Abstract
Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft Gleit- oder Pflegemittel aus mindestens einem synthetischen Esteröl und mindestens einem nativen Öl sowie die Verwendung eines solchen Gleit- oder Pflegemittels als Gummipflegemittel.
- Herkömmliche Gummipflegemittel sind auf Basis von Benzinkohlenwasserstoffen, wie Leicht- oder Testbenzin kombiniert mit mineralölstämmigen Fraktionen aufgebaut. Bekannt ist auch die Verwendung wässeriger Öl-, Silicon- oder Wachsemulsionen als Gummipflegemittel.
- Nachteilig bei diesen Produkten ist die schlechte biologische Abbaubarkeit und bei den wässerigen Öl- bzw. Siliconemulsionen deren Frostempfindlichkeit, die eine Anwendung als Gummipflegemittel für Kraftfahrzeugtürdichtungen und Kraftfahrzeugfensterdichtungen bei tiefen Temperaturen einschränkt. Insbesondere bei den auf Basis von mineralölstämmigen Kohlenwasserstoffraktionen zusammengesetzten Gummipflegemitteln wird die Farbe des Gummis verändert und die Anwendung solcher Pflegemittel verleiht dem Gummi einen unerwünschten Oberflächenglanz.
- Zur Vermeidung von Nachteilen, die beispielsweise durch den Einsatz mineralölhaltiger Schmiermittel, Schalöle und Bohremulsionen hervorgerufen werden, ist der Einsatz von Ölen und Ölemulsionen auf der Basis von nativen Esterölen vorgeschlagen worden, vgl. DE 34 19 415 A1.
- Es ist auch bekannt, daß technisches Ricinusöl als Schmiermittel für Hochleistungs-Verbrennungsmotoren eingesetzt worden ist, vgl. DE 41 38 910 A1.
- Die erfindungsgemäßen Zusammensetzungen aus Rapsölmethylester und Rapsöl weisen die folgenden Anteile auf:
90 bis 5 Gew.-% Rapsölmethylester,
80 bis 5 Gew.-% Rapsöl,
0 bis 10 Gew.-% Carnaubawachs,
0 bis 10 Gew.-% Siliconöl,
0 bis 5 Gew.-% Polytetrafluorethylenpulver,
0 bis 1 Gew.-% fluorierter Alkylester,
0 bis 1 Gew.-% nichtionogener Emulgator. - Bei teilweiser oder vollständiger Substitution des Anteils an Rapsölmethylester durch Rapsölethylester resultieren Zusammensetzungen mit verbessertem Kälteverhalten bei der Verwendung als Gummipflegemittel.
- Für bestimmte Anwendungen, beispielsweise Hartgummi, sind Abmischungen mit Zusätzen von 0,001 bis 1,0 Gew.-% fluorierter Alkylester als Netzmittel vorteilhaft.
- Falls es auf besonders gute Oberflächengleiteigenschaften ankommt, kann hier durch Zusätze von 0,001 bis 10 Gew.-% Siliconöl (Methyl-, Phenylmethylsiliconöle) oder auch 0,001 bis 5 Gew.-% Polytetrafluorethylenpulver ein entsprechendes Verhalten eingestellt werden.
- Als nichtionogene Emulgatoren, die in Mengen von vorzugsweise 0 bis 1,0 Gew.-% zugesetzt werden können, haben sich Oxoalkohole als günstig erwiesen.
- Die Verwendung als Gummipflegemittel wird vorgeschlagen insbesondere im Kraftfahrzeugbereich für die bereits erwähnten Tür- und Fensterdichtungen, aber auch für Windschutzscheibendichtungen, Kofferraumdichtungen u. dgl., sowie bei entsprechenden Gummidichtungen im Bootsbereich.
- Die angegebenen Zusammensetzungen sind wirksam bei natürlichen und synthetischen Kautschuken und können beispielsweise bei der Pflege der Flanken von Fahrzeugreifen, von Fenster- und Türdichtungen im Wohn- oder Industriebereich, von Griffstücken, Handschuhen, Schuhen, Kabeln, Latexartikeln u. dgl. von Nutzen sein.
- Die angegebenen Mittel erhalten Gummi in unterschiedlicher Shore-Härte, wie sie insbesondere am Kraftfahrzeug verwendet werden, geschmeidig und verleihen den Produkten ein gepflegtes Äußeres.
- So läßt sich die Gummielastizität derartiger Elastomere durch die Verwendung der angegebenen Zusammensetzungen länger erhalten und die Verschlechterung der Materialeigenschaften durch Oxidation, Verschmutzung und UV-Strahlung wird wirksam gebremst.
- Die biologische Abbaubarkeit der angegebenen Zusammensetzung ist als gut zu bezeichnen. So wird Rapsöl nach der CEC- L 33T 82-Methode innerhalb von 21 Tagen um mindestens 80 % abgebaut, während dies bei Mineralölen nur zu 15 - 20 % der Fall ist. Auch die Abbaubarkeit von Rapsölmethylester ist besser als diejenige der an sich für die angegebene Verwendung ebenfalls in Betracht kommenden mineralölstämmigen Fraktionen.
- Eine für die Verwendung als Gummipflegemittel besonders geeignete und bevorzugte Rezeptur hat die folgende Zusammensetzung:
- 50,0 Gew.-%
- Rapsölmethylester
- 48,5 Gew.-%
- Rapsöl
- 1,0 Gew.-%
- Methyl-Siliconöl 500
- 0,5 Gew.-%
- Oxoalkohol.
- Eine andere im Rahmen der Erfindung liegende Rezeptur im Sinne eines Ausführungsbeispiels hat die Zusammensetzung:
- 50,0 Gew.-%
- Rapsölmethylester
- 49,0 Gew.-%
- Rapsöl
- 1,0 Gew.-%
- Polytetrafluorethylenpulver.
- Die damit erzielten Ergebnisse (Bewitterungstest, UV-Bestrahlungstest, Ozonbehandlungstest oder dgl.) lassen sich wie folgt zusammenfassen:
- Bewitterungstests erfolgten durch Anwendung am PKW über eine Laufleistung von ca. 10.000 km.
- Die Beständigkeit gegenüber Beregnung und UV-Strahlung ist geringer einzustufen als bei herkömmlichen Mineralölprodukten, dennoch ist der Pflegeeffekt als gut zu bezeichnen. Dieses Ergebnis überrascht insofern nicht, da die biologische Abbaubarkeit gegeben ist. Die behandelten Gummiteile behielten deutlich länger ein gepflegtes Äußeres und wurden nicht so schnell unansehnlich.
Claims (7)
- Gleit- oder Pflegemittel aus einer mindestens ein synthetisches Esteröl und mindestens ein natives Öl enthaltenden Zusammensetzung.
- Gleit- oder Pflegemittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es native Wachse, wie Carnaubawachse enthält.
- Gleit- oder Pflegemittel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2 dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Rapsölmethylester gemeinsam mit einem nativen Öl eingesetzt wird.
- Gleit- oder Pflegemittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Rapsölmethylester gemeinsam mit Rapsöl eingesetzt wird.
- Gleit- oder Pflegemittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, gekennzeichnet durch ein Zusammensetzung von90 bis 5 Gew.-% Rapsölmethylester,80 bis 5 Gew.-% Rapsöl,0 bis 10 Gew.-% Carnaubawachs,0 bis 10 Gew.-% Siliconöl,0 bis 5 Gew.-% Polytetrafluorethylenpulver,0 bis 1 Gew.-% fluorierter Alkylester,0 bis 1 Gew.-% nichtionogener Emulgator.
- Gleit- oder Pflegemittel nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß anstelle des Rapsölmethylesters ganz oder teilweise Rapsölethylester eingesetzt wird.
- Verwendung des Gleit- oder Pflegemittels nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6 als Gummipflegemittel.
