  • the layer 11 is preferably sufficiently thick to mask the fabric reinforcement layer 14, the roughness of which forms punctual reliefs on the said layer could in the long run cause local wear on the surface of the cylinder and even perforate said layer 11 so that the seal between cylinder and blanket would then be lost.
  • the blanket can include intermediate layers, in addition to those described and illustrated.
  • the polymer material constituting the layer integrated into the blanket and applying to the printing cylinder can be any suitable material.
