Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système d'implant, destiné à la fixation d'une prothèse dentaire sur un os maxillaire. Grâce à l'invention, on parvient à fixer d'une manière simple une prothèse dentaire sur un implant, même si l'os maxillaire est insuffisant. Le système d'implant comprend une tige d'implant (2) présentant, à son extrémité supérieure, un trou borgne taraudé (9) dont l'axe médian (10) est incliné par rapport à l'axe médian (6) de la tige d'implant (2). C'est pourquoi la tige d'implant (2) peut être mise en place dans l'os maxillaire en position inclinée par rapport à l'axe de couronne de la prothèse dentaire. L'axe de couronne de la prothèse proprement dite conserve la position désirée. Grâce à un instrument spécial de mise en place par rotation, vissé sur l'implant coudé, ce dernier peut être mis en place par symétrie de rotation, même dans des espaces interdentaires étroits, sans augmentation de l'encombrement.
