Definitions

  • the invention relates to a splinter shell of a secondary floor Tandem warhead according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • US-A1 5,198,615 is a tandem warhead with a head Hollow charge and a subordinate secondary storey known.
  • the Hollow charge has the task of covering a bullet channel for the generate subsequent secondary storey. After stepping out of the secondary floor the secondary storey also breaks down from the bullet channel Splintering effect.
  • the splintering effect is caused by the detonative dismantling of the shell causes.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a functionally reliable secondary floor to propose a tandem warhead with increased splintering, whereby the secondary floor both the stresses after ignition of the shaped charge remains unaffected by the explosive swaths as well as the stresses withstands when passing through the bullet channel.
  • the task is in accordance with the characterizing features of the claim 1 solved.
  • the splintering effect is essential compared to the prior art increased, because the splinters on the projectile shell without gaps, and indeed under tension issue.
  • the rounded shape of the two ogives results in a high density of Splinters per solid angle with high splinter energy.
  • the massive and equally thick ogive also ensures that at Obstacles in the bullet channel, such as remains of reinforcements, move them to the side to be ousted.
  • FIG. 1 is a secondary floor 1 in a pipe section 2 of a housing 3rd a tandem warhead 4 mounted and with a threaded connection 5 with connected to the housing 3.
  • a steam protection is designated 6.
  • the front part of the tandem warhead 4 has a detonator 7 and a shaped charge 8 with an igniter 9.
  • the secondary floor 1 consists of two, screwed together via a thread 35 Housing parts 10, 11. On the housing parts 10, 11 there are ogives 44, 45 intended.
  • the ogives 44, 45 are mirror images of one another and consist of a total of 4 arcs with regard to their outer and inner contours the radii 46 to 49.
  • the thickness of the ogives is in each arc section equally thick, a cylindrical section 36 also being provided with this thickness is.
  • Both ogives 44, 45 each have a fragmentary charge on their inner wall 37, 38 23, 24 from prefabricated splinters 39.
  • the fragmentary charge 24 extends in the rear housing part 11 also over the cylindrical portion 36 and is there with 24.1 designated.
  • the fragment charges 23, 24 are limited by steps 65, 66 of the housing parts 10, 11 and by envelopes 67, 68 against explosive charges consisting of explosives 13, 14 covered.
  • An igniter 20 separates the two active charges 13, 14, the Igniter 20 is firmly clamped at 69 by the two housing parts 10, 11.
  • the active charges 13, 14 are with high pressure against the sleeves 67, 68 and the fragmentary charges 23, 24 are pressed inside the housing parts 10, 11.
  • the splinters 39 are gap-free on the inner walls 37, 38 of the housing parts 10, 11 on, the sleeves 67, 68 in the region of the splinters 39 dome-shaped indentations have due to the high pressure.
  • This also means there is no gap between the active charges 13, 14 and the envelopes 67, 68 and between the Sleeves 67 68 and the splinters 39.
  • the igniter 20 simultaneously ignites the Active charges 13, 14. This ensures that in the immediate area A large splintering effect is achieved on the rear of the enemy cover. Especially this is achieved by the rear active charge 14, by making one essential larger fragment charge 24, 24.1 is provided than in the front Active charge 13.
  • the splitting effect is composed of the splinters of the housing parts 10, 11 and from the splinters 39 of the splinter charges 23, 24.
  • the insensitivity of the igniter 20 upon detonation of the shaped charge 8 and also when the secondary storey 1 hits the crater of the bullet canal and finally the vibrations when passing through the secondary floor 1 the bullet channel is based on the one-sided or "flying" storage or Attachment of the igniter 20 in the secondary floor 1.
  • the collar 70 provides the only attachment point for the igniter 20 in connection with the housing parts 10, 11. In the axial direction of the secondary floor 1 there are only narrow contact surfaces due to the bundles 72, 73 of the housing parts 10, 11.
  • the secondary storey 1 is based on the short clamping length in geometric terms of the federal government 70 from about 5 to 10% of the total length 77 of the igniter 20, what is caliber dependent. With a caliber of 47 mm, the clamping length is of the federal government 70 approx. 6%.
  • the diameter 78 of the secondary storey 1 is approximately 33 to 40% of the total length 79, with the aforementioned caliber being 37%. That relationship guarantees a very good free flight behavior, that from detachment of the secondary floor 1 starts from the tube section 2 of the tandem warhead 4, however, one is interrupted during passage through the bullet channel Cover and with a minimal distance on the back of the cover by igniting the secondary floor 1 ends.
  • An optimal splinter density and splinter energy is due to the length of the ogive 44, 45 given in relation to the diameter 78 of the secondary floor 1. This Ratio is about 65 to 75%, with the caliber mentioned 70% available.
  • the fragmentation performance of the secondary storey is made up of the prefabricated ones Splinter 39 and the splinters from the housing parts 10, 11 together.
  • the thickness 82 of the prefabricated splinters 39 in the direction of the blast approximately 4.5 to 5% (in Case of the caliber of 47 mm 4.7%) and the thickness 81 of the ogive 44, 45 in Blasting direction (thickness of the splinters) about 7 to 8.5% of the diameter 78 of the Secondary level 1 (caliber-related 7.8%).
  • the above-described functions of the secondary floor 1 require a heavy-duty Material and are made of an alloyed with molybdenum Chrome-nickel steel ensures.
