Definitions

  • US Pat. No. 5,379,700 is specially designed for processing switch sections trained machine assembly known, which is made up of a Tamping machine with a multiple tamping unit and a couplable Additional tamping machine with a single sleeper tamping unit.
  • the additional tamping machine from uncoupled from the tamping machine and independent through its own travel drive method. With the tamping machine both in the trunk and Branch track compacted those threshold supports where the tamping ax can be quickly and easily immersed in the gravel.
  • the through the multiple tamping unit of the tamping machine are then moved through the independently movable additional tamping machine stuffed without lifting the track.
  • this combination switch sections can also be equipped with a powerful multiple tamping unit plug in.
  • US Pat. No. 3,744,428 also makes one of two in the machine longitudinal direction tamping machine formed one behind the other known, with each machine frame assigned a multiple tamping unit is.
  • the tamping unit that follows in the working direction is in the machine longitudinal direction slidably mounted.
  • the cramping becomes like this carried out that after tamping two neighboring sleepers by the front multiple tamping unit skips the entire machine two sleepers is advanced by a total of four sleepers. The in this way not blocked by the front multiple tamping unit
  • sleepers are each caused by the subsequent multiple tamping unit supports.
  • FIG. 7 it also known each of the two machine frames instead of a multiple tamping unit to assign two single-tamping units.
  • each tamping unit can be moved in the machine longitudinal direction on the machine frame stored. Additional tamping machines with two multiple tamping units are known from U.S. Patents 4,224,874, 3,595,170 and 3,494,297.
  • the object of the present invention is to create a suitable for stuffing a large number of sleepers on a track Process with which a particularly high tamping performance in connection with a precise and permanent track position can be achieved.
  • This object is achieved according to the invention with a method of the generic type Kind solved in that in a continuously cyclically repeating first tamping pass by lifting the track to a target position simultaneous stuffing of at least two each Emerging threshold groups, between which at most two sleepers are arranged, one in the cycle of the first Darning passages independent, carried out at a later date second tamping pass - while keeping the target position unchanged of the track - be stuffed.
  • Fig. 1 is the simultaneous tamping with a fourfold arrow 59 indicated by two threshold groups labeled x and y. Any of these The two threshold groups x and y comprise two immediately one after the other arranged sleepers (shown in full black). This simultaneous A total of four sleepers 22 are tamped in a first one Stuffing passage A, which is repeated cyclically in the working direction (arrow 3) (see dash-dotted lines of the quadruple arrow 59). The each between the two threshold groups x, y and in the first tamping pass A threshold not blocked is marked with z. Just before When the first tamping pass A is carried out, the track is raised 2 in the desired target position.
  • the track 2 is after the cycle of the first tamping passes A by 22 threshold groups each comprising two thresholds x, y supports, with x, y between each of these threshold groups an unstopped threshold z is positioned.
  • These individual thresholds z are in the second tamping passage B, which is completely independent of the first Stuffing passage A is carried out, without being influenced the track position corrected in the first tamping pass. While of the second plug passage B can be a contact pressure in the vertical direction on the rail 57 lying above the threshold z to be plugged be exercised.
  • Differentiate the stuffing passages A, B shown schematically in FIGS. 3 and 4 is characterized in that between the two two thresholds 22nd comprehensive threshold groups x, y a total of two in the longitudinal direction immediately adjacent thresholds z are located in the first tamping passage A not be supported. These two thresholds z - as through a double arrow 60 indicated in Fig. 4 - in the second tamping passage B supports without the A already performed in the first tamping passage Track position is affected.
  • this includes in the working direction front threshold group x a total of three immediately adjacent thresholds 22, while the rear threshold group y has two thresholds 22. This total of five thresholds 22 are corrected simultaneously Track position blocked (see arrow 61). In between is just the a threshold group having a single threshold 22, e.g. This is in second plug passage B is plugged.
  • the machine arrangement 1 shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 for stuffing of sleepers 22 of a track 2 consists of one with respect to the working direction (Arrow 3) upstream tamping machine 4 and a subsequent one Additional tamping machine 5 together. Both tamping machines 4,5 are through a coupling device 6 releasably connected to each other.
  • the tamping machine 4 which can be moved on rail bogies 11 - also as To designate main tamping machine - has one out of two by a joint 7 interconnected parts 8, 9 formed machine frame 10 on the driver's cab 12 are assigned at the end.
  • a drive unit 13 to power the various drives is located on the rear, Trailer-shaped part 9 of the machine frame 10.
  • Between the two rail bogies 11, which are bridge-shaped Support part 8 of the machine frame 10 is one in the machine longitudinal direction extending work frame 14 is provided. This supports itself with his rear end via a rail undercarriage 15 directly from track 2, while a front end 16 in a bearing 17 of the machine frame 10 is mounted for longitudinal displacement.
  • a sliding drive 66 is one Relative displacement in the machine longitudinal direction between the work frame 14 and machine frame 10 feasible.
  • On the work frame 14 are two in Multiple tamping units arranged one behind the other in the machine longitudinal direction 18,19 attached, each for simultaneous tamping of two immediately adjacent sleepers 22 as two-sleeper tamping units are trained.
  • Each multiple tamping unit 18, 19 has four in Machine longitudinal direction arranged one behind the other with tamping pick 20 provided tamping tools 21 for simultaneously tamping two immediately adjacent thresholds 22.
  • the by a vibration drive 23 vibrating stuffing tools 21 are each by its own Add-on drive 24 can be provided to carry out the tamping to one another.
  • Two in their starting position to perform the tamping located and can be provided with each other tamping pick 20 each a pair forming tamping tools 21 are at a threshold distance a from each other distant.
  • the two adjoining each other in the machine longitudinal direction Stuffing pick 20 of the two adjacent multiple tamping units 18, 19 are - regarding their position immediately before the cramming - also in a distance corresponding to a threshold distance a.
  • Drives 25 adjust the height of the two multiple tamping units 18.19 feasible.
  • a Central control device 34 for controlling the two multiple tamping units 18,19 and the two track lifting and straightening units 27 housed.
