Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for packaging a material web roll with a packaging web dispenser arrangement, which has several packaging web rolls, at least one of which is axially displaceable is, so that the webs, if necessary, a protective cover can form from several parallel to each other their longitudinal edges overlapping sheets can be put together are with an adhesive switchboard that is used for connection of packaging lines can serve and in axial overlap area between the packaging web rolls is arranged.
  • the Invention a method for packaging a roll of material web, whose circumference is wrapped in a protective cover being made up of several, parallel to theirs Longitudinal overlapping packaging webs assembled , at least one of which is for hiring of the overlap area is axially displaceable and the connected in their overlapping areas be, connecting between pulling off the Packaging webs from the packaging web rolls and the Applying the packaging webs to the material web roll or when placing the packaging webs on the material web roll and the packaging lines after Winding the necessary number of winding layers knocked off become.
  • the web rolls are relative large structures with diameters and lengths greater than 0.5 m, as used for example in the paper industry Form of paper rolls or in the textile industry in Form of woven or knitted rolls can be produced.
  • Such web rolls their diameter also more than 2 m and their width is also more than 3.5 m can, with several layers of a protective cover surrounded them during transportation and storage to protect against environmental influences.
  • the large number of packaging web rolls means of course, a considerable logistical effort. It must have a corresponding number of different roll widths be stocked. Furthermore, in the packaging track dispenser arrangement the necessary storage spaces be kept ready for the packaging web rolls.
  • the device described in US 2,893,191 has one Packaging web dispenser arrangement on which several packaging web rolls has, of which the two the latter a smaller width than the former having.
  • the narrower packaging web rolls can be moved in the axial direction.
  • Overlap widths between the narrower Packaging web rolls can be adapted to different achieve wide web rolls.
  • an adhesive spray device is provided, that acts on one of the two packaging lines.
  • Both Packaging webs are then passed together through a nip guided and glued together by pressure. If there are enough winding layers on the material web roll a cutting device occurs in action that cuts the packaging lines. This The cutting arrangement is behind the connection point in the running direction arranged for the two packaging lines.
  • the glue nozzle must namely Be put into operation before the cutter Operation can be set. However, it becomes too decommissioned early, then the ends of the Packaging webs no longer connected. If it is taken out of service too late, it disconnects Cutting device from the packaging line. The two packaging lines from the rolls 14a and 14b are still connected to each other, so that a axial displacement of the two rollers relative to each other is no longer possible without the packaging line to damage.
  • the invention is based, the packaging to simplify a web roll.
  • This task is the beginning of a device mentioned type in that the adhesive transfer station behind the packaging lanes a tee knife is arranged.
  • the adhesive switching station preferably acts an area near the edge of at least one Packing lane. It is not necessary to use the packing lanes in their entire overlap area connect to. Nevertheless, if you have the Connecting packaging webs at all, ensuring that the adhesive mediation is also on the right one Job is done. For this reason, the adhesive switching station works on the edge at least one Packing lane. This border is on everyone Case still in the overlap area.
  • the axially displaceable packaging web roll advantageously has an axial drive with a control device on that with a width measuring device for the Material web roll is connected. So that the Automate the packaging of the web roll.
  • the Control device that the widths, i.e. the axial Length known to individual packaging lanes, can be determined after determining the width of the packaged Material web roll the necessary axial overlap calculate and then the sliding packaging roll move accordingly far. In this way can also with different widths of the web rolls always the desired axial projection adjust the packaging line.
  • the axially displaceable packaging web roll is preferably arranged on a movable carrier, the has a path guide that can be moved together with it. Despite the axial displacement of the packaging web roll the path guidance always remains correct to that Packing web roll aligned. The danger that the This breaks the packaging web.
  • the packaging web dispenser arrangement advantageously has several packaging web rolls of the same width. This makes stocking easier. Several packaging web rolls with the same width are easier to manage than a large number of different widths. The adaptation to the web rolls different Width is done by setting the Overlap area of the individual packaging lines.
  • the packaging web dispenser arrangement a packaging web roll with reduced Width.
  • This packaging web roll is to the smallest width of the material web rolls to be packed customized. Even the smallest width should be reliable Folding the axial overhang on the The end faces of the rollers must be guaranteed.
  • the packaging web rolls are preferably pre-glued Wrapped in packaging web.
  • a water-soluble cold glue or a hot melt adhesive be applied to the packaging web.
  • the Bonding station can then be a relatively simple one Have structure.
  • the packaging web rolls preferably have a Width of maximum 1.5 m. Packaging web rolls, that are limited to this width can still be relatively easy to handle.
  • the packaging web dispenser arrangement can be designed accordingly smaller. This makes it cheaper and requires less Room. The trains for the packaging line are easier too check if the packaging line is narrow.
  • the task is accomplished by a method of the type mentioned at the beginning Kind of solved in that the teeing off in still unconnected area of the packaging lanes.
  • the assembly preferably takes place between the Pull the packaging webs off the packaging web rolls and the creation of the packaging lanes on the Roll of material or when creating the packaging web to the web roll.
  • the individual packaging lines can therefore work independently stay wound up from each other.
  • the final The width of the protective cover only arises during of the packaging process.
  • An overlap area of at least is advantageous 100 mm set. This makes the protective cover despite their composition from several packaging lines in Axial direction stable enough to perform the desired task namely the safe packaging of the web of material, too fulfill.
  • the web rolls accordingly their widths can be divided into different classes and a packaging track combination for every class is fixed. This makes automation easier.
  • the control device selects depending on the the appropriate packaging line combination in each class and then only has to within certain Limit the width of the assembled protective cover adjust that the individual packaging lanes overlapped more or less in the axial direction become.
  • the material web roll is preferably in the axial direction packed symmetrically. This facilitates the further Handling, especially when unrolling the packaged Roll of material web.
