Abstract

An adjustable bed consists of a fixed base (1) supporting a horizontal (3) and at least one movable (2) section which can be set at an angle relative to the horizontal one. The pivoted head section of the bed is raised or lowered by means of at least one bar connected to a drive motor which also moves the horizontal section as the head section's position is altered.
