Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a door or a window, with a door leaf or window leaf, preferably for fire protection purposes.
  • the door leaf of a door or the window leaf of a window usually strikes a stop in the closed state thereof, which can be provided with a seal.
  • the stop itself is usually provided or formed by the door or window frame or the door or window frame.
  • the stop can be provided or formed on the exposed butt or narrow surfaces of the respective door leaf which interact with one another in the closed state of the two-leaf door.
  • Door leaves or window leaves are known from the prior art, in particular for fire protection purposes, which have a glass pane, in particular a fire protection pane, which is arranged in a circumferential frame and in particular by means of grooves formed in the frame for or by means of so-called glass retaining strips arranged on the frame.
  • the glass pane, in particular the fire protection pane is integrated in the frame. Since fire protection panes, depending on the respective fire protection requirements, have a relatively high dead weight, for example up to 300 kg / m 2 and more, corresponding door leaves or window leaves are exposed to high loads, in particular during opening and closing processes.
  • the frame and any glass retaining strips of corresponding door leaves or window leaves are generally constructed with profile elements.
  • a glass door for Fire protection is for example from the EP 0 803 634 B1 is known in which the fire protection window of a door leaf is held on its four sides with the frame for the fire protection window forming profile elements.
  • the four profile elements, two profile elements running horizontally to the ground, also called friezes or cross friezes, which are generally somewhat wider, and two vertical profile elements running vertically to the ground, which are generally somewhat narrower, have grooves for this purpose , in which the fire protection window can be inserted and / or are provided with glass retaining strips to fix the fire protection window on the profile elements.
  • the construction of the frame with four profile elements and sometimes glass retaining strips is therefore quite complex.
  • the profile elements in particular support profiles and / or glass retaining strips, also protrude above the fire protection window, which in particular affects the overall aesthetic impression of the door leaf or window leaf as well as the door or window .
  • fire tests have shown that in the event of a fire, there is an increased temperature load in the transition areas, which form a recess or a projection, from the fire protection window to the protruding profile elements of frames or glass retaining strips, which has a disadvantageous effect on the duration of resistance in the event of a fire.
  • all-glass doors are known from the prior art, in particular for fire protection purposes, which are used to prevent the passage of fire and smoke in the event of a fire from one room to another.
  • the door leaf is formed from a single fire protection pane without further frame parts. Due to the training as an all-glass door, the design options are particularly limited.
  • the DE 203 15 218 U1 further discloses a closure element for a wall opening, in particular a door or window element, comprising a surface element covering the wall opening, which has at least one cutout, wherein at least two plate elements made of a transparent material having a fire protection classification are inserted at a distance from one another.

  • the WO 2015/163797 A1 discloses a method for glazing a door leaf, comprising the steps of: creating an opening in the door leaf, the opening being delimited by an inner edge of the door leaf; Placing a glazed unit in the opening such that a slot is formed between a periphery of the glazed unit and the inner edge of the door leaf; Filling the slot at least partially with an adhesive, thereby forming a connection between the periphery of the glazed unit and at least a portion of the inner edge of the door leaf; and allowing the adhesive to cure
  • the present invention is based on the object of providing a door or a window with a door leaf or window leaf which avoids the disadvantages known from the prior art and is improved in terms of design options, so that in particular a larger one Variability in terms of structure and / or materials is made possible and at the same time the requirements of smoke and / or fire protection are met.
  • the flush and positive connection of the individual elements provided according to the invention advantageously eliminates the use of profile elements that otherwise support or hold the glass pane, preferably the fire protection pane.
  • profile elements that otherwise support or hold the glass pane, preferably the fire protection pane.
