Definitions
- the invention relates to a rotary lock cylinder for a security lock, with a cylinder housing and a rotor mounted therein, and with tumblers which have pins mounted in radial bores of the rotor and the cylinder housing.
- Rotary lock cylinders of this type have been known for a long time. These are operated with a flat key with holes or a so-called wrench. The unlocking security of such rotary lock cylinders is impaired above all by the so-called "electropick".
- the person skilled in the art understands unlocking security as the degree of aggravation, the tumblers of a rotary lock cylinder can be overcome non-destructively using tools without knowing the associated key.
- electroctropicking the rotor is clamped with a certain torque around its axis of rotation and at the same time the tumblers are moved radially outwards by vibration until all housing pins are behind the shoulder formed by the rotation of the rotor and the rotor is finally released for rotation is.
- making such unauthorized unlocking attempts more difficult has required very complex measures and correspondingly expensive cylinders.
- the invention has for its object to provide a rotary lock cylinder of the type mentioned, in which the unlocking attempts mentioned are considerably more difficult and which is nevertheless only insignificantly more expensive to manufacture.
- the object is achieved in a generic rotary lock cylinder in that a plurality of the bores mentioned are expanded differently in the area of the shear line to make it more difficult to classify the housing pins in the event of an unauthorized unlocking attempt.
- a plurality of the bores mentioned are expanded differently in the area of the shear line to make it more difficult to classify the housing pins in the event of an unauthorized unlocking attempt.
- at least some housing pins cannot initially be clamped and thus fixed radially in the unlocking attempt mentioned.
- the classification of these housing pins is difficult and only possible if the rotor can be rotated through a larger angle. Since the extensions are different, they should spring up the corresponding housing pins are arranged one after the other with a corresponding rotation of the rotor, which would be extremely time-consuming.
- the prospect that such unlocking attempts are prematurely terminated unsuccessfully in the rotary lock cylinder according to the invention is thus significantly higher than in the conventional rotary lock cylinders.
- the extensions can be countersinks on the outside of the rotor or on the inside of the cylinder housing, which can be produced very easily essentially without additional costs.
- the functional reliability of the rotary lock cylinder is not affected.
- the rotary lock cylinder 1 shown in FIG. 1 has a housing 17 known per se, in which a rotor 9 is mounted.
- a rotor 9 In radial bores 11, 12 and 13 are rotor pins 8 and in known slides 2 of the housing 17 are each loaded with a spring 4 housing pins 3. If a key (not shown here) is inserted into the key channel 10, the rotor pins 3 and the housing pins 4 are arranged with respect to the shear line 5 and the rotor 9 is thereby released for rotation. So far, the rotary lock cylinder 1 is well known per se.
- the rotor bores 11, 12 and 13 are each widened in steps with a countersink 14, 15 and 16 at their radial outer end.
- the diameters of these cross-shaped countersinks are different and depend on the rotor play. With a rotary lock cylinder with a large rotor clearance, these countersinks are correspondingly wider than with a rotary lock cylinder with a small rotor clearance.
- the diameters are, for example, 3.3, 3.4 and 3.5 mm, for housing pins with a diameter of 3.1 mm. Accordingly, the bores 11, 12 and 13 are widened by an amount of 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4 mm.
- the depth of the countersinks 14, 15 and 16 is preferably less than 1 mm, for example 0.7 mm.
- the rotary lock cylinder 1 naturally has significantly more tumblers than shown. Since the countersinks 14, 15 and 16 can be produced very easily, it is possible to provide all the bores with such countersinks without significant costs. A significant complication is also given if not all rotor bores have such countersinks.
- the rotary lock cylinder 30 shown in FIG. 2 differs from the rotary lock cylinder 1 in that slides 21, 22 and 23 have extensions 23, 24 and 25 in the area of the shear line 5, which are preferably of different designs and with some of the radial bores 27 for the housing pins 3 may be missing. Extensions 23, 24 and 25 have the effect that in an above-mentioned attempt to unlock the rotor pins 3 at the outer end of the shear line 5 are not present, but are pushed beyond it and thus lock the cylinder.
- the extensions 23, 24 and 25 can be counterbores of the bores 27 and are dimensioned such that the radial guidance of the housing pins 3 in the bores 27 are ensured.
- the locking cylinder 30 also has in the housing 17 a longitudinal channel 28 open towards the shear line 5, in which a locking member 29 is mounted, which engages with a shoulder 31 in the closing channel 10 and can be moved downward against the retroactive force of a compression spring 32.
- a locking member 29 is mounted in the housing 17 , which engages with a shoulder 31 in the closing channel 10 and can be moved downward against the retroactive force of a compression spring 32.
- the locking member 29 When a key is inserted into the locking channel 10, the locking member 29 is moved down into a position in which the extension 31 no longer engages in the key channel 10 and thus no longer locks.
- the locking member In one of the unlocking attempts mentioned above, the locking member must now be continuously pressed down by a further instrument against the force of the spring 32, which further complicates the experiment and thus increases the time required.
- the organ 31 preferably extends substantially over the entire length of the channel 10 and can consist of several parts and several compression springs.

Abstract
