Abstract

L'invention concerne un vitrage pare-feu, destiné à éviter la propagation du feu et de la fumée, en cas d'incendie, d'un espace dans un autre, comprenant au moins deux vitres pare-feu, alignées horizontalement et/ou verticalement, disposées de façon à ménager un joint entre elles, qui sont composées, respectivement, de deux vitres parallèles, maintenues à distance, dont l'espace intérieur fermé est rempli d'un agent ignifuge, en particulier sous forme de gel, cependant qu'un agent isolant coupe-feu est disposé dans le joint formé entre les surfaces d'about des vitres pare-feu. Ce vitrage pare-feu est caractérisé en ce que les vitres pare-feu sont maintenues des deux côtés, dans une zone en bordure, respectivement, par un profilé, en ce que les profilés opposés entre eux recouvrent le joint formé entre les vitres pare-feu ou entre la vitre pare-feu et une structure délimitant l'espace voisin, et en ce que les profilés opposés sont assemblés entre eux, séparés thermiquement, exclusivement via les vitres pare-feu servant de couche isolante.
