Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for firing ammunition cartridges in firearms as defined in the claims, ammunition cartridges at ignition points from an ignition device synchronously are fired with functional movements of the firearm.
- a device according to the preamble of claim 1 is well known.
- Specially designed are designed to fire ammunition cartridges in firearms Ignition devices used. Such ignition devices are operated mechanically or electrically, such that a firing pin Ignition screw of an ammunition cartridge sticks at an ignition point.
- a first disadvantage consists in the fact that ignition devices are actuated by electrical control Functionality of electromagnetic interference fields can be impaired are.
- Another disadvantage is that using automatic firearms Ammunition cartridges fed via drum due to the explosion pressure be driven and that in continuous fire up to 50 shots, with sheaves with Fire cadences of 1000 rounds per minute and when the cadence changes the sheaves, for example as a result of heating the firearm body, a electrically controlled ignition device complicated and expensive is to a dessynchronization of the functional movements, in particular a striking of not yet completely at the ignition point positioned ammunition cartridges, and thus an impairment of functionality to avoid the firearm.
- the ignition device should be extremely interference-resistant to operate Grant maximum functionality of the firearm. This task is supposed to be solvable with known and proven means and manufacturing processes. It should be of a simple, compact and robust design. Finally, should they are reliable, largely maintenance-free and have a long service life.
- the idea of the invention is to use ammunition cartridges completely ignition device actuated by mechanical transmission means to ignite at firing points of firearms.
- This ignition device deliberately avoids electrical and electronic components prone to failure.
- the ignition device is fired from the explosion pressure Ammunition cartridges operated via a control slide of the firearm.
- This Drive is positively controlled and follows inevitably synchronously changing Cadenzas of the sheaves.
- the ignition device and the positive control can be switched on and off by a trigger.
- FIGS. 1 to 3 show a perspective view of part of an ignition device Z of a firearm.
- the firearm is, for example, an automatic firearm with ammunition cartridges M which are fed and controlled to position at ignition points. Any standard percussion ammunition, for example of caliber 20 to 40 mm, can be fired. Such feeding via drums and controlled positioning at ignition points is disclosed in EP-A-0 614 049 and EP-A-0 614 051.
- the ammunition cartridge M positioned at an ignition point is used by a Impact lever 1 pierced by means of a firing pin 2.
- the hammer 1 is positively controlled by the firearm drive.
- Advantageously is used to drive the firearm on a spool 3 acting explosion pressure of fired ammunition cartridges M.
- the ignition device Z has a rigid transmission as the first transmission means the control slide 3 connected control rod 4, which via a control cam 5 and a control shaft 6 actuates a rocker arm 7. Furthermore, the Ignition device Z as a further transmission means a clamping lever 8 and a means 9 exciting the striking lever 1.
- the transmission means work on an exciting means 9. The control cam 5 and the rocker arm 7 actuated from a position B to a position A, the clamping means 9 relaxed into a position C, the control cam 5 and Rocker arm actuated from position A to position B, the clamping device 9 cocked in a position D.

- the shot direction S of the ammunition cartridge M is indicated by a straight arrow.
- the zero position is completely advanced in the direction of the advance V.
- Control spool 3 and control shaft 4 of the device marked (see Figures 1 and 2).
- the control slide 3 moves for example on a (not shown) guide rail in the flow V and in the return R. In the zero position the device is fully advanced. This forward and backward movement is, for example, by a (not shown) groove in the guide rail headed safely. Driven by the explosion pressure Control slide 3 along such a guide rail.
- the control spool 3 actuates the drum and beats in the return R via the control rod 4 Control surface 5.2 of the control cam 5 and hits a control surface in the lead V. 5.1 of the control cam 5.
- the exact position of the cam stroke is about the removal of the at least one control grooves 4.1.4.2 the zero position of the device is adjustable, i.e. via the position of the control grooves 4.1.4.2 on the control rod 4 with respect to a zero position of the device. He follows for example, the cam stroke too early, i.e. the cam is struck if an ammunition cartridge M is not yet completely at an ignition point is positioned, this synchronization of the ignition with the functional movements of the firearm by shortening the distance the control grooves 4.1.4.2 to zero the device are eliminated.
- the firearm is in the position of the automatic firearm according to FIG in zero position with an ammunition cartridge positioned at the ignition point M loaded, the control cam 5 and the rocker arm 7 are in a downward position B, a trigger 10 blocks a cocked Clamping means 9 in a position D.
- the trigger 10 is from the plane of the Tension-relaxation movement of the tensioning means 9 rotated away so that the tensioning means 9 is unblocked and relaxes in position C, the ammunition round is ignited. Due to the explosion pressure, the return R of the spool 3 started.
- a control groove 4.2 of the control shaft 4 makes contact in one Return control position with a control surface 5.2 of the control cam 5 and strikes this in an upward position A.
- the control groove 4.2 is as elongated recess in the control shaft 4 attached. By one or more elongated recesses on the control shaft 4, the control cam 5 in held this position.
- the spool 3 runs in advance V.
- a forward control position contacts a control groove 4.1 of the control shaft 4 a control surface 5.1 of the control cam 5 and strikes it in a downward direction standing position B, the clamping means 9 is stretched into a position D.
- the Control groove 4.1 is provided as an elongated recess in the control shaft 4. Through one or more elongated recesses on the control shaft 4 the control cam 5 held in this position.
- the functioning of the other transmission means can be as follows describe.
- the rocker arm 7 contacts in position B with a clamping lever 8.
- This contacting is advantageously carried out by a recess 7.1 of the rocker arm 7 and a counterpart at the end of the clamping lever 8 out operated.
- This tilt mechanism around a tilt axis 6.0 is a proven one and robust mechanism.
- the clamping lever 8 acts in one Clamping / relaxation level on a clamping device 9.
- the clamping lever works 8 as a lever on the clamping means 9.
- the tensioning means 9 In a position B of the ignition device Z the tensioning means 9 is tensioned in a position D, in a Position A, the tensioning means 9 is relaxed in a position C.
- This tension / relaxation in positions A and B of the clamping means 9 is by a Arrow marked.
- the clamping means 9 is, for example, a spring, others Known clamping devices can also be used. This tensioning is instantaneous with the cam flap.
- the clamping means 9 acts immediately on the firing lever 1 and strikes the firing pin 2 in the positioned Ammunition cartridge M.
- the tensioning lever 1 is advantageously one Swivel axis 1.0 swiveling. In the embodiment according to FIGS.
- the impact lever 1 is shaped such that it is under pressure from the clamping means 9 in a tension / relaxation plane, counterclockwise around the Swivel axis 1.0 pivots, and at the ignition point in the plane of the Shot direction S strikes the firing pin 2. After pressing the firing pin 2 pivots the lever 1 clockwise around the pivot axis 1.0 back to the starting position.
- This pivoting movement of the impact lever 1 is identified by a curved double-sided arrow on the pivot axis 1.0.
- the actuation of the ignition device Z is by a trigger 10 can be activated and can be switched off by this triggering means 10.
- the trigger 10 as a trigger formed, which is rotatable about a release axis 10.0.
- This trigger movement the release means 10 is by a curved double-sided Arrow marked on the release axis 10.0.
- the release means 10 By turning clockwise around this release axis 10.0 is the release means 10 with a blocking surface 10.1 in the plane of the tensioning / relaxing movement of the tensioning means 9 positionable.
- the blocking surface 10.1 comes near the striking lever 1 to stand and prevents its pivoting movement about the pivot axis 1.0.
- the actuation of the trigger means 10 is known and proven Means controlled.
- the trigger means shaped as a trigger 10 actuated by a trigger magnet.
- the ignition device Z operated.
- Such unlocking takes place in the described embodiment by turning the trigger means 10 counterclockwise around the trigger axis 10.0, so that the blocking surface 10.1 out of the plane of the tensioning / relaxing movement of the clamping means 9 is removed.
- This unlocked position of the release means 10 is shown in accordance with Figures 2 and 3.
- the ignition device Z is driven in continuous fire by the explosion pressure of the fired ammunition cartridges M.
- the triggering means 10 blocks the striking lever 1 of the ignition device Z. With each run of the spool 3, the clamping means 9 cocked, but without operating the blocked impact lever 1. An initial ignition is started by releasing the triggering means 10 and the explosion pressure built up for the continuous fire.
- the ignition device Z runs positively controlled and inevitably in sync with the cadence of the sheaves, in particular it follows synchronously changing sheaf cadences.
- the drive of the Ignition device Z can not only be synchronized in this way Continuous fire, but also for controlled single fire use. Outgoing from a loaded firearm, with one at an ignition point positioned ammunition cartridge M, this ammunition cartridge M through short-term controlled unlocking of the release means 10 in the controlled Single fires can be ignited.
