • a link bridge can also be used in an articulated vehicle in which the swivel joint is located in the area of the link bridge, in particular in the middle between the two vehicles under the link bridge; the middle link is then advantageously fixed to the support elements.
  • the link bridge 1 shown schematically in FIG. 1 consists of the step links 2 and the slide links 3 arranged between the step links 2.
  • the step and slide links 2, 3 are held by the two support elements 4 arranged parallel to one another, which are shown in the schematically indicated car bodies 5 , 6 are stored.
  • the tread and sliding members can thus be received transversely to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle by the support elements arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and held by the vehicles or vehicle parts.
  • the webs 2a and 3a of the T-shaped step and slide members have a bore 2b and 3b for receiving the support element 4, which is advantageously round in cross section.
  • a limiting means 8 is provided.
  • This limiting means 8 for example a wire rope, connects the webs 2a, 3a of the individual tread and sliding members 2, 3.
  • the length of the wire rope 8 serving as a limiting means between the individual webs or links is dimensioned in such a way that even with maximum deflection a certain degree of overlap remains between each step and slide link for each step and slide link.
  • the bridge is fastened on the one hand by the storage of the rod-shaped support elements 4 in the car bodies, and on the other hand by fastening the last tread member 2 to the car body by means of a screw connection 9. In the area of this last tread member 2, the bridge is then also on a bearing point of the car body.

Abstract
