  • Valve adapters according to the invention are used for opening and closing the one located inside the valve Valve body that can be reached from the outside with the adapter is.
  • the valve adapter according to the invention with a dispensing tube and a handle Mistake.
  • the handle e.g. of the Valve body via a valve tube
  • the so-called Valve stem open, through which the substrate flows out and so gets into the adapter tube.
  • adapter This type is used mainly on pressure cans hold the substrate together in the adapter tube and selectively to apply when the valve has been opened is.
  • Such adapters often have at the outer end of the Adapter tube a clamp connection for an extension tube that can be plugged on and with it Help the substrate when operating the handle can also be applied specifically if the Exit of the substrate at a greater distance from the Valve must take place.
  • An example of such Applications of the invention are polyurethane foams, which as assembly foams preferably in construction used to seal components.
  • the adapter and valve are separated manufactured, the adapter with the container, in the substrate is filled, held together until the substrate is to be applied.
  • the invention usually consist of valve and Adapter made of separate plastic parts.
  • the valve adapter has a latching device on, which serves to connect the adapter with that Containing valve and containing the substrate temporarily connect positively to this way to ensure that the adapter for Is available when the substrate is deployed should.
  • a latching device serves to connect the adapter with that Containing valve and containing the substrate temporarily connect positively to this way to ensure that the adapter for Is available when the substrate is deployed should.
  • Such locking connections make outer packaging superfluous, which enclose the parts, but to avoid packaging waste are undesirable.
  • the invention Locking device makes it possible Valve adapter to be used several times, if only Subsets of the substrate are consumed and the Reliable valve adapter between several of these processes should be kept ready.
  • the recess is appropriate attached in the can cap, which so far only serves to cover the valve to prevent an untimely Exclude actuation of the can valve.
  • Such and other containers must be compared because of their Inferiority on fast-working packaging machines to get finished. So far it is are usually automatic filling machines, at their End the capped and ready-labeled Pressure outlet emerges.
  • Valve adapter DE-U-92 09 492
