Definitions

  • the invention relates to a multi-pane Fire protection glazing with at least one pane is fire-resistant or fire-retardant glass, with the interposition of an air gap a hollow one with a moisture absorbent filled metal spacer with another Glass pane is tightly connected at the edge and with a Pressure compensation device is provided.
  • fire protection glasses for indoor use buildings are usually single-shell, they are usually double-skinned if they are can be used in the outer skin of buildings. This is namely always necessary when the glazing is one should have a high thermal insulation value, as it usually only through a two- or multi-layer structure in the manner of usual insulating glass can be reached.
  • the glass panes which are under the temperature influence already strong tensile stresses in the Have formed edge area by the raised Internal pressure exposed to additional bending loads.
  • the overlapping mechanical stresses can easily exceed the strength of a sheet of glass, so that it breaks prematurely. This is the one you want Fire resistance is not always given.
  • the plugs are turned off Woodschem metal melting valves that represent the opening release if the Area of the glass pane in which the melting valve is arranged, the melting temperature of the metal is reached Has. But since the area in question is already one Must have temperature of more than 70 ° C, has the Glass pane exposed to fire in many cases as a whole even higher temperatures, which are already high Can induce stresses in the glass that the Exceed the strength of the glass. That means that Glass pane in question may already have broken before the pressure equalization hole becomes free.
  • the invention has for its object a fire protection insulating glass with a pressure compensation device provided that the disadvantages of for this purpose Fire protection glasses known solutions, namely Impairment of the field of vision and / or use of Low melting metals containing lead and cadmium, does not have.
  • the invention is that a Insulating glass panes made of two with the interposition of one Air gap over a hollow, with one moisture absorbent filled metallic Spacer known at the edge tightly interconnected glass panes Pressure compensation device, which is a metallic Capillary tube, one end of which in the inside of the arranged metallic spacing frame moisture absorbing desiccant ends, and its other end through the wall of the spacer frame and through the edge seal of the insulating glass pane to the outside is guided and in the installed state with the Ambient atmosphere communicates at a multi-pane fire protection glazing, at least a pane a fire resistant or fire retardant Glass pane is used as a pressure compensation device for the Fire in the air gap creates excess pressure is applied, the metallic capillary tube a Inner diameter of 0.1 to 1 mm and a length of at least 30 cm, and preferably from 40 to 100 cm having.
  • the length and diameter of the capillary tube are aligned largely according to the size of the fire protection glazing is called after the gas volume of the space between the panes.
  • For Capillary tubes have the usual disc dimensions a length of about 60 cm and an inside diameter of Proven 0.2 to 0.4 mm.
  • Fire protection glazing basically has the structure double glazing, however at least one of the two panes from a glass pane with increased fire resistance.
  • the two disks 1 and 5 are in the usual way with insulating glass panes metallic spacer 6 in the form of a rectangular tube made of steel or aluminum.
  • the Connection of the spacing frame 6 with the two disks 1 and 5 takes place via adhesive layers 7 made of butyl.
  • the Fillet between the spacer frame 6 and the inner surfaces the edge areas of the two disks 1 and 5 is with a second adhesive sealant 8, in particular with a silicone or polysulfide mass.
  • the spacer frame 6 is with a moisture-absorbing granules 10 filled and is on the side facing the air gap with narrow Breakthroughs 11 or with a continuous slot Mistake.
  • the openings 11 allow gas exchange between the air gap and the one with the moisture-absorbent granules 10 filled cavity the spacer 6.
  • a capillary tube 12 is arranged on one side in the cavity of the frame profile filled with the granulate 10.
  • the capillary tube 12 is pushed so far before the introduction of the adhesive sealant 8 through a hole 13 made in the outer wall in the corner of the spacer frame 6 into the spacer frame filled with the granules 10 that the end of the capillary tube by a few millimeters over the peripheral surface 14 of the Glazing survives.
  • the capillary tube 12 is preferably made of stainless steel. It has an outer diameter of approximately 1 mm and an inner diameter of approximately 0.25 mm.
  • the length L of the capillary tube 12 is approximately 60 cm, which has been found to be sufficient for fire protection glasses with an area size of approximately 1 m 2 .
  • capillary tube is sufficient for fire protection glazing up to surface dimensions of approximately 1 m 2 .
