Abstract

Ein Kalander besitzt mindestens einen Walzenstapel (1), dessen Oberwalze (2) und Unterwalze (3) je als Durchbiegungsausgleichswalze ausgebildet sind. Der Walzenmantel (15, 15a) der Oberwalze (2) und/oder der Unterwalze (3) trägt einen Bezug aus einem elastischen Kunststoff oder besteht vollständig aus elastischem Kunststoff und ist biegeweich ausgelegt. Die jeweils benachbarte Mittelwalze ist eine harte Walze (4, 13). Dies führt zu verbesserten Einstellmöglichkeiten zur Erzielung gewünschter Parameter der Papierbahn.
