Definitions
- the textile printer is an increasing demand from the market increasing variety of print jobs - more different patterns and more different color combinations per pattern - in smaller and smaller ones Order sizes with increasing profitability to manage something. This creates the Demand, the increased share of setup and Effective cleaning effort (i.e. effective for profitability) To shorten.
- the print production time is pure in many print shops already less than 50% of total operating time (working hours) what is intolerable.
- the invention thus relates, such as EP 0 494 339 A1 or EP 0 056 630 A1, on a device for applying a substance on a web, especially for textile printing by means of circular templates, the application device Devices for cleaning the application device itself and, if applicable, the circular templates and wherein the supply of the substance and cleaning liquid via a parallel to the round template Pipe and a variety of side openings takes place and between the outlet openings and the order point or cleaning zone none the order substance or cleaning liquid touching or conductive parts are arranged so that the substance or cleaning liquid directly from the Outlet openings to the inside of the template reached.
- the known device according to EP 0 494 339 A1 is avoided a disadvantage of the older EP facility 0 277 481 B1, in which the distribution of the lateral outlet openings coming substance guiding surfaces are arranged, which in the sense of the general Indispensable self-cleaning task question the ordering facility.
- the outlet openings typical distance is 50 - 100 mm, the substance fed under high pressure.
- the Outlet openings kept small. The pressure must be all the more be higher than the substance according to EP 0 494 339 A1 yes should not emerge in a closed jet, but is sprayed like a fan.
- the invention is based on the consideration that Spray the substance and the cleaning liquid each under high pressure neither for the application process is still optimal for the cleaning process. Just by optimizing the cleaning process but the aim aimed at for the first time by the invention accessible, templates and order facilities too then left in the assembled state when the
- the application device should be like this be remodeled that when adding substance the usually viscous application substance (Printing paste, printing ink) compared to the input printing considerably pressure-relieved slow flowing state almost depressurized and by no means splashing in largely closed layer of uniform thickness evenly spread over the order width to the application point can drain off. Since the application process with little Pressure is being worked, the pressure can be when cleaning be increased significantly, causing water or a other low viscosity detergent with high Speed straight in the axial direction of the outlet openings reaches the inside of the circular template and rinsed them.
- the stencil openings are made by of the cleaning liquid, which is also a allows some cleaning of the outside of the stencil.
- the desired mode of operation is according to the invention thereby achieved that the center distances of the outlet openings regardless of the length of the order setup 5 - 20 mm, preferably 5 - 15 mm and that the total cross-sectional area of all outlet openings is at least twice the cross-section the entrance opening in the tubular body.
- the invention Application facility is also at the same time Cleaning device, both self-cleaning device as well as stencil cleaning device; at least for the cleaning of the inside of the round stencil, which is the more difficult part.
- the subject of the invention is an application device, the cleaning device at the same time for the substance supply device, for the doctor element and for the circular template and that in it Multiple functions either in the printing press or in one Cleaning machine can be used.
- Both types of cleaning are according to the invention designed application device enables and in particular by the substance supply device.
- Substance delivery is therefore essential for the invention without the presence of any substance touched device outer surfaces, suitability of the substance supply device for cleaning the application device with compared to significantly so far reduced consumption of cleaning fluid (Water); (Feature of water-saving, complete Self-cleaning); Suitability for self-cleaning even without removing (removing) the application device from the surrounding circular template and at the same time Also suitable as a cleaning device for the round template or in particular for the inner wall and the substance passage openings of the round template.
- cleaning fluid Water
- Feature of water-saving, complete Self-cleaning Suitability for self-cleaning even without removing (removing) the application device from the surrounding circular template and at the same time
- a cleaning device for the round template or in particular for the inner wall and the substance passage openings of the round template are also suitable as a cleaning device for the round template or in particular for the inner wall and the substance passage openings of the round template.
- the invention has the greatest effect on self-cleaning application equipment is applicable, it could also be used in order facilities in which the cleaning liquid independent of the distribution system for the order substance is fed. But in particular is also at self-cleaning application equipment such additional piping system in the order facility sensible.
- the main purpose of this is the inside the template and any provided Roller squeegee to be cleaned particularly intensively.
- the joint cleaning of the round template and application device represents the final phase of an order and cleaning existing overall process. It is therefore particularly important to make the transition between these two sections.
- the supply of cleaning fluid through the Order setup is only then in this sense appropriate if the order substance already exists largely removed from the order facility is.
- a surprising advantage of the invention is that an order facility the better for stencil cleaning can be used the better it is for your actual Production task, namely the evenly spreading Supplying substance to an application point, suitable is.
- Fig. 1 shows a schematic top view of the order and Cleaning process.
- Fig. 2 shows a cross section by an application and cleaning device according to the invention.
- Fig. 3 shows a schematic plan view cleaning the round template in the car wash.
- Fig. 4 shows the essential parts of the car wash in side view.
- 5a and 5b are two Embodiments for the magnetic pressure of the Roller doctor blade in a device built according to FIG. 4.
- Fig. 6 shows a possibility for the supply of Cleaning liquid to the bottom of an application device.
- Fig. 1 recalls that the primary function of a Application device 5 is one of one Printing blanket 22 moving web of material through a round template 1 to apply a substance 18 therethrough.
- the Circular template 1 is shown in not shown Stretched over rotatably mounted end rings 2.
- the Substance 18 is pump 14, preferably a Peristaltic pump, via the hose sections 20 'and 20 supplied to the application device 5 and by this equally distributed. That the application device 5 in same way for the production process as for the own cleaning and stencil cleaning is suitable in connection with FIGS. 2 and 5 explained in more detail.
- This stopper intensifies like a sponge Cleaning effect of the flowing liquid.
- the preferred peristaltic pump is a requirement for applying this optimize the overall cleaning process Measure.
- the cleaning body (sponge or Like.) happenss and thus also cleans the peristaltic pump and at the same time separates the substance from the flowing medium.
- Fig. 1d shows how a self-cleaning application device 5 is cleaned without it from the production facility to remove: via the pump 14 can water 15 through the hose sections 20 and 20 ' be fed; this process can be done by compressed air are supported, which are indicated by the arrow 21 is. During the color supply 18 through the color supply 18 'is replaced, the cleaning liquid from the application device 5 back into the water tank 15 or into a sewer.
- Fig. 2 shows a schematic representation Overall cross section through an inventive designed application device 5.
- This cross section is to be understood that the towards the Seen longitudinally one behind the other in spatial terms located flow channels and channel connections in the drawn plane as side by side are arranged.
- In this drawing are only those cross-sectional portions of the flow dividing channel body 6 (distribution system 6) hatched, in which related to the total length of the facility, there are no voids.
- the body 6 is according to this embodiment Fig. 2a sealing on all sides by a square tube encased and a round tube or a flow channel K1 protrudes from at least one of the two end faces of the Set up in the middle of the body 6, at the same time Middle of the application area (the exit width, the working width).
- this channel is through the Connector 23 (in Fig. 4) the application substance or introduced the cleaning liquid.
- this round tube Surpassed this round tube the body K6 completely, so this can Round tube also act as a support bar on its two Ends the device on preferably pivotable Mounts, which are not drawn, rests. Otherwise, the square tube can do this function be assigned.
- a sealing cross wall can be used, whereby the interior of this tube in two or exactly flow areas of approximately the same size is divided and it can then alternately during printing on one end of application substance and during washing cleaning liquid introduced at the other end become.
- the substance is on the way K1-K2-K3 etc. passed through the device, the cleaning liquid is on the other side through the channel K1 'in channel K2 '(pipe 7) passed and passes through Mouths 19 '- preferably in a line close to each other bored holes of the same diameter - from this Channel 2 'for cleaning the inside of the wall 11 and a doctor element, if present, in the application space.
- the flow channel dividing system is used continued through 13 stages of division, which corresponds to a very large working width.
- the outlet openings are labeled K13.
- the Substance flows out of the openings with very little pressure K13, following gravity, in vertical Flow direction 18 'to the application site or application by the doctor element, e.g. a roller squeegee or can be a squeegee or a squeegee, as drawn in Fig. 2a.
- the template 1 touches during the application process and likewise at least during part of the Cleaning process that e.g. Conveyor belt or the Printing blanket 22 or e.g. a roller 4 or a covering 28, 29 or the like (in Figs. 5a and b).
- the Cleaning process e.g. Conveyor belt or the Printing blanket 22 or e.g. a roller 4 or a covering 28, 29 or the like (in Figs. 5a and b).
- FIG. 3 shows the method variant in FIG. 3a cleaning a printing device: round stencil 1 with end rings 2 held in bearings, tensioned and driven as in the printing press; built in (stayed!) the invention Application facility.
- 3b shows a section the printing press (as in Fig. 1) after the printing device taken from it and into the Washer was spent.
- the circular template 1 is put together with the application device 5 from the printing blanket 22 removed and inserted into the washing device.
- For Cleaning the circular template 1 can be the same pump 14 are used as in the production process and for sucking back the excess substance according to FIG. 1b has been used. However, it can be another Water connection can be selected. If necessary, in this liquid-carrying pipe system additionally or alternatively compressed air via one of the connections 16, 16 'can be initiated.
- the variant shown has the advantage, however, that in the course of cleaning the circular template 1 not only the application device 5, but also the pump 14 together with its connecting hoses 20, 20 'is cleaned.
- Fig. 4 shows the washing system 3 in a schematic Side view.
- an electric or permanent magnet 27 can be provided, which the squeegee 8 out of it by a permanent magnet 9 secured rest position in the from Fig. 5b apparent working position transferred.
- Fig. 5b differs from that 5a essentially in that the pressure the doctor blade 8 does not have a relatively complex Electric or permanent magnets 27 inside the Roller, but over e.g. two in the surface of the Roller 4 or the brush 29 incorporated permanent magnets 10 takes place.
- the Distance of the mouths 19 of the distribution system 6 optimized for the substance in the range of 5 - 20 mm can be that on the one hand when applying the substance a homogeneous width distribution, on the other hand with the Internal cleaning of the round template 1 an excellent Cleaning effect is achieved.
- the application device By supplying compressed air, the application device becomes in their interiors, but not on theirs Outside surfaces dried. Now when the order setup, without being removed from the template, after cleaning for a new application process is used, it can drip Water or other cleaning liquid Dripping from the back of the device 11 application errors cause. To avoid this, the Rear wall 11 provided with a small groove 12, in which at most after the cleaning process the upper and rear furnishing area remaining Droplets of liquid by gravity then run down, be caught. This Measure prevents application errors due to liquid residues, that could drip onto the stencil.
- Fig. 6 shows possible details of the one in Figs. 3 and 4 only indicated connection 26 for the bottom the application device 5 provided feed 7 for Cleaning liquid
- This can turn on according to FIG. 6b one end fluidically connected Tubes exist, with some variants for the in Row of outlet openings arranged in the drawing are shown: Row of holes only in one of the two Pipes, a row of holes in both pipes or in one No pipe and two in the second pipe side by side rows of holes arranged horizontally.
