Definitions
- the invention relates to a kitchen appliance for cutting Good, preferably fruit or vegetables, in strips, with one Base plate with contact surfaces on the top and between these contact surfaces at least one row of knives in arranged essentially transverse to the cutting direction is provided, their knives with cutting in height protrude beyond the contact surface and to the bottom of the Base plate are open, the at least one Knife row designed with the formation of upper crossbars is, the upper transverse webs forming the knives over the Protruding areas and each have an essentially centrally arranged depression in Point towards the underside of the base plate.
- Such a kitchen appliance is known from EP-A-0 189 743.
- the well-known kitchen device can be, accordingly his preferred role as a roaster cutter, only cut very narrow strips.
- An enlargement of the over the contact surface protruding knife leads to wider Cuttings, but above all to unwanted thicker ones Clippings. Just try the knives in their horizontal expansion, it will not be sufficient Guidance of the clippings more guaranteed.
- CH-A-137 164 also discloses a device for comminuting food, that provides a shredding device with openings and elevations.
- the Cutting organs are formed by lip-like ridges that extend over one level protrude, being shaped so that they the the material to be shredded Give the desired shape, an at least partially V-shaped cross section also being possible is.
- depressions or depressions of the plane are provided in the level in which the material to be shredded is guided, i.e. below the level, in which the cutting elements lie.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of a kitchen appliance to provide the thin but wider one Cuts off the strips of the goods while doing a clean, guided deflection of the cut strip allows.
- the cut strips should be particularly regular get cut.
- the thrust grooves on the cutting edges create the Impact of the material to be cut on the cutting edges at least two V-shaped depressions or elevations in the Strips of the material to be cut. These recesses or Elevations in the strip serve as guide channels. At the Pushing the good over the knife strip now grips the Tip of the deepening into the guide channels created in this way on.
- the depression is therefore preferably tapered shaped.
- the cut strip will thus become wide even if it is wide and is very thin, precisely guided.
- the strip becomes particularly regular cut because of an uncontrolled breaking or a Cutting the strip in an unwanted place what by an undirected and thus uneven distraction of the only partially cut individual strips can be avoided.
- a similar effect is achieved if instead of the in Grooves pointing towards the underside of the base plate two or more towards the top of the base plate Pointing grooves in two areas on the upper crosspieces are provided, between these two areas a space is defined in which generally none Grooves are provided. Pointing towards the top of the baseplate means here from the upper crossbars upwards, away from the base plate pointing, as can also be seen from FIGS. 5 to 7.
- this space can also be directed towards thrust grooves are provided on the underside of the base plate become.
- the grooves provided can both be the same horizontal and vertical expansion as well as different vertical and / or have horizontal dimensions. This allows the Shape of the guide channels created in the clippings in particular exactly to the shape of those provided in the upper crosspiece Deepening to be adjusted. There are also many options available to the surface differently structure and thus the aesthetic requirements adapt.
- the at least one Row of knives from a metal band forming top Crosspieces and lower crosspieces and connecting them Side webs formed in one piece in a meandering manner, the lower crosspieces arranged below the contact surfaces and are attached in or on the base plate.
- the lower crosspieces Knife rows cast into the base plate and thus firmly with the base plate of the kitchen appliance. Thereby annoying fasteners on the underside are also eliminated of the kitchen appliance.
- the knife strip or the metal band can also be done by gluing, screwing, clamping or by ultrasonic welding firmly to the base plate of the Kitchen appliance can be connected.
- the knife strip is replaceable on the base plate is attached. This can also be done as needed different knife strips are used to e.g. to create differently structured surfaces. Also Damaged knives can be replaced in order to avoid that in such cases the entire high quality Kitchen appliance is no longer usable.
- the rows of knives in the form of metal strips preferably corresponds to the width of an upper crosspiece about the width of a lower crosspiece.
- the row of knives is in with respect to the cutting direction deviating from a 90 ° angle arranged.
- the edges are still the same aligned that the cutting edges at right angles to the cutting direction run.
- the upper crossbars Knife rows form double-edged knives. This will make a enables particularly easy and quick processing of the goods, because the goods go back and forth between the contact areas can be moved without being set off from the contact surfaces to have to.
- Figure 1 shows an inventive kitchen appliance, essentially consisting of a flat base plate 2, which on has two contact surfaces 4 and 6 on its upper side.
- the base plate 2 is with Breakthroughs 8 for removing the cut chips Provide the underside of the kitchen appliance.
- the good to be cut is between the contact surfaces 4 and 6 over the rows of knives 10 moved back and forth until the good was completely cut open is.
- the material to be cut is used to protect against injuries attached in a holding device, not shown here.
- a row of knives 10 is a preferred one Design from a meandering curved knife strip or metal band with upper cross bars 12 and lower cross bars 14, which are connected via side webs.
- Figure 2 shows a part of such a plan view Knife strip 10 with an upper cross bar 12 and two lower crossbars 14, which are connected by side webs to the upper Crosspieces 12 are connected.
- a central recess 20 is arranged in the knife strip.
- two run-in grooves 22 between the Cut 16, 17 of the upper crossbar by the recess 20 are interrupted, incorporated.
- Figure 3 shows the v-shaped side view more clearly Start grooves 22 and those in the upper crosspiece 12 centrally molded recess 20, the bottom of the kitchen device the base plate points.
- Figure 4 shows a further embodiment, in the right and 22 more to the left of the run-up grooves towards the bottom of the base plate 2 facing thrust grooves 24 are formed.
- Start-up grooves 28 more pointing towards the top Start grooves 26 provided.
- the run-up grooves are in two Groups arranged on the edge regions of the upper crossbar 12 and define one between these two groups Gap 30.
- the recess 20 engages in this embodiment into the streak through this space incised guide channel.
- FIG. 6 shows an embodiment in which the additional run-up grooves 26 a larger vertical Have expansion than the run-up grooves 28 guide channel cut into the strip into which the Recess 20 engages after cutting the good, stronger structured and highlighted.
- Figure 7 shows a combination of toward the bottom of the base plate 2 facing start grooves 22, 24 and in Direction grooves facing towards the top of the base plate 2 26, 28.
- the grooves 22, 24, 26, 28 becomes a strongly structured surface with a distinctive Guide channel in the cut slices achieved.
- the grooves 22, 24, 26, 28 each have approximately the same Sizes, but they can also be quite different Show extents.
- the run-up grooves 28 in their vertical extent can be enlarged to the depth of the guide channel to enlarge further.
- the run-up grooves 26 then serve to stabilize the created surface structuring.
- the material to be cut is now, for example, on the Contact surface 4 placed and then in cutting direction A over the knife strips are guided onto the contact surface 6, with strips cut off on the underside of the estate become. Due to the offset arrangement of the knives, the good is if it is completely over both knives on the contact surface 6 has been carried out again almost plan.
- Execution of the knife strips represents when cutting the good safe and controlled guidance of the cut Streak sure.
- Breaking or premature cutting of the strip caused by an undirected distraction is thereby avoided.
- the uniform strips of the cut good fall on the underside of the base plate 2 through the provided Breakthroughs 8 out.
