Claims (12)

  1. Vorrichtung zur Nachbearbeitung des Falzes eines Heftes, das aus gestapelten und entlang einer Mittellinie gefalteten Bögen besteht, mit wenigstens einem Paar (12) von zueinander parallelen und einander gegenüberliegenden Walzen, die zwischen sich einen Durchlaufspalt für ein Heft bilden, wobei wenigstens eine (12b) der Walzen drehangetrieben ist und die Walzen (12a, 12b) gegeneinander beaufschlagt sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Senkrechte auf die Ebene, die von den Achsen des Paares (12) von Walzen bestimmt ist, bezüglich der Vorschubrichtung der Hefte geneigt ist und daß ein Element (20) zum Umlenken des Heftes vor dem Durchlaufspalt angeordnet ist, um den Weg des Heftes ausgehend von der Vorschubrichtung in Richtung des Durchlaufspalts zwangsumzulenken.
  2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß vor dem Walzenpaar (12) ein weiteres Paar (10) von zueinander parallelen und einander gegenüberliegenden Walzen angeordnet ist, die zwischen sich einen Durchlaufspalt für ein Heft bilden, wobei wenigstens eine (10b) der Walzen drehangetrieben ist und die Walzen (10a, 10b) gegeneinander beaufschlagt sind, wobei die Ebene, die von den Achsen des weiteren Walzenpaares (10) bestimmt ist, senkrecht zu der Vorschubrichtung der Hefte ist.
  3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Abstand zwischen den Walzenpaaren (10, 12) ein solcher ist, daß ein Heft, das vom Durchlaufschlitz der hinteren Walzen (12a, 12b) erfaßt ist, noch von dem Durchlaufschlitz der vorderen Walzen (10a, 10b) erfaßt ist.
  4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kraft der Beaufschlagung der vorderen Walzen (12a, 12b) gegeneinander deutlich größer als diejenige der vorderen Walzen (10a, 10b) in dem Moment ist, in welchem das Heft von dem Durchlaufspalt der hinteren Walzen erfaßt wird.
  5. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß für die beiden Walzenpaare (10, 12) gemeinsame Beaufschlagungsmittel (46, 48) vorgesehen sind, deren Wirkung selektiv auf das eine oder das andere Paar aufgebracht wird.
  6. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Beaufschlagungsmittel zwei Elemente (42, 44) zur Übertragung einer Abstützkraft auf die Achse der einen bzw. der anderen Walze (10a, 12a) jedes Paares enthält, wobei die Abstützkraft direkt auf das Element (42) der Übertragungselemente aufgebracht wird, das den vorderen Walzen (10a, 10b) zugeordnet ist, und indirekt, nämlich durch Berührung zwischen diesen Übertragungselementen (42, 44), auf das Element (44) der Übertragungselemente, das den hinteren Walzen (12a, 12b) zugeordnet ist.
  7. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Übertragungselemente durch zwei Schwenkhebel (42, 44) gebildet sind, deren freie Enden aneinander anliegen und deren Mittelabschnitte sich an der Achse der zugeordneten Walze abstützen.
  8. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abstützkraft auf die Hebel (42, 44) über eine Zugstange (46) aufgebracht wird, welche miteinander ausgerichtete Öffnungen in den freien Enden dieser Hebel durchquert.
  9. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Umlenkelement durch ein Führungsblech (30) gebildet ist, das sich zwischen den Walzenpaaren (10, 12) bis in die Nähe des Durchlaufspaltes zwischen den hinteren Walzen (12a, 12b) erstreckt.
  10. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Umlenkelement durch einen Endlosriemen (20) gebildet ist, der über eine Walze (10b, 12b) jedes Walzenpaares läuft.
  11. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß wenigstens eine Walze jedes Paares (10, 12) zwangsdrehangetrieben ist, wobei der Antrieb der Walzen synchron erfolgt.
  12. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Achsen der unteren Walzen (10b, 12b) in der Höhe einstellbar an einem Exzenter-Träger (34, 36) angebracht sind, um den Abstand der Walzen in Abhängigkeit von der Dicke der Hefte zu ändern.
